The secure and reliable ZyAIR B-1000 Wireless
LAN Access Point delivers a cost-effective and
easy-to-use Wireless LAN solution for residential
and business applications. By using the built-in
Web-based configurator, the ZyAIR B-1000 Access
Point enables you to easily integrate your wireless
connection into your existing wired network for a
wide range of flexibility and movement.
The ZyAIR B-1000 Wireless LAN Access Point is
based on the IEEE 802.11b wireless standard. This
wireless standard, on which the security
architecture is designed, allows users to
communicate and access data with efficient link
quality and high-level network security.
With its fantastic design and powerful features
built into one compact unit, the ZyAIR B-1000
Wireless LAN Access Point enables you to surf the
Internet with complete freedom.
User-friendly Installation and Configuration
With the ZyAIR B-1000's easy-to-use installation procedure, experts
are no longer needed to pull cables through walls and ceilings,
therefore saving you time and money. Furthermore, the Web-based
configurator allows you to easily install and manage your device in

Wi-Fi certification ensures that the ZyAIR B-1000
will be interoperable with any 802.11b and Wi-Fi
compliant wireless device.
High Level of Network Access Security Based on
IEEE 802.1x and RADIUS Client
The ZyAIR B-1000 security architecture is based
on the IEEE 802.1x standard for wireless
networks. IEEE 802.1x, Port-Based Network
Access Control, is based on Extensible
Authentication Protocol services that provide
centralized, user-based authentication and single-
user, single-session encryption keys for hassle-
free security administration and user-based
privacy.
