COlinesarepublictelephonenetworklinesthatareconnected toyour2NOMEGA
LitePBXasinputs. Theyareusedforoutgoing(external)calls, i.e.callsoutsideyour
company.Theselinesinclude eithertheO2

Anyexternalsubscriberworldwide thatcalls oriscalledbyyourPBX usingaCO
line.
InternalSubscriber
Anysubscriberinside yourcompanyconnected tothe 2NOMEGALitePBX. Internal
PBX callsarefreeof charge.
PrivateNetwork
Atelephonenetworkowned byonesubjectand usedfortelephoneinterconnection
ofhis branchesandtheirsubscribers.Fromtheviewpointofthe2NOMEGALite
PBX,thereis nodifferencebetween privateand public telephone networks.

ToneandPulseDialing, ToneandPulse TelephoneSets
Twotypesoftelephonesetsareused inmanycountries-the olderpulsetelephone
setsandadvancedtonetelephone sets(whichareusuallyabletousepulsedialing
too,the dialing modeis selected byaswitch).The2NOMEGALitePBX workswith
boththetypesoftelephonesetswithoutproblems,butpulsetelephone setsoffer
lowercomfortandtype ofdialingrelated toinividualextesion and itisnecessaryto
setatypeofdiallingforaeachextensionline onthePBX.Sinceservicesare
differentineachtypeoftelephonesets,makesurewhichofthetelephone setsyou
areusing currently.Werecommend tousetonedialingtelephonesetsforbetter

The2NOMEGALitePBXallowstodefinetwointernalsubscribergroupsthatcan
behaveasif theyhad2independent(virtual)PBXs. Eachgroupcan

Internalsubscribersthat arepart of anorganizationalunit(suchasdepartment,
division, etc.). Departmentsarefullyindependentof groups.The PBXdefinesupto
6departmentswithnumbers10,20,30, 40, 50, and 60. Eachinternalsubscribercan
bepart ofoneormoredepartments, but of onegroup only.
