Introductie
Als u deze gebruiksaanwijzing doorleest,
bent u snel op de hoogte van alle
mogelijkheden die dit toestel u biedt. U vindt
informatie voor uw veiligheid en over het
onderhoud van het toestel. Verder vindt u
milieutips en aanwijzingen om energie te
besparen.
Bewaar de gebruiksaanwijzing en het
installatievoorschrift. Een eventueel volgende
gebruiker van dit toestel kan daar zijn
voordeel mee doen.

*Controleer bij het maken van de elektrische
aansluitingen of het voltage van het
elektriciteitsnet overeenkomt met het
voltage op het typeplaatje aan de
binnenzijde van de afzuigkap.
*Wanneer het apparaat niet is uitgerust met
een aansluitsnoer met stekker, dan mag
alleen een erkend installateur het toestel op
het lichtnet aansluiten.
*Wilt u een vaste aansluiting maken, zorg er
dan voor dat er een omnipolaire schakelaar
met een contactafstand van minimaal 3 mm
in de aansluitkabel wordt aangebracht.
*Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat altijd van het
elektriciteitsnet is afgesloten voordat u het
apparaat gaat reinigen of onderhouden.
*Nooit flamberen onder of bij een afzuigkap.
*Zorg er tijdens het bakken en braden voor
dat de olie of het vet geen vlam vatten.
Reeds gebruikte olie is in dit opzicht extra
gevaarlijk. Gebruik geen open elektrische
grills.
*Neem bij het reinigen van de vetfilters en
het verwijderen van vetresten uit het
apparaat de gebruiksvoorschriften in acht
om een mogelijk brandgevaar te vermijden.
Veiligheid
*De afstand tussen de kookplaat en het
onderste gedeelte van de afzuigkap dient
minimaal 65 cm te bedragen.
*De uitlaatopening mag in geen geval worden
aangesloten aan een afvoerkanaal dat ook
wordt gebruikt voor het afvoeren van
uitlaatgassen van apparaten die worden
aangedreven door een andere vorm van
energie dan elektriciteit (centrale
verwarmingssystemen, thermosifons,
geisers enz.).
*Bij het installeren van de luchtafvoer
moeten altijd de geldende voorschriften van
de bevoegde instanties worden nageleefd.
*Wees voorzichtig indien de afzuigkap en een
andere warmtebron (b.v. gas-, olie-,
kolenfornuis enz.) die ook lucht nodig heeft
gelijktijdig in dezelfde ruimte worden
gebruikt. Het is namelijk mogelijk dat de
afzuigkap de benodigde verbrandingslucht
afzuigt en daardoor in de ruimte een
onderdruk veroorzaakt.
Om ervoor te zorgen dat de uitlaatgassen
van de warmtebron niet de ruimte worden
ingezogen, bedraagt de maximaal
toegestane onderdruk in de ruimte 0,04
mbar. Bovendien moet in de ruimte een
luchttoevoer aanwezig zijn waardoor
voortdurend een constante stroom verse
lucht in de ruimte wordt geleid.
*Op grond van zijn technische specificaties
valt dit apparaat onder isolatieklasse II. Het
apparaat mag derhalve niet worden geaard.
*Controleer vervolgens of schroef A
(fig. 9 en 10) werkelijk helemaal is
losgeschroefd, zodat de interne klep de
lucht via de openingen aan de voorzijde
naar de ruimte kan terugleiden.
*Trek de twee metalen pallen omhoog
(fig. 9C en 10C) en plaats het koolstoffilter
op het vetrooster (fig. 2F, 9F en 10F).
Plaats vervolgens de twee pallen terug.
Onderhoud
Het zorgvuldig reinigen en onderhouden van
het apparaat zorgt voor een correcte en
duurzame werking.
*Gebruik lauw water en een mild vloeibaar
reinigingsmiddel voor het reinigen van
gelakte oppervlakken. Gebruik nooit
schurende reinigingsmiddelen of -producten
(Vim, staalwol, groene schuursponzen,
vloeibare schuurmiddelen).
*Gebruik nooit bijtende of agressieve
middelen voor het reinigen van apparaten
van staal, koper of messing.
Het is aan te bevelen om speciale middelen
te gebruiken die aan de voorschriften van
de producent voldoen.
Afvoersystemen
De afzuigkap kan op twee manieren worden
aangesloten:
*Op een afvoerkanaal (fig. 1), de aangezogen
kookdampen worden rechtstreeks via een
afvoerkanaal naar buiten afgevoerd
(door het plafond en/of een muur), waarvoor
de openingen aan de bovenzijde en/of de
achterzijde van het apparaat worden
gebruikt.
*Als circulatiekap (fig. 2). De kookdampen
worden gezuiverd d.m.v. een koolstoffilter
en vervolgens via de openingen aan de
voorzijde naar de ruimte teruggeleid.
Let op: Bij gebruik als circulatiekap is het
absoluut noodzakelijk dat er een
koolstoffilter wordt gebruikt, terwijl dit bij
aansluiting op een afvoerkanaal niet
noodzakelijk is.
Omstellen van afvoer- naar
circulatieversie
Het ombouwen kan binnenin het apparaat
gebeuren:
*Verwijder het vetrooster door het, met
behulp van de knoppen, naar de achterzijde
van het toestel te duwen tot het loskomt.
U kunt het rooster daarna naar beneden
trekken. Om het helemaal te verwijderen
draait u het naar een zijde, terwijl u de
andere zijde op zijn plaats houdt (fig. 3).

