1. FM2+/AM3+ CPUs:
Phillips screwdriver required
for installation .
2. Gently tighten screws
to secure retention hooks.
3. Carefully place heatslnk
on processor . 4.
Place clips over retention
frame hooks. 5. Flip lever
over to
secure heatsink.

Liquid cooling bracket is not
acomplete co oling soluti on .
1. Loosen in 3,2,1 ord er. 2.Lift up
socket lid and
carrier frame holder, then
remove socket protector.
Do not touch pin s in socket.
3. Hold by carrier
frame and slide down
until processor clicks
into place.
4. Carefully lower CPU in frame
holder onto socket until clicked
down. Lower socket lid.
S. Tighten in 1, 2, 3 order
until wrench clicks.

5 Read and follow installation instructions carefully. Incorrect
installation mav result in overheating or other damage to the

6. Thermal in terface mater ial is required fo r a ll AM OProcessors.
Use onlv the recommended thermal interface ma ter ia l for this
processor (see Thermal Cooling Guideline on AM O's website
for a complete list ofapproved material for the sl)(!(ific
processor Vou are usi ng ). The heauink/fan provided with vo ur

you must first dean the heatsink surface and apply new
