Installing the UIM Card and Battery
Switchoff your phone before installing or replacing the battery and UIM
card.
1. Removethebackcover.
2. Holdthe UIM card with the cut corner oriented as shown and slip it
intothecardholder.
3. Insertthebattery byaligningthegoldcontacts onthebatterywiththe
goldcontacts in the battery compartment. Gently push down on the
batteryuntilitclicksintoplace.
4. Pressthecovergentlybackintoplaceuntilyouhearaclick.
Charging the Battery
1. Plugoutrubber awayfromthejack onthebottom ofthe handsetand
connectthe leadfrom the chargerto thesocket on thebottom ofthe
phone.(Note:Thesidewitharrowshouldbeuprightwhileconnecting).
2. ConnectthechargertoastandardwallACsocket.
3. Whenthe charginganimation on the screen stops, the chargingis
completed.Thecharging takes usuallyup to2 ~ 3hours. During
charging,itisanormalphenomenon thatthebattery,phoneandchar-
germaygethot.
4. Afterthecompletion of charging,disconnect the chargerfrom the
phoneandACsocket.

Pleasehold theEnd key topower on/offthephone. Thephone willauto-
maticallysearchforthenetwork.

PUK Code:Consecutive inputting wrong PIN code for threetimes can
causelockingofUIMcard.Tounlock,youneedPUKcode.
Note:
PINcodeandPUKcodemaybeofferedtogetherwith theUIMcard.Ifnot,
pleasecontactwithnetworkoperator.
Thelimitation times for consecutive wrong code may vary with different
UIMcard.
