Safety
Please carefully read this user manual in its en-
tirety before using the blender. Keep this user
manual in a safe place. If you give the blender
away, be sure that you include this manual
with it.
Failure to comply with these operating instruc-
tions can lead to serious injury or damage to
the appliance. Zwilling does not accept any
liability for damage caused by a failure to
comply to these operating instructions.
Important information for your safety is specifi-
cally marked. Please be sure to observe these
instructions in order to avoid accidents and
damage to the appliance.
Safety information
The blender (hereinafter referred to as
the “appliance”) is intended exclusively for
crushing ice cubes and mixing ingredients for
beverages and blended foods (like dips,
soups, sauces, pesto, and ice cream.) and
ice cubes. It may only be used with the ac-
cessories supplied or approved by Zwilling.
Any other use is considered improper and
may result in personal injury or property
damage.
Do not put any hot fats, oils, or objects in
the appliance.
The appliance is intended for domestic
use. It is not intended for commercial use.
Certain people should use with caution:
The appliance may be used by children
age 8 and above, by people with reduced
physical, sensory, or mental capacity, and
by people with a lack of experience and
knowledge, providing such children and
individuals are supervised or have been
instructed on how to use the appliance
safely and they understand all of the possi-
ble hazards that could result from using
the appliance.
Children are not allowed to play with
the appliance. Cleaning and mainte-
nance must not be carried out by chil-
dren without supervision.
Keep the appliance and its power cord
in a location that is not accessible to
children under 8 years old.
Keep children away from the packaging
material. It poses a suffocation risk.
The appliance is operated with an elec-
tric current. There is therefore a danger
of electric shock:
Only plug the appliance into a correctly
installed socket.
Only operate the appliance if the volt-
age stated on the rating plate matches
the voltage of your socket.
Make sure that the power cord is not
kinked or pinched, and make sure that
the power cord and the appliance do
not come in contact with heat sources
(e.g. stovetops, gas flames).
When unplugging the power plug from
the socket, always unplug the power
plug directly. Do not carry the appliance
by the power cord.

Never touch the power plug with wet
hands.
Do not insert any objects into the open-
ings on the appliance.
As long as the power plug is plugged in,
there is a voltage inside the appliance,
even if the appliance is switched off.
After every use and in the event of dan-
ger or a defect, unplug the power plug
from the socket immediately. For this
reason, keep the socket into which the
appliance is plugged easily accessible
at all times.
Unplug the appliance from the socket
prior to cleaning or maintenance.
Never unscrew the appliance and do
not make any technical modifications.
The sharp and rotating blade poses a
serious risk of injury:
In the absence of supervision, discon-
nect the power plug prior to assembly,
disassembly, and cleaning.
Be very careful when filling, emptying,
and cleaning the blender jar, and do not
put your fingers between the blades.
Poor hygiene is a health hazard:
Do not leave any food in the blender jar
if you are not using the appliance.
Thoroughly clean the appliance and all
accessories prior to first use and immedi-
ately after every use.
A faulty appliance can cause damage
and injuries:
Check the appliance for damage prior
to each use. If you detect any transport
damage, immediately contact the dealer
from whom you purchased the appli-
ance. Never use a faulty appliance or
faulty accessories. Never operate an
appliance or accessories that have been
dropped.
The appliance needs to be repaired in
the event of a faulty or a damaged pow-
er cord. The appliance does not contain
any parts that you are able to repair
yourself.
Damage may occur if the appliance is
handled incorrectly.
Place the appliance on a dry, level, and
non-slip surface.
Do not place the appliance on a hot
surface or in the vicinity of powerful
heat sources.
Do not let the power cord dangle.
When preparing food and drinks, liquid
may splash or spill out and cause injury
or property damage:
Always place the blender jar on a level,
non-slip surface. Never overfill the blender
jar. Never open the lid or its stopper during
operation. Never use the blender jar to
heat up food or drink in the microwave.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic
safety precautions should always be
followed including the following:
a) Read all instructions.
b) To protect against risk of electrical shock
do not put the blender base or power
cord in water or other liquid.
c) This appliance is not intended for use
by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory, or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they are closely su-
pervised and instructed concerning use
of the appliance by a person responsi-
ble for their safety. Close supervision is
necessary when any appliance is used
by or near children. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
d) Turn the appliance OFF, then unplug
from the outlet when not in use, before
assembling or disassembling parts and
before cleaning. To unplug, grasp the
plug and pull from the outlet. Never pull
from the power cord.
e) Avoid contacting moving parts.
f) Do not operate any appliance with
a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions, or is dropped
or damaged in any manner. Contact the
manufacturer at their customer service
telephone number for information on
examination, repair, or adjustment.
g) The use of attachments, including
canning jars, not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause a risk of injury
to persons.
h) Do not use outdoors.
i) Do not let cord hang over edge of table
or counter.
j) When blending hot liquids, remove the
stopper in the lid (i.e. the measuring cup.)
k) Keep hands and utensils, other than the
tamper provided, out of container while
blending to reduce the risk of severe inju-
ry to persons or damage to the blender.
l) The lid must remain in place when blend-
ing. Only use the tamper through the
lid opening.
m) Only use a scraper when the blender
is not running.
When matching with the optional
sport bottle attachment, be reminded:
n) Blade assembly is sharp, is not locked
in place, and is removable.
o) Handle with care. When handling
blade assembly, always hold it by
the shaft.
p) Always operate the sports bottle
attachment with the blade assembly in
place. To avoid a risk of injury, carefully
remove the blade assembly before
pouring from the sports bottle.
q) Do not blend hot liquids in the sports
bottle.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
For the polarized plug:
This appliance has a polarized plug (one
prong is wider than the other). To reduce
the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit
in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Do not modify the
plug in any way.
If using any symbol such as “I O” to rep-
resent ON and OFF, this must be clearly
explained in the instruction manual.

