When all the water inside the water tank is dispensed, the indicator light ( ) and the indicator light of the
strong coffee button ( ) start flashing.
- Empty the water tank from the remaining solution.
- Rinse the water tank.
- Fill the water tank with fresh still water up to the MAX level (Fig. 6).
When the appliance reaches the right amount of water into the water tank, the indicator light ( ) automat-
ically turns off.
The descaling process starts again. After several washing cycles and breaks, the descaling process is over
and the appliance automatically turns off.
If the indicator light ( ) still turns on steady, repeat the descaling process.
DECOMMISSIONING
When decommissioning the appliance, unplug the power cord from the power outlet, empty and clean the
water tank, the water collection tray, the drip tray and the cup-holder grid (see paragraph “Cleaning and
maintenance of the appliance").
Should the appliance be disposed of, separate the various materials used in the construction of the appliance
and dispose of them according to their composition and the legal provisions in force in the country of use.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Warning!
In case of dysfunctions, immediately turn off the appliance and unplug the power cord from the power
outlet.
PROBLEMS CAUSES SOLUTIONS
The appliance is not
dispensing hot water.
Air has probably entered the
circuit and this has deactivated
the pump.
Check the water tank (B) is properly installed and the
water level does not fall below the minimum level indicated
on the tank.
The outlet hole of the steam/hot
water wand (M) is clogged.
Use the provided needle to remove any scale deposits
from the spout of the steam/hot water wand.
The appliance is not
delivering steam.
There is little water and the pump
suction does not work.
Check the water level in the tank is correct. If needed, fill
the tank with fresh water up to the MAX level.
The outlet hole of the steam/hot
water wand (M) is clogged.
Use the provided needle to remove any scale deposits
from the spout of the steam/hot water wand.
The appliance does
not work.
The plug of the appliance power
cord is not connected to the
power outlet.
Plug the power cord into the power outlet and turn on the
appliance.
Check the power cord and plug condition.
The appliance
does not respond
to commands or
responds late.
The appliance undergoes
electromagnetic interference.
Unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
Wait for a few minutes, then plug again the appliance into
the power outlet.
Press the power button (S) to turn on the appliance again.
The display is dirty. Clean the display using a non-abrasive cloth.
Coffee is too watery
and cold.
Coffee grinding is too
coarse. Try using a finer grinding level.
If this is the first coffee you are
making, the brewer might be
cold.
Perform the manual cleaning cycle of the coffee circuit
(see paragraph “Manual cleaning cycle of the coffee
circuit”) for at least three times before making coffee.
The cup used is cold.
