II. INSTRUCTION MANUAL
a) How to launch the chime
1. Checkifthereisacompletesetinthepackage(thechime,PDH-991chimepush-buttonwithabattery,2plasticwallplugs+2screws,1
sectionofthedouble-sidedadhesivetape,impairedsealwithanoverprintonthechimebackwall).
2. Checkifvoltageinyoursocketoutletis230VAC.
3. Insertthechimeinto230VACsocketoutlet(Fig.2).
4. CheckiftheyellowLEDinthechimecasinglights.
5. Attheselectedpointplacethechimepush-buttonontothesubstrateandcheckitsoperationbymeansofpushingthepush-button.
6. Ifthechimeoperatescorrectly, fix the push-button at the previously selected place with the use of the wall plugs or the double-sided
adhesivetape.
b) The sound level adjustment
1. Remove,leveringitwiththeuseofascrewdriver,thelongitudinalcoverplacedonthechimefrontsidehorizontally.Therearethecode
switchesandthesoundleveladjustmenthandwheelunderthecover(Fig.3,4).
2. Adjustthesoundleveltoyourneedswiththehandwheel.
3. Placethechimeswitchescover.
c) Code changing
1. Allthechimeshavethesamefactorysetcode.Inordertoavoidautomaticchimestart(e.g.byyourneighbour)itisrecommendedtosetthe
user’sindividualcode.
2. Removethechimefromthesocketoutlet(Fig.2).
3. Withtheuseofascrewdriver,removetheflapoverthepush-buttonfrontpartandunscrewtwoscrewsundertheflap(Fig.5a).
4. DisassemblethecasingasshowninFig.5a.
5. Remove,leveringitwiththeuseofascrewdriver,thelongitudinalcoverplacedonthechimefrontsidehorizontally.Therearethecode
switchesandthesoundleveladjustmenthandwheelunderthecover(Fig.3).
6. Withtheuseofswitches1,2,3,4insidethechimeandthepush-buttonsetthesamecodeselectedbyyourself(Fig.4,5).
7. Placethechimeswitchesandthepush-buttoncover.
8. Insertthechimeintosocketoutlet
9. Checkthechimeoperationbymeansofpushingthepush-button.
10. Placethepush-buttoncasing,screwthescrewsandplacetheflap.
d) Sound type selection
1. Withtheuseofascrewdriver,removetheflapoverthepush-buttonfrontpartandunscrewtwoscrewsundertheflap(Fig.5a).
2. DisassemblethecasingasshowninFig.5a.
3. Withtheuseofswitches5and6insidethepush-buttonsettheselectedsoundtype.Please,remembertosettheswitchesindifferent
positions.Ifnot,thechimewillnotoperate(Fig.6).Ifyouhavetwopush-buttons,settwodifferentsoundtypesinordertorecognisewhich
onehasbeenpushed.
4. Checkthechimeoperationbymeansofpushingthepush-button.
5. Placethepush-buttoncasing,screwthescrewsandplacetheflap.
NOTE!
1. Thewirelesschimeisreadytouseafterapprox.10secondsafterinsertingintothesocketoutlet.
2. Thewirelesschimeisbeingoperatedwiththeuseofradiowaves.Therefore,ifthereareobstaclesonthesignalway(walls,metal/concrete
structures),thedeviceoperatingrangemaydecreasesignificantly.
3. Itisrecommendedtoavoidmountingthepush-buttondirectlyonametalsubstrate.
4. Ifthechimeoperatingrangeisinsufficient,youmayincreasetherangeby100m*withtheuseofRT-236retransmitterofZAMEL.Itis
recommendedtousetheretransmitterinhighvolumeroomsandcomplexshapeobjects.Ifneeded,itispossibletoincreasethenumberof
retransmittersinordertocoverthewholeobjectareaofanydimensions.
5. Ifanyautomaticchimestartsoccur,itmeansthatthereisanotherchimesystemintheneighbourhoodrunninginthesamechannel.Itis
necessarytochangethedevicecode.
6. Allthechimeshavethesamefactorysetcode.
