Warning
Caution:

Caution hot surface.
IMPORTANT: Certain parts of this product can become very hot
and cause burns. Particular attention must be paid in the
presence of children and vulnerable individuals.
- This appliance must be kept away from children under the age of 3, unless under
constant supervision.
- Children aged between 3 and 8 may only switch the appliance on or off, on
condition that it is placed or installed in a normal, intended position and that the
children are supervised or have received instructions concerning the safe use of
the appliance and clearly understand the potential hazards. Children aged
between 3 and 8 must not connect, adjust, or clean the appliance or perform the
user maintenance.
- This appliance can be used by children who are at least 8 years old and by people
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or people lacking experience
or knowledge if they are correctly supervised or if they have been given and have
understood instructions concerning safe use of the appliance. Children must not
play with the appliance. The appliance must not be cleaned or serviced by
children without supervision.
- This appliance must only be connected by an authorised person in accordance
with the rules and standards in force.
- If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
customer service or a professional with similar qualification to prevent any

- When the appliance is heated for the first time, a slight odour may be noted.
This results from the evacuation of any traces linked to the manufacture of the
appliance. The first time your appliance is started up, we recommend that you
set it to heat to 28 °C for 1 hour.
- Our appliances are incompatible with energy management systems or load
shedding systems with a shut-off function. They will damage the thermostat.
- Do not install the appliance under a power outlet.

the heating appliance.
Appliances carrying this symbol must not be disposed of with
household waste. They must be collected separately and recycled.
Products at the end of their life must be collected and recycled in
accordance with the local provisions and decrees.
Installing a vertical appliance at altitude causes an increase in the air
outlet temperature (10 °C per 1000 m change in altitude).
Installation and Servicing
PREPARING TO INSTALL THE APPLIANCE
Installation rules
- This appliance has been designed for installation in a residential setting. Please
consult your retailer for any other scenario.
- Installation must be carried out in accordance with good industry practice, and
with the standards in force in the country of installation.
- The appliance must be connected to a 230 V, 50 Hz single-phase power supply.
- In wet environments such as bathrooms and kitchens, the connection box must
be installed at least 25 cm from the floor.
Keep the appliance out of the way of any air currents that might disrupt its
operation (e.g.: under a ventilation system, etc.).
Do not install under a power outlet.

CONNECTING THE APPLIANCE
Connection rules
- The appliance must be connected to a 230 V, 50 Hz single-phase power supply.
- If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
After-Sales service or a similarly qualified professional to prevent any hazards.
CAUTION: These appliances cannot be installed stationary on the French market.
MOUNTING THE APPLIANCE
MAINTENANCE
Before any maintenance action, cut the power supply to the appliance. To
maintain the appliance's performance, it needs to be dusted approximately twice
a year.
Never use abrasive products or solvents.

Operation
THE UNIT
Press any button to activate the display.
SWITCH
There is an on/off switch located at the rear of the appliance control unit.
Only use this to switch off the appliance for long periods of
time (period without heating; Frost Protection mode should be
used for periods of several days).
If you have set the date and time, when the appliance is powered off, you may be
asked to reset these.

OPERATING MODES
Several operating modes are available:
COMFORT MODE
You set your temperature when you are present. The
appliance continuously follows the set comfort
temperature. This temperature is also that applied in
Programming mode for the Comfort phases.
ECO MODE
This mode is used for short periods of absence (<48h). The
Eco temperature is always at least 2 °C below the Comfort
temperature. This temperature is also that applied in
Programming mode for the Eco phases.
PROGRAMMING MODE
The appliance follows internal programs for each day of
the week. These programs define at what time of day the
appliance must follow the Comfort temperature or the
Eco temperature. Some programs are predefined. They
can be personalised (see "Personalising a program").
To use the programming mode, you must first set the time and day in
the Settings .

Use
INITIAL SWITCH-ON
Press any button to activate the display.
When it is first powered on, Comfort mode is selected, and the temperature is
set to 19 °C.
When the appliance is heated for the first time, a slight odour may be noted.

The appliance has 7 (modifiable) programs which define at what time of day the appliance must

By default, a program is already
allocated to each day of the week.
You can change the allocation of the
programs in the Settings .
Use the buttons to display the appliance's operating program (Co, Ec,
oF).
If the screen displays Co, you are in a Comfort operating slot.
If the screen displays Ec, you are in an Eco operating slot. The Eco temperature is set to
3.5 °C lower than the Comfort temperature. The Eco temperature cannot exceed 19 °C.
If the screen displays oF, the appliance will not heat.
We recommend that you use Comfort and Eco modes to control your electricity
consumption.

To change the program (Comfort Co, Eco Ec, Off oF) and the operating ranges, go into Settings
(see "Settings").
No temperature settings can be made in Programming mode. To set the Comfort
temperature, go to Comfort mode.