*Nadat het apparaat op zijn plaats is
gehangen, kan het stevig aan de muur
worden bevestigd d.m.v. de twee andere
schroeven en de gaten die eronder zijn
voorgeboord (fig. 5B). Om beschadiging van
het apparaat te voorkomen, dient u alleen
de twee reeds voorgeboorde gaten te
gebruiken.
*Maak vervolgens de elektrische
aansluitingen.
Montage van de toren (indien aanwezig)
Met het uitschuifbare deel aan het uiteinde
van de toren kunt u de hoogte van de toren
instellen. Houdt u wel rekening met de
toegestane toleranties (615- 1210 mm,
zie figuur 11).
*Teken de plaats voor profiel A af met behulp
van de toren (fig 11).
*Bevestig profiel A aan het plafond en de
muur met de twee bijgeleverde schroeven.
*Bevestig de afvoerbuis.
*Bevestig de toren aan de zijkanten van het
profiel en aan de beugels (B) op de
afzuigkap met de bijgeleverde schroeven.
Montage aan een keukenkastje
* Gebruik de juiste boormal, boor vier gaten
in de onderzijde van het keukenkastje en
zaag het ventilatiegat (als het toestel wordt
aangesloten op een afvoerkanaal).
* Terwijl u de afzuigkap tegen de onderzijde
van de kast houdt, bevestigt u hem m.b.v.
de vier meegeleverde schroeven (fig. 6).
*Maak vervolgens de elektrische
aansluitingen.
Belangrijk:
Controleer de positie van schroef A
(fig. 9 en 10). Bij aansluiting op een
afvoerkanaal moet schroef A vast
aangedraaid zijn; bij de recirculatieversie
dient de schroef helemaal losgedraaid te zijn,
zodat de afgezogen lucht via de bovenste
openingen kan ontsnappen.

Koolstoffilter/vetfilter vervangen
Als u de afzuigkap als circulatiekap gebruikt
moet u, afhankelijk van het gebruik, minimaal
2 maal per jaar het koolstoffilter vervangen.
*Verwijder het vetrooster zoals beschreven
bij “Omstellen van afvoer- naar circulatie-
versie”.
*Trek de twee metalen pallen omhoog
(fig. 9C en 10C).
* Verwijder het koolstoffilter (fig. 9F en 10F).
* Het vetfilter dient al naar gelang het
gebruik van de afzuigkap te worden
vervangen. Indien het filter van metaal is,
kan het met de hand worden gereinigd
m.b.v. een mild reinigingsmiddel of in de
afwasmachine.
Lampen vervangen
Om de gloeilamp(en) te kunnen bereiken,
verwijdert u eerst op de eerder beschreven
wijze het vetrooster en vervolgens de
gloeilamp(en). Vervang de lampen door
exemplaren van hetzelfde type.
Installatie
Voordat u het apparaat monteert, moet het
vetrooster worden verwijderd.
Indien u het apparaat op een afvoerkanaal
wilt aansluiten, sluit u een van de beide
afvoeruitlaten aan het afvoerkanaal naar
buiten aan en sluit u de andere opening af
m.b.v. de meegeleverde kap (fig. 4).
Bij gebruik als circulatiekap dienen beide
afvoeruitlaten van het apparaat met de
meegeleverde kappen te worden afgesloten.
De volgende werkzaamheden moeten worden
uitgevoerd, voordat het apparaat wordt
geïnstalleerd:
*Er moet een goede bedrading worden
aangelegd.
*Indien uw toestel wordt aangesloten op
een afvoerkanaal, dient er eerst een
ventilatiegat te worden gemaakt en een
geschikte pijp te worden aangeschaft om
het afvoerkanaal aan de flens van de
afzuigkap te kunnen aansluiten.
Wandmontage
*Gebruik de juiste boormal en monteer de
meegeleverde pluggen in de muur. Schroef
hierin twee van de meegeleverde
schroeven, zodat het apparaat m.b.v. de
speciaal hiervoor bedoelde gaten aan de
schroeven kan worden gehangen (fig. 5A).

Wat garandeert Atag
De onderstaande garantievoorwaarden zijn
alleen geldig in landen met een Atag vesti-
ging. In de overige landen kan uw Atag–
importeur of uw leverancier u informatie
geven over de Atag Garantie en service-
voorwaarden.
Omvang van de garantie:
Op dit apparaat geeft Atag u:
- 5 jaar onderdelengarantie
- 1 jaar gratis service
De garantie op Atag keukenapparatuur is
alleen geldig indien het toestel voor huishou-
delijk gebruik is geïnstalleerd en in gebruik is
voor doeleinden waarvoor het is
geconstrueerd.
De garantieperiode gaat in op de datum van
aflevering. Deze datum moet u op verzoek
kunnen aantonen, bijvoorbeeld met een afle-
veringsbon of aankoopnota.
Onderdelen die defect zijn geraakt door
materiaal-, constructie-, of fabricagefouten,
worden gedurende een periode van 5 jaar
gratis geruild.
Tijdens het eerste jaar ontvangt u ook gratis
service. Dat wil zeggen dat bij reparaties
geen administratiekosten, voorrijkosten en
arbeidsloon in rekening worden gebracht.
Bij het verzenden van gratis onderdelen wor-
den gedurende het eerste jaar geen verzend-
kosten in rekening gebracht.
Buiten de garantie vallen:
Transportschade:
Controleer uw nieuwe apparatuur voordat u
deze in gebruik neemt. Neem contact op met
uw leverancier als u beschadigingen aan-
treft.
Installatiefouten:
Defecten en schaden die het gevolg zijn van
een installatiefout vallen buiten de garantie.
Bijvoorbeeld onvoldoende ventilatie van het
toestel of een foutieve elektrische aan-
sluiting. Ook gebreken die ontstaan omdat er
wijzigingen aan de apparatuur zijn aange-
bracht, zijn van garantie uitgesloten.
Gebruiksfouten en verkeerd of onvoldoende
onderhoud:
Dit geldt bijvoorbeeld voor glasbreuk en
emailleschaden welke ontstaan door stoten
of vallen van voorwerpen op of tegen de
apparatuur. Door onvoldoende of verkeerd
onderhoud kunnen verkleuringen aan opper-
vlakten ontstaan en rubbers en kunststoffen
snel verouderen. Ook dit valt niet onder de
garantie.
Gebruiksslijtage of veroudering:
Voorbeelden hiervan zijn defect geraakte
lampen, verkleuringen van kunststof of gelak-
te delen en krassen op de apparatuur.
Tot wie kunt u zich wenden:
In de landen waar Atag een vertegenwoor-
diging heeft, kunt u zich tot deze wenden als
u een beroep wilt doen op de Atag
Servicedienst. In de overige landen neemt u
contact op met uw leverancier.
Afvoeren verpakking en toestel
De verpakking van het toestel is recyclebaar.
Gebruikt zijn:
- karton
- poly-ethyleenfolie (PE)
- CFK-vrij polystyreen (PS-hard-schuim)
Deze materialen op verantwoorde wijze en
conform de overheidsbepalingen afvoeren.
De overheid kan u ook informatie verschaffen
over het op verantwoorde wijze afvoeren van
afgedankte huishoudelijke apparaten.

