How to enter APN settings into your new ZTE MF920U Hotspot Router:
1) Place your Sim Card into your device and Power on. Note: Please be sure to use the correct Sim
card size for this device, which is a Micro Sim. This is not the smallest sim (nano), nor is it the largest
(mini). It is the middle-sized sim of the 3 options.
Please also be sure that the Sim Card is inserted the correct way round. A small icon is shown on the
side of the ZTE MF920U to show you which way round the small cut-out/notch of your sim should be
facing. We have placed a blue line on the sim image below to show which way round the sim cut-
out/notch should be facing.
2) On the device that you wish to connect to (eg your phone/tablet/laptop etc), search for the ZTE
hotspot under Wireless Connections/Wi-Fi. Once your device has found the ZTE hotspot, enter the
Wi-Fi Key and click connect (The Wi-Fi Key is printed on the sticker on the back of the ZTE
MF920U).

Note: If for any reason the Wi-Fi Key does not work, please press, and hold the Reset button until all
the lights on the front of the hotspot blink off and back on again, then try the Wi-Fi Key again. (The
Reset button is located next to where you placed your sim card into the hotspot).
3) Now that your device is connected to the ZTE MF920U it should automatically open the ZTE
Admin Page and ask you to login. If it does not load this page automatically, please open your
browser on your phone/tablet/laptop etc and type: 192.168.0.1 and press enter/go.
4) Once the ZTE landing page has loaded, it will ask you for a password.
5) This is printed on the sticker on the back of the ZTE hotspot. (Not to be confused with the Wi-Fi
Key)

6) From the Home Screen you will see 3 large circles named:
a) Access device
b) My router
c) Net surfing
7) Inside of the circle named 2. My Router, click Settings
8) Click on the APN arrow

9) Next to Mode click Manual and then the blue coloured Add New tab.
10)Now enter the APN Settings for your sim card (provided by email) and click Apply.

11) You will now see a message and a green tick saying: Success
12) Click the blue coloured Set as default tab.

13) Now click on the blue coloured ZTE icon.
14) Now make sure the LTE toggle is in the ON position and coloured green. You will also see a
green tick between circles 2. My router and 3. Net surfing.
