T46G Business Phone
Placing a Call
You can place a call in three ways using your SIP-T46G IP
phone:
* Using the handset
* Using the speakerphone
* Using the headset
To place a call using the handset:
1. Pick up the handset.
2. Enter the extension # using the keypad or
3. Press 9 + number first to dial outside line
4. Press , or the soft key.
To place a call using the hands-free speakerphone mode:
With the handset on-hook, press or the line key to obtain a dial
tone. Enter the desired number using the keypad.

Answering while on another call
If you have an active call, and an incoming call arrives on the phone,
do one of the following:
* Press the Answer soft key.
The incoming call is answered and the original call is placed on hold.
* Press to access new call
* Press or the Answer soft key
Call Hold/Resume
1. Press or the Hold soft key during a call. The LCD
screen indicates that the call is on hold.
The LCD Key flashes green
Multiple Calls on Hold:
If multiple calls are placed on hold, do one of the following:
- Press or to switch between the calls, and then press the
Resume soft key to retrieve the desired call.

Call Transfer
To perform a transfer during a call:
Press the or Transfer soft key during a call
Enter the number you want to transfer the call to.
Press the or Transfer soft key to complete the transfer.
- If you are using a handset, the transfer can be completed by
hanging up the handset.

Using the Directory for a Transfer
* Press the Directory soft key. Select the desired list and
Press or to select contact .
* Press , to dial out.
After party answers, press the or Transfer soft key during a
call

Voice Mail
To configure voice mail access codes via phone user interface:.
1. Press Message button
2. Enter P.I.N (extension #)
3. Press #
* To change self-identification message -Press 5
* To change personal greeting - Press 8
To listen to General Mailbox voice mails:
1. Press 0000#
2. Dial in Extension Number (P.I.N.) of voice mailbox
To listen to the voice mails from phone:
1. When the phone user interface prompts receiving new
voice mails and the power indicator LED slow flashes red,
press or the Connect soft key to dial out the voice mail
access code.
2. Follow the voice prompt to listen to voice mails.