Filtering/Discharging conversion:
The conversion can be done inside the
appliance:
*To remove the anti-grease grille, push it
towards the rear of the appliance until it
releases using the knobs, then pull it
downwards. To remove it completely rotate
it to one side while keeping the other side
steady (fig. 3).
*Check to ensure that screw A (fig. 9 and 10)
is completely unscrewed so that the internal
valve allows the air to be recirculated into
the room via the front openings.
*Lift the two metallic stoppers (fig. 9C and
10C). Insert the active charcoal fibre panel
(fig. 2F, 9F and 10F) and replace the two
stoppers.
Maintenance
The thorough cleaning and servicing of the
appliance ensures correct and long-lasting
operation:
*Use lukewarm water and a neutral liquid
detergent to clean varnished appliances.
Never use abrasive cleaning materials or
products (Vim, steel wool, green scouring
pads, liquid scouring agents).
*Never use corrosive or abrasive products
when cleaning steel copper or brass
appliances. It is recommended that
specialized products be used in accordance
with the instructions issued by the
manufacturer.
*When frying take special care to prevent
oils and fats from catching fire. Oil which
has already been used is especially
dangerous in this respect. Do not use
exposed electric grills.
*To avoid possible risk of fire always comply
with the instructions for use when cleaning
anti-grease filters and when removing
grease deposits from the appliance.
Extraction systems
The cooker hoods can be connected in one of
two ways:
In the Discharge mode (fig. 1) cooking
vapours and/or odours are immediately
discharged outside (via the ceiling and/or a
wall) by a discharge duct using the holes
positioned on the top and/or at the back of
the appliance.
In the Filtering mode (fig. 2) cooking vapours
and/or odours are purified by a carbon filter
and recirculated into the room via the front
openings.
Warning: For the filtering mode it is
absolutely essential to use the carbon filter
whereas for Discharging mode it is not.

The following warning applies only in the
United Kingdom:
It is possible that the colours of the wires in
the mains cable of this appliance may not
correspond with the coloured markings
identifying the terminals in your plug.
If this is the case, proceed as follows:
*The blue wire must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter N or
coloured black;
*The brown wire must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter L or
coloured red;
*Neither wire is to be connected to the earth
terminal of a three-pin plug.
*When making the electrical connections
check that the voltage corresponds with
that indicated on the rating plate inside the
extractor hood.
*In the event that your appliance is not fitted
with a non-separating flexible cable and has
no plug, or has no other device to ensure
omnipolar disconnection from the electrical
main with a contact opening of at least
3 mm, such a separating device must be
included in the fixed installation to ensure
disconnection from the main.
*Always disconnect this appliance from the
main before cleaning or servicing the
appliance.
Safety instructions
*The distance between the hob and the lower
part of the extractor hood must be at least
65cm.
*Under no circumstances should the outlet
be connected to a duct which is also being
used to discharge exhaust gas from
appliances fuelled by an energy source
other than electricity (central heating
systems, thermosiphons, water
heaters, etc.).
*When installing the discharge outlet always
comply with the regulations in force as
issued by the relevant authorities.
*Caution is needed if an extractor hood and
another heat source (e.g. gas, oil, coal
stoves, etc.) which also requires air are
being used together in the same room, since
it is possible that the extractor hood may
deplete the necessary combustion air and
thus create a depression in the room.
In order to ensure that the exhaust gas from
the heat source is not drawn into the room,
the maximum depression permitted in the
room is 0.04 mbar. There must also be an air
source in the room which constantly feeds
the room with a steady flow of fresh air.
*The technical specifications of this
appliance mean that it falls under category
II insulation. Therefore it must not be
earthed.

