FaStEn HItCH BoLt.
• Insert bolt through washer,
and through holes on
tongue and main assembly.
• Install second washer and
nyloc nut.
• Tighten with supplied
wrenches.
For 1 1/4" HItCH onLy: rEmovE tHE HItCH adaptEr.
• Remove the
set screw.
For 2" HItCHES SkIp tHIS StEp and proCEEd to StEp 3.
attaCH tonguE to maIn aSSEmBLy.
Align holes on tongue assembly
with holes on main assembly.
Align holes on hitch
and tongue.
• Insert hitch
bolt and lock-
washer from
right to left.
• Tighten with
adjustable
wrench.
• Install safety pin.
• Remove the adapter.
NOTE: Long bolt for 2" receivers.
Short bolt for 1 1/4" receivers.

FLIp outErmoSt Support tuBE.
• Using supplied
wrench remove
both sets of bolts,
washers, and lock
washers. Set aside.
• Remove support
tube.
• Rotate support tube 180°.
Place rotated support
tube back on bracket.
Align holes.
Secure support tube using
supplied wrench. Fasten and
tighten both sets of bolts,
washers, and lock washers.

InStaLL wHEEL trayS.
• Insert cap screw
through washer, and
through holes on tube.
• Install second washer
and nyloc nut.
• Tighten using
supplied wrench, and
supplied hex wrench.
rEpEat For SECond FIXEd wHEEL tray.
prEparE For LoadIng.
Tuck strap into slot at
rear of wheeltray.
Release wheelstrap
by pressing the
lever on the buckle.
Pull Knob.
Raise Mast.
Pull wheel hoop
apart. Put in place
around wheeltray
as shown below.
Release letting wire rest in
hole, and slot of wheeltray.
Insert into
opening of tube.

Load your BIkES. • Load heaviest bike
first. Load it closest
to the vehicle.
• Set your bike in
place.
• Loosen sliding
wheel tray, and
adjust if necessary.
• Tighten knob.
Insert the strap end
through the top of
the ratchet buckle.
Move the ratchet
tab up and down to
tighten the strap.
tIgHtEn rEar wHEEL Strap.
SECurE tHE Hook.
Compress the
hook against
the frame by
applying firm
pressure.
Feed the
strap through
the spokes of
wheel.
Rotate the wheel
slightly, if necessary.

Now that you’ve installed your
Yakima StickUp take a moment to
enjoy your beverage of choice.
Use the built in
bottle opener
to crack open a
cold one.
• Do not drink
alcohol and drive.
• Do not drink
alcohol and ride.
Pull Knob.
Fold mast down.
Push rear hook in securing
it underneath wheel tray.
Push front hook
in as shown.
Fold StickUp up. Be sure it
locks into upright position.
Pull Knob.

• Never drive off-road with bicycles loaded.
• Do not install on trailers, campers, or RVs.
• Do not position bicycle tires near vehicle’s hot exhaust.
• Do not install if spare tire causes interference with
bikes or folded carrier.
• Before driving away always check that all hardware has
been fully tightened.
BIkES:
• Make sure your tires are filled to recommended pressure
found on the tire.
• Do not carry tandem or recumbent bikes.
• Do not transport bicycles with attached baby seats,
panniers, wheel covers, full bike covers or motors.

Remove this rack before entering an automatic car
wash, and when not in use.
MAINTENANCE: Periodically use non-water soluble
lubricant on moving metal parts. Use a soft cloth with water
and mild detergent to clean rubber parts.
