Deploying the Access Ramp
1. Open the rear door / tailgate.
2. For Easy-Flex-Ramp Fold the access ramp up until it
audibly engages in the vertical position.
3. Push the operating lever, to deploy the access ramp, to
the left.
4. Fold the access ramp out and lower it to the ground.
Caution! Keep hold of the access ramp until it is
fully in contact with the ground. Allow the access
ramp to deploy slowly.
Loading a Passenger / Wheelchair
1. Fold the vehicle's rear seats to the stowed position.
2. Fold the seat retainers down.
3. Accompany the wheelchair to a position in front of the
access ramp.
4. Select the ON/OFF switch to "I".
5. Pull the electrically operated belts out to the wheelchair.
6. attach the electrically operated belts to the wheelchair.
7. Select the ON/OFF switch to "0".
Warning! The wheelchair can run backwards out
of control if the ON/OFF switch is selected to "I".
The passenger in the wheelchair can suffer injury.
Select the ON/OFF switch to "0". Push or drive the
wheelchair up the access ramp only when this
has been done.
8. Push or drive the wheelchair into the vehicle.
9. Switch the motor of an electrically driven wheelchair OFF.
Securing the Passenger and Wheelchair in the
Vehicle
1. Attach the retractor belts to the wheelchair.
2. Clip the retractor belts onto the fittings in the rear area
of the floor of the vehicle.
3. Tension the retractor belts by tightening the belt reels.
4. Apply the wheelchair's brake(s).
5. Secure the passenger in the wheelchair using the
wheelchair and passenger restraint systems provided.
Observe the relevant brief operating instructions when
doing so.
6. Fold the access ramp up until it audibly engages in the
vertical position.
7. Close the rear door / tailgate.
Disembarking a Passenger / Unloading a
Wheelchair
1. Open the rear door / tailgate.
2. Fold the access ramp out and slowly until it is in contact
with the ground.
3. Release the retractor belt reels.
4. Disconnect the retractors from the fittings.
5. Detach the retractor belts from the wheelchair.
6. Switch the motor of an electrically driven wheelchair ON.
7. Release the wheelchair's brake(s).
Warning! The wheelchair can roll backwards out
of control. The passenger in the wheelchair can
suffer injury. Stand behind the wheelchair to
prevent it from rolling backwards. Only then,
select the ON/OFF switch to "I".
8. Select the ON/OFF switch to "I".
9. Accompany the wheelchair down from the access ramp.
10. Detach the electrically operated belts from the
wheelchair.
11. Attach the electrically operated belts to the belt locks on
both sides of the vehicle.
12. Select the ON/OFF switch to "0".
13. Fold the access ramp up until it audibly engages in the
vertical position.
14. Close the rear door / tailgate
