Installing the UIM Card and Battery
Switchoff your phone before installing or replacing the battery and UIM
card.
1. Removethebackcover.

2. Holdthe UIM card with the cut corner oriented as shown and slip it
intothecardholder.
3. Insertthebattery byaligningthegoldcontacts onthebatterywiththe
goldcontacts in the battery compartment. Gently push down on the
batteryuntilitclicksintoplace.
4. Pressthecovergentlybackintoplaceuntilyouhearaclick.
Charging the Battery
1. Plugoutrubber awayfromthejack onthebottom ofthe handsetand
connectthe leadfrom the chargerto thesocket on thebottom ofthe
phone.(Note:Thesidewitharrowshouldbeuprightwhileconnecting).
2. ConnectthechargertoastandardwallACsocket.
3. Whenthe charginganimation on the screen stops, the chargingis
completed.Thecharging takes usuallyup to2 ~ 3hours. During
charging,itisanormalphenomenon thatthebattery,phoneandchar-
germaygethot.
4. Afterthecompletion of charging,disconnect the chargerfrom the
phoneandACsocket.
Powering on/ off Your Phone
Pleasehold theEnd key topower on/offthephone. Thephone willauto-
maticallysearchforthenetwork.

PIN Code:PIN codecould preventyour UIMcard fromillegal use.When
PINlock ison, youshould enterthe PINcode whenopening thehandset
again.
PUK Code:Consecutive inputting wrong PIN code for threetimes can
causelockingofUIMcard.Tounlock,youneedPUKcode.
Note:
PINcodeandPUKcodemaybeofferedtogetherwith theUIMcard.Ifnot,
pleasecontactwithnetworkoperator.
Thelimitation times for consecutive wrong code may vary with different
UIMcard.

EndUser shallhave no rightto reject, return,or receive arefund for any
productfromZTEundertheabove-mentionedsituations.
Thiswarranty is end user ’ssole remedy and ZTE’s sole liability for de-
fectiveor nonconformingitems, andis inlieu ofall otherwarranties,
expressed,implied or statutory,including but not limited to the implied
warrantiesof merchantability and tness for a particular purpose, unless