*Finally make the electrical connections.
Mounting the chimney (when present)
The adjustable section at the top end of the
chimney allows you to set the correct height.
Take into account the maximum tolerances
(615 - 1210 mm).
*Draw the location of the profile A by copying
the shape of the chimney (fig 11).
*Attach profile A to the ceiling and the wall
using thetwo screws provided.
*Attach the outlet pipe.
*Attach the chimney to the sides of the
profile and the to the fixing brackets (B)
on top of the hood using the screws
provided (fig. 11).
Wall cupboard fitting
*Using the appropriate drilling jig drill four
holes in the base of the wall cupboard and
cut the ventilation hole if the extractor is to
be used in Discharging mode (if the
appliance is to be used in Filtering mode
this hole is not necessary).
*Holding the extractor hood against the base
of the cupboard secure it in place using the
four screws supplied (fig. 6).
*Then make the electrical connections.
Important:
Check the position of screw A (fig. 9 and 10).
For the Discharging mode screw A must be
screwed tight; for the Filtering version the
screw must be completely loose to allow the
extracted air to escape via the top openings.

Changing the carbon filter/
anti-grease filter
If the extractor hood is used in filtering mode
it is necessary for the active charcoal fibre
panel (fig. 1F and 9F) to be replaced
approximately every six months according to
use.
*Remove the anti-grease grill as described
under “Filtering/discharging conversion”.
*Lift the two metallic stops (fig. 9C and 10C).
*Remove the carbon filter panel
(fig. 9F and 10F).
*The anti-grease panel must be changed
according to use. If the panel is a metallic
one it can be cleaned by hand with neutral
detergent or in a dishwasher.
Changing the light bulbs
To gain access to the light bulb(s) remove the
anti-grease grille as described above and
remove the bulb(s). Replace with light bulbs
of the same type.
Installation
Before assembling the appliance it is
necessary to remove the anti-grease grille.
To install the appliance for the Discharging
mode, connect one of the two discharge
outlets to the external duct and seal off the
other opening with the cap supplied (fig. 4.).
For the Filtering mode both of the discharge
outlets of the appliance must be closed off
using the caps supplied.
The following procedures must be carried out
before installing the appliance:
*A proper wiring system must be installed.
*If your appliance is to be installed in
Discharging mode, the ventilation hole must
first be made and a proper pipe obtained to
connect the vent to the flange of the
extractor hood.
Wall fitting
*Using the appropriate drilling jig, insert the
blocks supplied into the wall. Then insert
two of the screws supplied so that the
appliance can be hooked onto the screws
by the holes specially provided (fig 5A).
*Once the appliance is hooked in place it can
be firmly secured to the wall using the other
two screws and the holes provided
underneath (fig. 5B). To avoid damaging the
appliance only use the holes already
created.

Atag’s guarantee
The guarantee conditions listed below are
only valid in countries with an Atag
establishment. In other countries, your
supplier or Atag importer can provide you
with information about the Atag guarantee-
and service conditions.
Scope of the terms of guarantee:
ATAG warrants this appliance for the
following guarantee periods:
- 5-year guarantee on parts
- 1-year service guarantee
The guarantee on ATAG kitchen appliances is
valid only if the appliance has been installed
for household use and is used only for the
purposes for which it was designed.
The guarantee period is effective from the
date of delivery of the appliance. Evidence of
the date of delivery must be provided upon
request, for example with a delivery slip or
sales receipt.
Parts which malfunction as a result of
material, construction or factory errors will
be replaced free of charge for a period of five
years effective from the date of delivery.
During the first year starting from the date of
delivery, Atag also provides free service. This

*Lever les deux bouchons métalliques
(fig. 9C et 10C) et insérer le filtre à charbon
actif (fig. 2F, 9F et 10F). Replacer les deux
bouchons.
Entretien
Le nettoyage approfondi et l'entretien de
l'appareil garantissent une utilisation
correcte et durable.
*Utiliser de l'eau tiède et un détergent liquide
neutre pour nettoyer les appareils vernis.
Ne jamais utiliser de matériaux ou produits
de nettoyage abrasifs (Vim, tampons
métalliques, tampons à récurer verts,
agents à récurer liquides).
*Ne jamais utiliser de produits corrosifs ou
abrasifs pour nettoyer des appareils en
cuivre ou laiton.
Il est recommandé d'utiliser les produits
spécialisés en observant les prescriptions
du fabricant.
Systèmes d'évacuation
Les hottes peuvent être raccordées de
2 façons:
*En mode Evacuation (fig. 1), les odeurs et/ou
vapeurs de cuisson sont immédiatement
rejetées à l'extérieur (via le plafond et/ou un
mur) par une conduite d'évacuation utilisant
les trous placés sur le haut et/ou au dos de
l'appareil.
*En mode Recyclage (fig. 2), les odeurs et/ou
vapeurs de cuisson sont purifiées par un
filtre à charbon actif et remises en
circulation dans la pièce par les ouvertures
sur le devant.
Attention: Pour le mode Recyclage, il est
absolument essentiel d'utiliser le filtre à
charbon actif spécial tandis que ce n'est
pas nécessaire pour le mode Evacuation.
Conversion recyclage/évacuation
La conversion peut s'opérer à l'intérieur de
l'appareil.
*Pour enlever la grille, la pousser vers
l'arrière de l'appareil jusqu'à ce qu'elle se
dégage en utilisant les boutons, puis la tirer
vers le bas. Pour l'enlever complètement, la
faire tourner d'un côté tout en maintenant
l'autre côté en position (fig. 3).
*Vérifier pour s'assurer que la vis A
(fig. 9 et 10) est tout à fait dévissée de façon
à ce que la valve interne permette à l'air
d'être remis en circulation dans la pièce via
les ouvertures frontales.

