Keep away from children – appliance is
not a toy!
Children should be supervised in order
to ensure that they do not play with the
device.
This appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and per-
sons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and un-
derstand the hazards involved. Children
shall not play with the appliance. Clean-
ing and user maintenance shall not be

made by children without supervision.
Never use the product without the lint
container or the slide attachment in place.
Do not touch the crop blades while the
remover is switched on!
Never use it with damaged crop blades.
Never put any strong pressure onto the crop
blades while in use.
The blade is sharp – please take proper
care, otherwise there is a risk of injury.
Do not oil or grease the crop blades!
Your clothes could get dirty!
Battery Safety Instructions

recharge nonrechargeable

batteries, short-circuit and/or open bat-
teries. This can cause them to overheat,
burn or burst. Never throw batteries into
fire or water. The batteries may explode.
Switch the appliance
to the “OFF” position before inserting
the battery.
Use only the battery type recommended
for this appliance.
Insert the battery correctly into the bat-
tery compartment, observing the correct
polarity (+ and –).
Check battery regularly for signs of expiry.
If you disregard these instructions and
advice, the battery may discharge beyond
its minimum voltage, thus increasing the

chance of leakage. If the battery leaks,
remove it from the device immediately to
prevent the device from being damaged!
Check regularly that the batteries are not
leaking.
Leaked or damaged batteries can
cause chemical burns if they come
into contact with the skin; in such cases you
must wear suitable protective gloves.
Remove battery if appliance is not used
for long periods.
Alkaline battery recommended.
Do not use rechargeable batteries.
An exhausted battery is to be removed
from the appliance.
The supply terminals are not to be short-
circuited.

Q Inserting the battery
j Press against the marking on the narrow side of the battery
compartment cover 3until you feel a resistance. This re-
leases the tabs from their openings.
j Pull off the battery compartment cover 3.
j Insert a 1.5 V type C battery (see Fig. B).
Note: Insert the battery into the battery compartment and
ensure that the polarity is correct. To do so, please refer to
the picture in the battery compartment.
j Close the battery compartment by pressing the battery
compartment cover 3carefully on to the battery compart-
ment again until you hear and feel the two tabs engage.
Q How to put it into operation
j Put the garment onto an even and clean surface.
j Take off the protective cap 8.
j Switch the device on by sliding the ON/ OFF switch 1
into position “I” and guide the gliding part 7using
repeated, light, circular movements over the surface of
the item of clothing.
j Always make sure not to apply pressure. In that way the fur
and knots are shaven off and are kept in the fur container.

Note: We recommend that you do not operate the device
for more than about 2minutes in one session.
Q Cleaning, care & storage
j Before cleaning the device always switch it off, pull off the
protective cap 8and screw off the gliding part 7, open
the battery compartment cover 3and remove the battery
2and the cleaning brush 4from the battery compart-
ment cover.
ATTENTION: When removing fur remains be careful
not to damage the crop blades 6.
j The fluff container 5should be emptied regularly!
1. Fluff container 5: Pull off the fluff container 5in the di-
rection of the “OPEN” arrow (see Fig. C)
and empty it. The fluff container 5
should never be more than 3/4 full.
2. Crop blades 6: Pull off the crop blades 6carefully.
Wipe away or brush out any fur
remains.

Never put appliance in water for cleaning.
j Only clean with a damp cloth.
j Keep the appliance dry.
jTo store the device, always put on the protective cap 8.
Q Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials,
which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
To help protect the environment, please dispose of
the product properly when it has reached the end of
its useful life and not in the household waste. Infor-
mation on collection points and their opening hours
can be obtained from your local authority.
Faulty or used batteries must be recycled in accordance with
Directive 2006/ 66/EC. Please return the batteries and /or
the device to the available collection points.
