BenetfromIRlightinlow-lightconditionbyuingnightmode
Yourcamerausesvisibeighttodeivercoorimagesduringtheday.Butasthevisibeightdiminishes,coorimagesbecomeess
brightandcear.Ifyouswitchtonightmodewhenthishappens,thecamerausesbothvisibeandnear-infraredighttodeiverbright
anddetaiedback-and-whiteimagesinstead.Youcansetthecameratoswitchtonightmodeautomaticay.
1.GotoVideoImageDay-nightmode,andmakesurethattheIR-cutlterissettoAuto.
2.Tosetatwhatighteveyouwantthecameratoswitchtonightmode,movetheThresholdsidertowardBrightorDark.
Note
Ifyousettheswitchtonightmodetooccurwhenit’sbrighter,theimageremainssharperasthereisessow-ightnoise.If
yousettheswitchtooccurwhenit’sdarker,theimagecoorsaremaintainedforonger,butthereismoreimageburdue
toow-ightnoise.
OptimizeIRillumination
Dependingontheinstaationenvironmentandtheconditionsaroundthecamera,forexampeexternaightsourcesinthescene,
youcansometimesimprovetheimagequaityifyoumanuayadjusttheintensityoftheLEDs.Ifyouhaveprobemswithreections
fromtheLEDs,youcantrytoreducetheintensity.

•Makesuretoseectthecapturemodethathasthehighestresoution.
•GotoVideoStreamGeneralandsetthecompressionasowaspossibe.
•Beowtheiveviewimage,cickandinVideoformat,seectMJPEG.
•GotoVideoStreamZipstreamandseectOff.
Handlecenewithtrongbacklight
Dynamicrangeisthedifferenceinightevesinanimage.Insomecasesthedifferencebetweenthedarkestandthebrightest
areascanbesignicant.Theresutisoftenanimagewhereeitherthedarkorthebrightareasarevisibe.Widedynamicrange
(WDR)makesbothdarkandbrightareasoftheimagevisibe.