*En faisant les connexions électriques,
vérifier que le voltage correspond à celui
indiqué sur la plaque signalétique à
l'intérieur de la hotte aspirante.
*Dans le cas où votre appareil n'est pas
équipé d'un câble souple de non-séparation
et n'a pas de connecteur, ou n'a pas d'autre
dispositif pour assurer une coupure
omnipolaire par rapport aux canalisations
électriques avec une distance d'ouverture
minimum des contacts de 3 mm, un tel
dispositif de séparation doit être ajouté à
l'installation fixe pour garantir la coupure
par rapport aux canalisations.
*Toujours mettre cet appareil hors circuit par
rapport aux canalisations avant de le
nettoyer ou de procéder à son entretien.
*Ne pas faire de flambée sous ou près d'une
hotte aspirante.
*Pour la friture, faire très attention pour
empêcher les huiles et graisses de prendre
feu. De l'huile déjà utilisée est tout
particulièrement dangereuse à cet égard.
Ne pas utiliser de grills électriques exposés.
*Pour éviter des risques de feu éventuels ,
respecter les instructions d'utilisation pour
nettoyer les filtres anti-graisse et pour
enlever les dépôts de graisse de l'appareil.
Prescriptions de sécurité
*La distance entre la plaque et le bord
inférieur de la hotte aspirante doit être d'au
moins 65 cm.
*En aucun cas, la sortie ne peut être
connectée à une conduite qui serait
également utilisée pour évacuer des gaz
viciés d'appareils alimentés par une source
d'énergie autre que l'électricité (systèmes
de chauffage central, thermosiphons,
chauffe-eau, etc).
*Pour monter la sortie d'évacuation, toujours
se conformer aux prescriptions en vigueur
tels que décrites par les autorités
compétentes.
*Il faut faire très attention si une hotte
aspirante et une autre source de chaleur
(par exemple fourneaux au gaz , à mazout,
au charbon, etc) qui exige également de
l'air sont utilisées en même temps dans la
même pièce, car il est possible que la hotte
aspirante épuise l'air de combustion
nécessaire , créant ainsi une dépression
dans la pièce.
Afin de s'assurer que les gaz viciés de la
source de chaleur ne refluent pas dans la
pièce, la dépression maximum permise dans
la pièce est de 0,04 mbars. Il doit également
y avoir une source d'air dans la pièce qui
assure constamment à la pièce un apport
régulier d'air frais.
*Les spécifications techniques de cet
appareil le font rentrer dans la catégorie
d'isolation II. C'est pourquoi il ne doit pas
être mis à la masse.

*Ensuite, procéder au raccordement
électrique.
Tour d’évacuation (si présent)
Vous pouvez régler la hauteur de la hotte à
l'aide de la partie coulissante à l'extrémité de
la tour d'évacuation et en tenant compte des
marges de tolérances (615 - 1210 mm, fig. 11).
*Marquez la place du profil A à l'aide de la
tour d'évacuation (fig. 11).
*Fixez profil A au plafond et au mur à l'aide
des deux vis fournies.
*Fixez le tuyau d'évacuation.
*Fixez la tour d'évacuation sur les côtés du
profil et sur les plaques de fixation de la
hotte B avec les vis fournies.
Fixation au surmeuble
*En utilisant le gabarit de forage approprié,
percer quatre trous dans le fond du
surmeuble et découper le trou de ventilation
si la hotte aspirante doit être utilisée en
mode Evacuation (si l'appareil doit être
utilisé en mode Recyclage, ce trou n'est pas
nécessaire).
*Tout en maintenant la hotte aspirante contre
le fond du surmeuble, la fixer fermement à
sa place en utilisant les quatre vis fournies
(fig. 6).
*Ensuite, procéder au raccordement
électrique.
Important:
Vérifier la position de la vis A (fig. 9 et 10).
En mode Evacuation, la vis A doit être bien
serrée; en version Recyclage, la vis doit être
complètement lâche pour permettre à l'air
vicié de s'échapper via les ouvertures du
dessus.

Remplacer le filtre anti-graisse/
le filtre à charbon actif
Si la hotte aspirante est utilisée en mode
Recyclage, il faut remplacer le filtre à
charbon actif approximativement tous les six
mois selon l'usage.
*Démontez la grille anti-graisse comme
indiqué sous “Conversion recyclage/
evacuation”.
*Lever les deux stops métalliques (fig. 9C).
* Enlever le filtre à charbon actif
(fig. 9F et 10F).
* Le filtre anti-graisse doit être changé selon
l'usage. Si le filtre est en métal, on peut le
nettoyer à la main avec un détergent neutre
ou au lave-vaisselle.
Changement d'ampoules
Pour accéder aux ampoules, enlever la grille
anti-graisse comme décrit ci-dessus et
enlever les ampoules. Remplacer par des
ampoules du même type.
Installation
Avant de monter l'appareil, il est nécessaire
d'enlever la grille anti-graisse.
Pour monter l'appareil en mode Evacuation,
connecter une des deux sorties d'évacuation
à la conduite externe et condamner l'autre
ouverture avec le capuchon fourni (fig. 4).
En mode Recyclage, les deux sorties
d'évacuation doivent être fermées en
utilisant les capuchons fournis.
Les procédures suivantes doivent être
appliquées avant de monter l'appareil:
*Un système d'installation électrique adéquat
doit être installé.
*Si votre appareil doit être installé en mode
Evacuation, il faut d'abord percer l'orifice
de ventilation et se procurer un tuyau
adéquat pour connecter l'orifice à la
collerette de la hotte aspirante.
Fixation au mur
*En utilisant le gabarit de forage approprié,
insérer les blocs fournis dans le mur.
Ensuite insérer deux des vis fournies de
façon à ce que l'appareil puisse être
accroché sur les vis par les trous
spécialement prévus à cet effet (fig. 5A).
* Une fois que l'appareil est accroché à sa
place, il peut être fixé fermement au mur
grâce aux deux autres vis et aux trous
prévus dans la partie inférieure (fig. 5B).
Pour éviter d'endommager l'appareil,
n'utiliser que les trous déjà percés.

