Before using the product, please read this manual carefully. This
product is for household use only. Do not use for medical, industrial
or commercial purposes. Place the balance on a level, dry and non-
slip surface. Do not use the product in the vicinity of the kitchen
sink. Do not overload the balance. Do not install this product near
a gas or electric stove, or other heat sources. Do not expose the
product to direct sunlight. Do not use or store the balance in an area
with high humidity (more than 80%), do not allow water or other
liquids to enter the body of the balance, because this could aect
the accuracy of the weighing or cause damage to the product. Be
especially careful if the device is used by children or people with dis-
abilities. Do not allow children to use the product as a toy. Do not
subject the balance to shock loads. If you do not use the balance
for a long period of time, you must remove the batteries from the
battery compartment. When installing the batteries, strictly observe
the polarity as indicated. In a timely manner, change the batteries.
Do not disassemble or repair the balance yourself. If any problems
are found, please contact an authorized service center.
ATTENTION! Do not allow children to play with plastic bags or
wrapping lm. The threat of suocation! If the product has been
kept for a while at a temperature below 0ºC, it must be left in the
room for at least 2 hours before turning it on. Place the scales on
a at level, dry and non-slip surface. In order to avoid errors during
weighing, do not use scales on carpets or carpeting. In order to ob-
tain the most accurate indications while weighing, place the scales
on the same place. Do not stand on the scales with wet feet or on
the wet surface of the appliance body, you may slip and get injured.
Be careful when standing on the scales: stand on the scales rst with
one foot, make sure of their stability and only then put the second
foot. Stand on the scales and evenly distribute your weight. Stand
still while weighing is taking place, it is forbidden to jump on the
surface of the scales.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Before operating remove the insulation lm from the battery con-
tact. Place the scales on a smooth, at level surface. Do not allow
foreign objects to fall under the lower part of the scales. Stand care-
fully on the scales. They will automatically turn on and the weigh-
ing process will begin. Do not lean on anything, stand straight and
motionless, so that the readout stabilizes. The scales are set to the
kilogram “kg” unit by default. On the rear panel of the scales is a
button-switch, with which you can select the unit of measurement
of the stone“st”or pounds “lb”.
OPERATION
Wipe the working surface with a damp cloth, then wipe it dry. Clean the base of the balance with a dry soft cloth. Do not use chemical or
abrasive agents to clean the scales.
CARE AND CLEANING
Complete the CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE section. Keep the scale in the package horizontally. Make sure that there are no objects on the
scales during storage. Keep the scale in a cool and dry place.
STORAGE
This symbol on the product and packaging means that used electrical and electronic products, as well as batteries, should not be disposed of with house-
hold waste.They need to be taken to specialized reception points. For more information on existing waste collection systems, contact your local authorities.
