INTRODUCTION

Page 2of 9
This documentation is for replacing the original cable with a cable that can withstand higher
current and heat loads.
These products have been designed and manufactured according to all applicable regulations. On
parts that come from other suppliers / manufacturers I have received the current ROHS and
other specifications and can prove this status 2021. However, I must rely on the accuracy of the
certificates and manufacturing processes as they are not under my control.
SCOPE
This cable and board set are designed and manufactured for the 3D printer Anycubic® Kobra.
Since the housing must be opened, the manufacturer's warranty is void!
SAFETY AND WARNINGS
!!!! IMPORTANT!!!!
Damage caused by non-observance of the installation instructions invalidates the warranty. We reject
any liability for consequential damage resulting from this.
Note (circuit board / cable set)
These items were warned ex works to be in perfect condition with regard to safety. To maintain
this condition and to ensure safe operation, the user must observe the safety instructions and
warning notes contained in these instructions!

Warnings:
•The module may only be operated at the voltage specified for it.
•For devices with an operating voltage ≥ 35 volts, the final assembly may only be carried
out by a specialist in compliance with the VDE regulations.
•The operating position of the device is arbitrary.
•The permissible ambient temperature (room temperature) must not fall below or exceed
10°C and 70°C during operation.
•The device is intended for use in dry and clean rooms.
•If condensation forms, wait for an acclimatization period of up to 2 hours.
•Operation of the device outdoors or in damp rooms is not permitted!
•The device must be kept away from flower vases, bathtubs, washstands and all liquids.
•Protect this board from moisture, splash water and heat!
•The device must not be used in connection with easily flammable and combustible liquids!
•Assemblies and components do not belong in children's hands!
•The assemblies may only be put into operation under the supervision of a competent adult
or a specialist!
•In commercial facilities, the accident prevention regulations of the German Federation of
Institutions for Statutory Accident Insurance and Prevention (Verband der gewerblichen
Berufsgenossenschaften) for electrical systems and equipment must be observed.
•In schools, training facilities, hobby and do-it-yourself workshops, the operation of
assemblies must be responsibly supervised by trained personnel.
•Do not operate the module in an environment where flammable gases, vapors or dusts are
present or may be present.
•If the device ever needs to be repaired, only original spare parts may be used! The use of
deviating spare parts can lead to serious damage to property and personal injury!
•A repair of the device may only be carried out by a specialist!
•The device must always be disconnected from the supply voltage after use!
•If any liquid penetrates into the device, it could be damaged. If you have spilled any
liquids in, or over the assembly, the device must be checked by a qualified specialist.
Intended use
The intended use of the device is exclusively the Anycubic® Kobra 3D printers.
Any other use than specified is not permitted!
Safety instructions
When handling products that come into contact with electrical voltage, the applicable VDE
regulations must be observed, in particular VDE 0100, VDE 0550/0551, VDE 0700, VDE 0711 and
VDE 0860. Always disconnect the power plug before opening a device or ensure that the device is
de-energized.
•Things like tools may only be used on devices, components or assemblies if it is ensured
that the devices are disconnected from the supply voltage and that electrical charges
stored in the components located in the device have been discharged beforehand.
•Live cables or lines to which the device, component or assembly is connected must always
be inspected for insulation faults or breaks. If a fault is found in the supply line, the
device must be taken out of operation immediately until the defective line has been
replaced.
•When components or assemblies are used, attention must always be drawn to strict
compliance with the characteristic data for electrical variables specified in the associated
description.
•If it is not clear for the non-commercial end user from an existing description which
electrical characteristic values apply to a component or an assembly, how external wiring
is to be carried out or which external components or additional devices may be connected
and which connection values these external components may have, an expert must always
be consulted for information.

Page 4of 9
•Before commissioning a device, it must generally be checked whether this device or the
assembly is fundamentally suitable for the application for which it is to be used! In case of
doubt, it is absolutely necessary to consult specialists, experts or the manufacturers of the
assemblies used!
•Please note that operating and connection errors are beyond our control. Understandably,
we cannot accept any liability for damage resulting from them.
•In case of malfunction, this kit should be returned with an exact description of the error
(indicating what is not working... because only an exact description of the error allows a
proper repair!) and the corresponding assembly instructions as well as without the case.
Time-consuming assemblies or disassemblies of housings have to be charged additionally
for understandable reasons. Already assembled kits are excluded from exchange. When
installing and handling mains voltage, it is essential to observe the VDE regulations.
•Devices that are operated at a voltage ≥ 35 V may only be connected by a specialist.
•Always check whether the kit is suitable or can be used for the respective application and
place of use.
•In principle, commissioning may only take place if the circuit is installed in a housing
absolutely safe to touch.
•If measurements are unavoidable when the housing is open, an isolating transformer
must be connected in between for safety reasons, or, as already mentioned, the voltage
must be supplied via a suitable power supply unit (which complies with the safety
regulations).
•All wiring work may only be carried out in a de-energized state.