Les conditions de garantie reprises ci-

Dans les autres pays, votre fournisseur ou
importeur Atag vous renseignera sur les
conditions de garantie et le service après-

Importance de la garantie:
Pour cet appareil, Atag vous offre:
- 5 ans de garantie sur les pièces
- 1 an de service gratuit
La garantie sur les appareils ménagers de
Atag n'est valable que si l'appareil ménager
est installé et utilisé pour les tâches
auxquelles il est destiné.
La garantie entre en vigueur à la date de
livraison. Si on vous le demande, vous devez
pouvoir fournir une preuve de la date
d'achat, par exemple, en présentant le bon
de livraison ou la facture d'achat.
Les pièces défectueuses à la suite de défauts
de fabrication, de construction ou des
matériaux, seront remplacées gratuitement
pendant une période de 5 ans.
Au cours de la première année, le service
sera également gratuit. C'est-à-dire qu'aucun
frais d'administration, de déplacement, ni de
main-d'oeuvre ne vous sera réclamé au
cours de cette période. Pour l'envoi de
pièces gratuites, les frais d'expédition ne
seront pas réclamés pendant la première
année.
Sont exclus de la garantie:
L'endommagement pendant le transport:
Vérifiez l'état de votre nouvel appareil avant
de le rendre opérationnel. Si vous constatez
des dégâts, contactez immé-diatement votre
revendeur.
Les erreurs d'installation:
Les erreurs d'installation son exclus de la
garantie. Par exemple: ventilation
insuffisante de l'appareil ou raccordement
électrique incorrect. Les défectuosités
causées par des modifications apportées à
l'appareil son exclus de la garantie.
La mauvaise utilisation et un entretien
inadéquat ou insuffisant:
Les bris de verre et endommagement de
l'émail occasionnés par des coups ou des
objets tombés sur l'appareil. Un entretien
insuffisant ou incorrect peut être la cause
d'une décoloration des surfaces et du
vieillissement précoce des pièces en
caoutchouc et en plastique. Ceci ne tombe
pas non plus sous la garantie.
L'usure ou le vieillissement:
Les lampes usées, la décoloration du plas-
tique ou des pièces émaillées ou encore les
éraflures sont inévitables avec le temps et ne
tombent pas sous la garantie.

celle-ci, si vous désirez faire appel aux
Services après-vente de Atag. Dans les

Elimination de l'emballage et
appareil
L'emballage de l'appareil est recyclable.
Il contient :
- du carton
- une feuille de polyéthylène (PE)
- du polystyrène exempt de CFC
(mousse dure de PS)
Eliminer ces matériaux de façon adéquate et
conformément à la réglementation en vigueur
dans votre commune. L'administration
communale vous informera des moyens
adéquats de vous débarrasser de vos
anciens appareils ménagers.

*Dabei ist sicherzustellen, daß die Schraube
A (Fig. 9 und 10) ganz gelöst ist, so daß die
Luft über das Innenventil entweichen und
über die Öffnungen auf der Vorderseite
wieder in den Raum zurückgelangen kann.
*Den Kohlefilter (Fig. 2F, 9F und 10F) wie folgt
installieren: Die beiden Metallverschlüsse
(Fig. 9C und 10C) nach oben herausziehen,
den Kohlefilter einsetzen und dann die
beiden Verschlüsse wieder hineindrücken.
Wartung
Die gründliche Reinigung und Wartung
dieses Geräts gewährleistet eine gute
Funktion und eine lange Lebensdauer.
*Lackierte Geräte können mit lauwarmem
Wasser und einem neutralen Flüssigreiniger
behandelt werden. Bei der Reinigung dürfen
niemals Scheuermittel oder Scheuer-
produkte zum Einsatz gelangen
(Vim, Stahlwolle, grüne Scheuerschwämme,
flüssige Scheuermittel).
*Reinigen Sie Stahl-, Kupfer- oder
Messingoberflächen niemals mit Ätz- oder
Scheuermitteln. Unsere Empfehlung geht
dahin, vom Hersteller empfohlene
Spezialprodukte zu benutzen.