Using the blender
Before using, completely unwind the power cord. You need to press the power button to
switch the blender on and off.

Filling with ingredients
To fill with ingredients, place the blender jar on a flat surface and remove the lid or the lid stopper.
The blender jar has a measuring scale for verifying the filling quantity.

Observe the maximum mark. Do not
overfill beyond the maximum mark. For
hot ingredients, observe a maximum
filling quantity of 1200 ml / 40 fl oz.

Preparing a beverage or blended food using the automatic program
To prepare the desired mixed drink or blended food, turn the selector switch to the left to the
corresponding program symbol, and then press the power button. The preparation duration is
shown in the display. The mixing process is complete when the display time has counted down
to 00:00 and a beep sounds.

Putting the blender jar on the base
Before you attach the blender jar, you must firmly seal the jar with the lid and its stopper. Then,
place the jar onthe base so that the handle of the jar faces the front right.

Using the multi-function (pulse) program
To prepare any mixed drinks and blended foods, turn the selector switch to the right to the multi-
function (pulse) program symbol, and press and hold the power button until the desired consist-
ency of the product is reached. The mixing time that has elapsed is shown in the display. The
mixing process stops if you let go of the power button.

Interrupting the automatic program
Press the power to stop the mixing process. A beep will sound. You can continue the mixing pro-
cess by pressing the power button again if the desired consistency has not yet been reached.
If the mixing process has been interrupt-
ed, you can also remove the blender
jar from the base to refill ingredients,
press down with the tamper, or check
the consistency.

To switch off the blender, turn the selector switch back to the on/off position, and press the
power button.

Preparing products at your own mixing speed
To select a mixing speed, turn the selector switch to the right until the blender starts up and
reaches the desired speed. Once the desired consistency of the product has been reached,
turn the selector switch back to the on/off position.

Cleaning the blender jar
To clean the blender jar, fill the jar with 500 ml / 17 fl. oz water, add some dish soap, and start
the cleaning program. Then rinse out the blender jar under running water.

Cleaning the blender lid and tamper
You can clean the blender lid and the tamper under running water, with a damp, lint-free cloth,
or in the dishwasher.
It is best to clean the
blender lid and the lid
stopper separately.
