onsliege erforderlich. Bitte machen Sie sich deshalb mit dem Inhalt vertraut und befolgen
Sie besonders die Hinweise, die den sicheren Umgang mit dem Gerät betreffen.
Änderungen im Interesse der technischen Weiterentwicklung bleiben vorbehalten; die
Gebrauchsanweisung unterliegt nicht dem Änderungsdienst.

1.5. Voraussetzungen für den sicheren Betrieb
Bitte machen Sie sich vor der Inbetriebnahme Ihres Gerätes mit dem Inhalt dieser Gebrauchs-
anweisung gründlich vertraut.
oDie richtige Bedienung der ES Ecoline OP Liege ist für den sicheren Betrieb unerlässlich.
oDie ES Ecoline OP Liege muss im Rahmen des bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauches benutzt
werden.
oDie ES Ecoline OP Liege darf nicht in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen benutzt werden.
Der Betrieb in Gegenwart von brennbaren Narkosemitteln und flüchtigen Lösungsmitteln
wie Alkohol, Benzin oder ähnlichem ist, bis auf Kleinstmengen, untersagt.
oDie ES Ecoline OP Liege darf nicht in feuchten Räumen und keinesfalls in Räumen mit
Tropf-, Schwall- oder Spritzwasser stationiert werden.
oÄnderungen und Instandsetzung an diesem OP-Stuhl dürfen nur durch vom Hersteller be-
vollmächtigtem Personal durchgeführt werden.
oDie in der Gebrauchsanweisung hervorgehobenen Sicherheitshinweise und Informationen
sind mit besonderer Aufmerksamkeit zu lesen und zu beachten.
oDie Bedienung der ES Ecoline OP Liege sollte nur durch ausgebildete oder eingewiesene
Personen erfolgen.

3. Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Die ES Ecoline Operationsliege ist für Untersuchungen und operative Eingriffe am Menschen
bestimmt. Eine andere Verwendung als die angegebene ist nicht zulässig.
oDie ES Ecoline Operationsliege ist für eine max. Last von 150 kg (EN 60601-2-46 Besonde-
re Festlegung für die Sicherheit von Operationstischen) ausgelegt.
oDie Kopfstütze ist für eine maximale Belastung von 20 kg ausgelegt.
4. Aufstellen und Inbetriebnahme
•Stellen Sie die Liege auf den dafür vorgesehenen Platz. Eventuelle Fußbodenunebenheiten
müssen mit den Stellfüßen ausgeglichen werden.
•Achten Sie auf mögliche Klemmstellen während der Auf- oder Abwärtsfahrt
•Den Fußschalter anschließen und die Kupplung mit der Sicherungsmutter sichern
•Zum Schluss die Netzleitung anschließen.
5. Bedienung der OP Liege
5.1. Betriebsbereitschaft
Der Hauptschalter befindet sich ne-
ben dem Netzkabel. Nach dem Ein-
schalter leuchtet der Schalter Grün,
die ist nun betriebsbereit.
5.1.1.Dauerbetrieb der Motoren
Die elektrischen Motoren sind für einen Kurzzeitbetrieb von maximal. 6 Minuten Dauer
ausgelegt. Eine längere Betriebszeit kann zur Überhitzung und einer dauerhaften Schädi-
gung des Transformators führen.

5.2. Höhenverstellung (100-520)
Die Höhenverstellung erfolgt über den
Fußschalter. Linke Taste aufwärts, rechte
Taste abwärts.
5.2.1. Auto Ab Taste (100-525)
Durch betätigen der optionalen Auto Ab
Taste fährt die Liege automatisch ganz
nach unten. Die Fahrt kann jederzeit
durch Betätigen einer Taste gestoppt
werden. Während der Automatikfahrt
muss die Liege durch den Operateur be-
obachtet werden.
5.3. Einstieg- und Ausstiegsposition für Patienten
Die Liege lässt sich bis auf ca. 60 cm herunterfahren, was den Einstieg und Ausstieg für
kleinere oder weniger bewegliche Personen ganz erheblich erleichtert.
5.4. Kopfstütze (241.030690)
Die Standard- Kopfstütze besteht aus
einer auswechselbaren visco- elasti-
schen Kopfmulde auf einem selbst-
nivellierenden Edelstahlgestell.
Sie kann mit dem Klemmhebel ge-
kippt und in der Längsachse verstellt
werden.
5.5. Fahrwerk (612.030300)
Das optionale Fahrwerk besteht aus vier frei rotierenden und einzeln bremsbaren Rollen.
Vor dem Verfahren der Liege unbedingt den Netzstecker ziehen.

6. Zubehör
6.1. Befestigen von Zubehörteilen an der Geräteschiene (612.05016)
Die ES Ecoline ist entlang der Liegefläche mit Geräteschienen für die Befestigung von Zu-
behörteilen wie Infusionsständer, Narkosebogen und ähnlichem ausgerüstet. Für die Be-
festigung solcher Zubehörteile den Spannkloben auf sicheren Sitz prüfen.