*Bei der Montage der elektrischen
Anschlüsse ist sicherzustellen, daß die
Netzspannung der auf dem innen in der
Abzugshaube angebrachten Typenschild
angegebenen Betriebsspannung entspricht.
*Sollte Ihr Gerät kein nichtzerlegbares
flexibles Kabel und keinen Stecker besitzen
und läßt sich auch keine andere Vorrichtung
entdecken, mit der sich eine unpolare
Abschaltung vom Stromnetz mit einer
Kontaktöffnung von mindestens 3 mm
sicherstellen läßt, dann muß eine solche
Vorrichtung mit der festen Installation
mitgeliefert werden, um die Möglichkeit der
Abschaltung vom Stromnetz zu
gewährleisten.
*Vor Beginn aller Reinigungs- und
Wartungsarbeiten ist unter allen Umständen
der Stecker dieses Geräts aus der
Netzsteckdose zu ziehen.
*Unter oder in der Nähe einer Abzugshaube
darf man niemals flambieren.
*Beim Braten ist besonders darauf zu achten,
daß das Öl oder Fett kein Feuer fängt.
Bereits benutztes Öl ist in dieser Hinsicht
besonders anfällig. Niemals einen
ungeschützten elektrischen Rost verwenden.
*Um eine mögliche Feuergefahr
auszuschließen, ist bei der Reinigung der
Fettabscheidefilter sowie beim Entfernen
von Fettresten auf jeden Fall die
Bedienungsanleitung zu beachten.
Sicherheit
*Der Abstand zwischen dem Obergesenk und
dem unteren Teil der Abzugshaube muß
mindestens 65 cm betragen.
*Unter keinen Umständen darf der Auslaß
an eine Rohrleitung angeschlossen werden,
die auch zum Ausstoß von Abgasen nicht
elektrisch betriebener Geräte dient
(Zentralheizungssysteme, Thermosiphons,
Wassererhitzer usw.).
*Bei der Installation der Abzugsöffnung sind
unter allen Umständen die Vorgaben der
zuständigen Behörden zu beachten.
*Vorsicht ist geboten, wenn eine
Abzugshaube zusammen mit einer weiteren
Heizquelle, die auch belüftet werden muß
(wie zum Beispiel Gas, Öl, Kohleöfen, usw.),
zusammen im gleichen Raum zum Einsatz
gelangt. Hierbei kann die Abzugshaube die
erforderliche Verbrennungsluft verbrauchen
und somit einen Unterdruck im Raum
erzeugen.
Um sicherzustellen, daß die der
Wärmequelle entstammenden Abgase nicht
in den Raum gesogen werden, darf der
Druck im Raum auf keinen Fall 0,04 mbar
unterschreiten. Außerdem ist eine
Luftzufuhr im Nachbarraum erforderlich,
die dem Raum ständig Frischluft zuführt.
*Aufgrund der technischen Spezifikationen
ist dieses Gerät in die Isolierklasse II
einzuordnen und darf daher nicht geerdet
werden.
Abluftsysteme
Die Dunstabzugshauben können auf 2
verschiedene Arten angeschlossen werden:
Im Auslaßmodus (Fig. 1) werden alle beim
Kochen entstehenden Dämpfe und / oder
Gerüche mit Hilfe eines Abzugsrohrs (durch
die Decke und / oder eine Wand) unmittelbar
nach außen abgeführt. Dabei werden die
oben und / oder auf der Rückseite des Geräts
angebrachten Löcher genutzt.
Im Filtermodus (Fig. 2) werden die beim
Kochen entstehenden Dämpfe und / oder
Gerüche mit Hilfe einem Kohlefilter
herausgefiltert, so daß die abgesaugte Luft
danach durch die Öffnungen auf der
Vorderseite erneut in den Raum zurück-
geleitet werden kann.
Achtung: Im Filtermodus müssen Sie
unbedingt einen Kohlefilter benutzen.
Umstellung von Filtermodus auf
Auslaßmodus
Diese Umstellung kann innerhalb des Geräts
vollzogen werden:
*Der Fettabscheidegitter läßt sich entfernen,
indem man es mit Hilfe der Knöpfe nach
hinten, d.h. in Richtung der Rückseite des
Geräts zurückschiebt, bis es ausklinkt, und
es dann nach unten zieht. Dieses Gitter kann
auch ganz herausgenommen werden, indem
man es in eine Richtung dreht und dabei die
andere Seite festhält (Fig. 3).

*Hängt das Gerät richtig, kann man es mit
Hilfe der beiden anderen Schrauben und der
unteren Löcher fest aufhängen (Fig. 5B).
Um das Gerät nicht zu beschädigen, sollten
ausschließlich die bereits vorhandenen
Löcher verwendet werden.
*Nun kann man für die elektrischen
Anschlüsse sorgen.
Montage des Schachtes (wenn vorhanden)
Mit dem ausziehbaren Teil am Ende des
Schachtes können Sie die Schachthöhe
einstellen. Beachten Sie bitte die zulässigen
Toleranzbereiche (615 - 1210 mm, Fig. 11).
*Zeichnen Sie die Stelle für Profil A mit Hilfe
des Schachtes vor (Fig. 11).
*Befestigen Sie das Profil A mit den zwei
mitgelieferten Dübeln und Schrauben an der
Decke und der Wand.
*Bringen Sie das Abzugsrohr an.
*Befestigen Sie den Schacht mit den
mitgelieferten Schrauben an den Seiten des
Profils und an den Befestigungsbügel B der
Haube.
Wandschrankmontage
*Mit Hilfe einer passenden Bohrlehre vier
Löcher in den Sockel des Wandschranks
bohren und, wenn der Abzug im
Auslaßmodus zum Einsatz gelangen soll,
eine Entlüftungsöffnung aussägen (wenn
das Gerät im Filtermodus verwendet werden
soll, ist kein derartiges Loch erforderlich).
*Den Abzugshaube fest gegen den Sockel
des Wandschranks drücken und hier mit

*Nun kann man für die elektrischen
Anschlüsse sorgen.
Wichtig:
Die Position der Schraube A überprüfen
(Fig. 9 und 10). Im Auslaßmodus muß die
Schraube A fest eingeschraubt sein; im
Filtermodus dagegen muß diese Schraube
ganz lose sitzen, so daß die abgezogene Luft
über die oberen Öffnungen entweichen kann.

