4. Intended use
Your ADE scale is a quality pro uct an was manufacture for use as a non-automatic scale.
The scale is use to etermine the weight an price of goo s to be weighe an is inten e for
use in supermarkets, grocery stores, retail stores, markets an similar areas of application.
To etermine the weight an price, carefully place the item to be weighe as centrally as
possible on the scale. The scale may be loa e with the maximum loa (Max) specifie on the
evice an on the nameplate. After a stable measurement result has been etermine , it can
be rea off.
The scale must not be use for ynamic weighing. If small quantities are slowly a e or
remove (e.g. filling liqui s), this can lea to incorrect measurement results.
The evice may only be use as inten e . All applications of the evice that are not mentione
in the chapter “Inten e use”, as well as non-observance of the safety instructions, are
consi ere improper use. It is the user of the evice, but not the manufacturer, who assumes
liability for any resulting amage to property or personal injury resulting from misuse.
The use of accessories other than the original accessories supplie by the manufacturer may

The eighing system may only be used for legal-for-trade eighing if it is
verified. The verification is invalid ithout a seal.
This device may not be modified ithout the manufacturer's permission.

Check the elivery contents for completeness as soon as you receive the scale. Carefully
unpack the scale an accessories an remove all packaging materials.
Inclu e in the elivery are:
- Price computing scale
- Weighing platform
- Power supply unit
- Operating manual
- Declaration of Conformity

3. Place the scale on a level, stable surface. Do not place the scale on a shaky or vibrating
table as this will cause istortion of measurement results.
4. Connect one en of the power supply to the power connector on the bottom of the scale
an the other en to the local power supply.
In this case, before connecting the supplied mains adapter to the scale,
make sure that the voltage on the nameplate matches the local po er
supply.
After the arm-up time (15 minutes), the scale is ready for use.
The arm-up time applies to every disconnection from the mains
(except battery mode).
5. Align the scale using the support feet. Make sure that the air bubble of the spirit level is