7. Gerätewartung
Die OP-Liege ist für den Anwender wartungsfrei.
Die sicherheitstechnischen Kontrollen der ES Ecoline OP Liege richten sich nach den vorgeschrie-
benen Kontrollen für Medizinprodukte der Klasse I in ihrer jeweils gültigen Fassung.
Achtung
Für Medizinprodukte, die direkt ans Netz anschlossen sind, sind ggf. periodische Kontrollen des
Patienten- Ableitstromes vorgeschrieben.
8. Geräteentsorgung
Die Batterie und alle elektrischen Komponenten (Motoren, Steuerung) sind als Elektroschrott den
Landesbestimmungen entsprechend fachgerecht zu entsorgen.

9. Gerätepflege / Verschmutzungsschutz
oSchutz gegen Verschmutzung .
Es wird empfohlen, das Gerät bei Gebrauch mit einer nicht sterilen handelsüblichen flüs-
sigkeitsresistenten Einmalfolie abzudecken, um es gegen Verschmutzung durch Flüssigkei-
ten, Körperflüssigkeiten oder andere ungewollte Substanzen zu schützen.
oDie ES Ecoline ist mindestens resistent gegen die üblichen Desinfektionsmittel gemäß
DGHM (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Hygiene und Mikrobiologie) Liste.

oDie ES Ecoline ist nicht sterilisierfähig
oDie Reinigung der Lackoberflächen erfolgt mit einem feuchten (nicht nassem) Tuch, bei
hartnäckigen Verschmutzungen nicht schleifende und nicht aggressive Reinigungsmittel
verwenden. Keinen Äther, Aceton oder konzentrierte Säuren für die Reinigung der Lack-
flächen benutzen.
oBei Reinigungsarbeiten ist darauf zu achten, dass kein Reinigungsmittel oder Wasser in
das Gerät eindringen kann.
oVerschmutzte Polsterflächen feucht (nicht nass) abwischen oder übliche Polsterreini-
gungsmittel benutzen.
oVor der Wiederinbetriebnahme das Gerät trocknen lassen!

3. Intended use
The medical device is intended for use as a surgical bed. Any other use of the product is not per-
mitted.
oThe medical device is designed for a maximum patient weight of 135 kg (297 lbs) (EN
60601-2-46 particular requirements for safety of operating tables). A 200 kg (440 lbs) ver-
sion is available upon request.
oThe headrest is designed for a maximum load of 20 kg (44 lbs).
oThe chair is suitable to be employed in the immediate proximity of patients.
4. Set up and installation
•Place bed in its designated position. Make sure, floor is level and even. Use adjustable
studs to level the bed.
•Check for possible pinching hazards with up and down movements.
•Connect foot switch and secure coupling with safety nut.
•Finally, connect power cord.
5. Operation of surgical bed
5.1. Main switch
The main switch is located next to
the power cord socket. After switch-
ing on a green light indicates the
product ready for operation.
5.1.1.Duty cycle (continous operation) of electric actuators
The electrical motors are designed for a duty cycle of approximately 6 minutes at full load.
Continuous operations exceeding that time period may cause overheat conditions and
permanent damage to the transformer.

5.2. Foot switch (std.) (100-520)
The up-down movement is controlled by
a foot switch.
5.2.1. Foot switch Auto down button
(100-525)
After pressing the auto down (homing)
button, the bed will move down to ist full
stopp position. Pressing any button dur-
ing movement will stop the movement at
any time.
5.3. Ingress and egress
The 60 cm low level position is a very comfortable height to get on and off the pad, even
to small handicapped or elderly patients.
5.4. Head rest (241.030690)
The standard head rest features an
exchangeable, visco elastic pad.
One central lock bolt controls both,
the length extension as well as the
self leveling tilt.
5.5. Castors (612.030300)
As an option, 4 pivoting lockable castors are available.
Make sure to pull the power cord before moving the bed out of position,.

6. Accessories
6.1. Optional side rails for accessories (612.050016)
Optional stainless steel side rails to attach certain accessories are available. Make sure to
secure blocks properly when attaching any equipment to the side rails.

7. Maintenance
The chair is maintenance-free to users and operators.
Product is subject to the regular service intervals. Refer to the current issue of local (national)
“Minimum requirements for medical products class I”.
8. Disposal of device
The battery and all electrical components must be disposed off in accordance with national appli-
cable laws and regulations.

9. Cleaning and contamination protection
oContamination protection
In order to protect the product against contamination by liquids, body liquids or other
unwanted substances it is recommended to, while in use, cover the product with a non
sterile disposable impermeable cover sheet.
oSurfaces are resistant to all commonly used disinfectants as listed in the
D G H M (Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Hygiene und Mikrobiologie) list. www.dghm.org
oDo not attempt to sterilize the SC 5010 SEK
oClean only the external surfaces of the equipment using a damp cloth. In case of heavy
stains do not use abrasive or aggressive materials other than common cleansers or deter-
gents. Do not use ether, acetone or concentrated acids.
oNo water or cleaning detergents may enter the inside of the equipment.
oTo clean soiled upholstery surfaces, use a damp cloth and/or commonly used upholstery
spray.
oBefore resuming operation, allow sufficient time to dry.