Kohlefilter/Fettabscheideeinsatz
auswechseln
Soll die Abzugshaube im Filtermodus
verwendet werden, muß den Kohlefilter
(Fig. 2F, 9F und 10F) ungefähr alle sechs
Monate ausgewechselt werden, je nach der
Gebrauchsintensität.
*Entfernen Sie den Fettabscheidegitter,
wie unter ‘Umstellung von Filtermodus auf
Auslaßmodus’ angegeben.
*Die beiden Metallverschlüsse nach oben
herausziehen (Fig. 9C und 10C).
*Den Kohlefilter entfernen (Fig. 9F und 10F).
*Das Fettabscheideeinsatz ist je nach
Gebrauchsintensität ab und zu
auszuwechseln. Metalleinsätze können per
Hand mit einem neutralen Spülmittel oder
auch in einer Geschirrspülmaschine
gereinigt werden.
Glühbirnen auswechseln
Die Glühbirne(n) sind erreichbar, indem man
den Fettabscheidegitter entsprechend der
obigen Beschreibung demontiert. Nun kann
man die Glühbirne(n) ausschrauben. Neue
Glühbirnen desselben Typs einsetzen.
Installation
Vor der Montage des Geräts muß man
zunächst das Fettabscheidegitter
herausnehmen.
Das Gerät läßt sich im Auslaßmodus
installieren, indem man eine der beiden
Abzugsöffnungen an das externe Abzugsrohr
anschließt und die andere Öffnung mit dem
mitgelieferten Deckel abdichtet (Fig. 4).
Ist der Filtermodus gewünscht, müssen beide
Abzugsöffnungen des Geräts mit Hilfe der
entsprechenden mitgelieferten Deckel
abgedichtet werden.
Vor der Installation des Geräts sind die
folgenden Verfahrensschritte erforderlich:
*Es muß ein ordentliches Schaltsystem
installiert werden.
*Soll Ihr Gerät im Auslaßmodus installiert
werden, ist zunächst für eine Entlüftungs-
öffnung zu sorgen. Zudem ist ein gutes Rohr
erforderlich, um die Entlüftungsöffnung an
die Flansch der Abzugshaube
anzuschließen.
Wandmontage
*Mit Hilfe einer passenden Bohrlehre werden
nun die mitgelieferten Blöcke in die Wand
getrieben und zwei der mitgelieferten
Schrauben eingeschraubt. Die speziell dafür
vorgesehenen Öffnungen im Gerät passen
genau auf diese Schrauben (Fig. 5A), so daß
das Gerät nun mühelos aufgehängt werden
kann.

bei Ihrem Lieferanten oder Atag-Importeur.
Garantiebedingungen:
Auf diesen Apparat gibt Atag Ihnen:
- 5 Jahre Garantie auf die Einzelteile
- 1 Jahr kostenlosen Kundendienst
Die Atag Küchenapparatur-Garantie ist nur
gültig, wenn die Apparatur zu haushaltlichen
Zwecken installiert wurde und zweckgerecht
verwendet wird.
Die Garantiezeit beginnt am Liefertag.
Dieses Datum ist auf Wunsch nachzu-weisen,
etwa mittels eines Lieferscheins oder einer
Quittung.
Einzelteile, die durch Material-,
Konstruktions- oder Herstellungsfehler
beschädigt wurden, werden während eines
Zeitraumes von 5 Jahren kostenlos
ausgewechselt.
Während des ersten Jahres nach Ankauf
bieten wir ebenfalls einen kostenlosen
Kundendienst an. Das heißt, daß Ihnen bei
Reparaturen weder Verwaltungskosten,
Anfahrtskosten noch Arbeitslohn in
Rechnung gestellt werden. Der Versand von
kostenlosen Einzelteilen erfolgt im ersten
Jahr portofrei.
Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind:
Transportschäden:
Kontrollieren Sie die neue Apparatur, bevor
Sie sie in Betrieb nehmen. Wenn Sie Schäden
vorfinden, nehmen Sie Kontakt mit Ihrem
Lieferanten auf.
Installationsfehler:
Installationsfehler sind von der Garantie
ausgeschlossen. Zum Beispiel unzureichende
Ventilation des Apparates oder falscher
elektrischer Anschluß. Mängel, die aufgrund
an der Apparatur vergenommener
Änderungen entstanden sind, sind ebenfalls
von der Garantie ausgeschlossen.
Benutzungsfehler und falsche oder
unzureichende Wartung:
Hierunter fallen etwa gebrochenes Glas oder
Emaillieschäden, die durch Stoßen oder
Fallen von Gegenständen auf oder gegen die
Apparatur verursacht wurden.
Durch unzureichende oder unsachmäßige
Wartung können Oberflächenverfärbungen
entstehen sowie Gummi und Kunststoffe
schnell veralten. Dies fällt ebenfalls nicht
unter die Garantie.
Verschleiß oder Überalterung:
Beispiele hierfür sind defekte Lampen,
Kunststoffverfärbungen, Verfärbungen von
Lackflächen und Kratzer auf der Apparatur.
Wer ist für Sie zuständig:
In den Ländern mit einer Atag-Niederlassung,
können Sie sich an diese wenden, wenn Sie
den Atag Kundendienst in Anspruch nehmen
möchten. In den anderen Ländern nehmen
Sie bitte Kontakt mit Ihrem Lieferanten oder
Atag-Importeur auf.
Beseitigung von Verpackung und
Gerät
Die Verpackung des Geräts ist recycelbar.
Als Verpackungsmaterial werden gebraucht:
- Karton
- Polyethylenfolie (PE)
- FCKW-freies Polystyrol (PS-Hardschaum)
Diese Materialien sind auf umweltgerechte
und den jeweiligen kommunalen Vorschriften
entsprechende Weise zu beseitigen.
Die Gemeinde kann Sie auch über die
umweltgerechte Beseitigung von
ausrangierten Haushaltsgeräten beraten.