SETTINGS
In Settings , you can:
•: Set the time and day.
•: Select the program (P1 to P7) for each day of the week (d1 to d7).
•:Personalise each of the programs (P1 to P7), choosing the operating mode
(Co, Ec, oF) for each hour of the day (from 00:00 to 23:00).

SELECTING A PREDEFINED PROGRAM FOR EACH DAY OF THE WEEK
1 - Select Settings . The symbol will be displayed.
2 - Press three times to display

3 - Press to display the first day. The
day number will be displayed .
4 - Select the day to set using the
buttons.
5 - Press . The day number will
flash alternately with the program .
6 - Set the program using the buttons.
7 - Press to confirm. The next day will be displayed.
8 - Go back to step 4 for each of the other days.
Example: I am not working on Friday, so I want to allocate program P6 to Friday (d5).
PERSONALISING A PROGRAM
1 - Select Settings . The symbol will be displayed.
2 - Press four times to display .
3 - Press to display the first program. The program number will be displayed .
4 - Select the program to be modified using the buttons.
5 - Press , the first hour will flash alternately with the operating program .
6 - Select the hour to be modified using the buttons.
7 - Press several times to select the operating program (Comfort, Eco, Off).
8 - Press to display the next hour.
9 - Go back to point 6 for each of the other time slots
10 - After the last hour (23), the symbol will be displayed.
11 - Press to go back to the programs list
12 - Go back to point 4 for each program to be modified.
Example: I want to modify program P6. I want the appliance to be switched off between 00:00 and
04:00, and have Comfort temperature between 09:00 and 13:00, and between 19:00 and 21:00.
So, you need to change the time slots between 00:00 and 04:00 from Comfort to Off, and change the
slot between 04:00 and 09:00 from Comfort to Eco, change the slot between 13:00 and 19:00 from
Comfort to Eco, and then change the slot between 21:00 and 24:00 from Comfort to Eco.

ACTIVATING OR DEACTIVATING THE OPEN WINDOW DETECTION FUNCTION
1 - Select Settings . The symbol will be displayed.
2 - Press twice to display .
3 - Press to activate or deactivate the function. The symbol will flash.
4 - Press to select or .
5 - Press to confirm.
There is an automatic inactivity timeout from Settings after one minute.
After the power has been cut, you may need to reset the day and time.

LOCKING ACCESS TO THE CONTROLS
Your appliance's controls can be child-locked by pressing and holding these two buttons
at the same time for more than 3 seconds.
Then when you press one of the buttons, will be displayed. The controls will be
locked.
Perform the same operation to unlock. The following screen will be displayed .
WINDOW OPEN DETECTION
When activated, this function can detect temperature variations linked to the opening of your
windows.
If you forget to switch your appliance off when a window is open for a long period of time, this
function solves this issue, and prevents your appliance from heating unnecessarily.
If an open window is detected, is displayed and flashes, and the appliance automatically
switches to Frost Protection mode (7 °C).
The appliance reacts to opening and closing of windows
according to several variables, including in particular:
- the desired room temperature.
- the outdoor temperature.
- the installation configuration.
The function remains active for 2 hours. It is deactivated
automatically after this period.
The appliance will return to its original operation.
We advise against using this function in corridors and in rooms situated close to an entrance door
leading to the outside.
If your window is open and the outside temperature is below 7 °C, the appliance continues to
heat until 7 °C is reached.

Load shedding
Our appliances are compatible with various load shedding systems. However, you must not use
mains shut-off load shedding, since these systems are incompatible with our appliances. Sudden,
inadvertent and repeated power shut-offs can cause premature wear and damage to the electronics
boards, which would not be covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
During load shedding periods, the screen displays Of and FP.
The appliance will then return to its initial operation.
Advanced functions
ACCESSING THE ADVANCED FUNCTIONS
CALIBRATION
There may be a difference between the setpoint temperature, and the temperature actually
measured in the room. This is generally due to the appliance installation conditions (location,
power/volume, room insulation, etc.). Calibration is used to adapt the thermostat setting to the
actual room conditions.
1 - Switch the appliance to Comfort mode at 20 °C, and wait for a few hours.
2 - Measure the room temperature using a thermometer and calculate the difference (measured
temperature - setpoint temperature).
3 - Press and hold the and buttons at the same time for more than 3 seconds to display
(Calibration).
4 - Press , will flash alternately with the currently set difference .
5 - Set the new value using the buttons (between -3 °C and +3 °C).
6 - Press to exit.
Example: After several hours in Comfort mode with the temperature set to 20 °C,
I measure a room temperature of 18 °C. So, I set a difference of 18- 20=-2.
Example: After several hours in Comfort mode with the temperature set to 20 °C, I measure a
room temperature of 22 °C. So, I set a difference of 22- 20=+2.

MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE
The appliance can save a maximum temperature (of between 19 °C and 28 °C), which the settings
cannot exceed. By default, it is set to 28 °C.
1 - Press and hold the and buttons at the same time for more than 3 seconds to display
.
2 - Press to display (Max. Temperature).
3 - Press ; will flash alternately with the currently set maximum temperature .
4 - Set the new value using the buttons (between 19 °C and 28 °C).
5 - Press to exit.
Example: I want to prevent a temperature above 24 °C from being set.
HEATING STANDBY INDICATOR
There is an automatic inactivity timeout on the control panel display after a few seconds, with the
exception of the heating indicator, which is lit when the resistor power supply is on. It is possible to
configure the panel so that the indicator goes out when the panel display is switched off.
1 - Press and hold the and buttons at the same time for more than 3 seconds to display
.
2 - Press twice to display (Heating Indicator).
3 - Press , will flash alternately with .
4 - Press to display .
5 - Press to exit.
FACTORY SETTINGS
It is possible to reset the appliance, erasing all the settings made (programs, calibration, maximum
temperature, heating indicator). This function is particularly useful in case of programming errors.
1 - Press and hold the and buttons at the same time for more than 3 seconds to display
.
2 - Press three times to display (Factory Settings).
3 - Press , will flash alternately with .
4 - Press to display .
5 - Press to confirm. All the indicators will light up. The appliance will then return to Comfort
mode at 19 °C.

Troubleshooting
Problem encountered
Checks to carry out
The control panel does
not light up.
The display is on standby. Press any button to activate the display. Check
that the appliance is connected to the power supply. Check that the switch
is in position I.
The heating indicator
does not light up.
The heating indicator lights up when the power supply to the resistor is on.
Check that the indicator light is active. Consult the "Heating standby
indicator". Check the ambient temperature of the room and the set
temperature.
The room temperature
is different from that
displayed by the
appliance.
You have to wait at least 6 hours for the temperature to stabilise.
Depending on your installation, you may read a different temperature to
that displayed on the appliance. You can adjust the setpoint temperature
to the temperature read in the room. See "Calibration".
The appliance does not
heat up.
If you have selected a program, check that you are in a Comfort time slot.
Check that the installation’s circuit breakers are depressed or that the fail-
safe (if present) has not stopped the appliance from functioning. Check the
ambient temperature of the room: if this is higher than the set
temperature, the appliance will not heat up.
The appliance is
heating constantly
Read the temperature at the bottom right of the appliance (this is where
the sensor is located). If this temperature is below the set temperature,
then the appliance should be heating up. If there is a notable difference
between the temperature at the bottom right of the appliance and the
ambient temperature of the room, we recommend that you correct the
environment around the appliance. Otherwise, we would ask that you
check the power of the appliance in relation to the dimensions of the room
and the structure. Also ensure that the product is heating an enclosed area
(no influx of air from unheated rooms). In the event of a problem
(thermostat blocked, etc.), cut the power to the appliance (fuse, circuit
breaker) for about 10 minutes, then switch it on again.
There may be a problem in the electrical network. In the event of a

The appliance is
heating when the
window is open
There may be a short delay between the opening of the window and its
detection. If outside temperatures are mild, or due to the configuration of
the room, it may take longer to switch to Frost Protection (it is the
appliance sensor which detects the drop in temperature and activates
Frost Protection mode). If the room temperature drops below 7 °C, the
appliance heats up.

The appliance does
not heat up enough.
Increase the temperature.
If the ambient temperature of the room does not reach the requested
temperature, read the temperature at the bottom right of the appliance
(this is where the sensor is located). If this temperature is above the set
temperature, then the appliance should not be heating up. If there is a
notable difference between the temperature at the bottom right of the
appliance and the ambient temperature of the room, we recommend that
you correct the environment around the appliance. Otherwise, we would
ask that you check that the power of the appliance is correct for the
dimensions of the room and your structure. Also ensure that the product
is heating an enclosed area.
The surface of the
appliance is very hot.
It is normal that the appliance is hot when operating and the maximum
surface temperature is limited in accordance with the NF Electricity
standard. If, however, you feel that your appliance is always very hot, check
the ambient temperature of the room. If this is higher than the set
temperature, refer to the section "The appliance is heating constantly".
Otherwise, the appliance is heating to the correct power for its output and
the dimensions of the room.
Traces of dirt appear
on the wall around the
appliance.
In a polluted atmosphere, dirt may appear around the appliance’s air
outlets or on the wall. This phenomenon is linked to the poor ambient air
quality (cigarette smoke, candles, incense, fireplace, etc.). In this case, you
are advised to check that the room is suitably ventilated (ventilation, air
intake, etc.).
The appliance does
not follow the internal
programming
commands.
Check that the date and time are set.

If you have been unable to solve your problem, contact your retailer/installer, after noting the references
for your appliance. These are located on the side of the appliance. Measure the room temperature. The
commercial code (C) and the serial number (E) provide the manufacturer's identification of the appliance
you have just bought.
