1. PRECAUTIONS
WARNING
DISCONNECT ALL POWER TO THIS UNIT
EFORE INSTALLING, CLEANING, OR
SERVICING. FAILURE TO DO SO COULD
RESULT IN ODILY HARM OR DAMAGE THE
UNIT.
CAUTION
 Only qualified persons to service the instrument
 efore connecting or disconnecting any components, remove the
power.

Failure to observe these precautions bodily harm or damage to or
destruction of the equipment.
Load the balance only in vertical travel direction.
Do not leave the controls while a load is suspended

Operate the scale at a safe speed
Never position the load over a person or any body part
 Avoid extreme temperature.
 Avoid un table power ource . Do not u e near large u er of electricity
uch a welding equipment or large motor .
 Avoid high humidity that might cau e conden ation. Avoid direct contact
with water. Do not pray or immer e the cale in water.
 Do not tack material on the cale when they are not in u e.
 Never tand under the load, or injury / death may occur.
 Read thi manual before operating or repairing thi equipment.
 Follow the e in truction carefully.
 Di connect the equipment from power ource before maintaining.
 The weighing indicator i a preci ion electronic in trument, handle with
care.
 Verify the local voltage and receptacle type are correct for the cale.
 Only u e original adaptor, other may cau e damage to cale.
 Avoid udden temperature change , and vibration.
 Avoid heavy Radio Frequency noi e.
 Keep the indicator clean

3. INTRODUCTION
 The Ten ion Link WS erie handheld indicator get fa t and accurate
weighing by wirele communication. It i u ed with the Ten ion Link WS
crane cale.
 Handheld indicator can be connected to a printer or a PC.
 Large LCD with white LED back light di play
 Battery provide up to 40 hour of continue u e (without backlight).
 Wirele communication di tance i up to 33 meter (100 feet).

5. OPERATION of indicator
Initial Start-up
Warm-up time of 15 minute tabilize the mea ured value after witching on.
5.1. asic Operation
1. Power ON/OFF:
Switch on the balance by pre ing the key.
The di play i witched on and the elf-te t i tarted. To witch off, pre
the key again.
2. Zero
Set the di played weight to zero any time by pre ing key. Zero
hould be et before applying any load.
3. Tare
The tare weight of a container can be et by pre ing the button,
the net weight of the object i now di played.
 Apply tare weight to the hook.
 Pre key. Zero i di played, and tare weight i ubtracted.
 Remove the container weight. Negative tare weight i now di played.
Only one tare value can be et.
 To clear the tare value, remove the load and pre key. Zero i
di played, tare weight i cleared.
4. Weighing Operation
 Rig the load with adequately load rated rigging equipment.
 Slowly rai e the load to a afe level, wait few econd for a table
di play.
 Read the re ult.
 Avoid overloading. When di play how “ ol ” reduce the load or
unload.

5.2 Accumulation
Ten ion Link WS can do accumulation, it can ave 99 weighment of data.
5.2.1 Manual Accumulation
Accumulation Operation:
En ure di play i zero.
Place good , when get table, Pre M+ key.
Remove good from the hook, di play of Ten ion Link indicator,
Followed by the total tored value
Thi will only di play for 3 econd
5.2.2 Memory Recall
In the weighing mode, when di playing value i zero or le than 20d,
pre M+ key, di play of Ten ion Link indicator di play .
Total tored value will follow.
5.2.3 Memory Clear
In the weighing mode pre M+ key.
Di play of Ten ion Link indicator.
Total tored value will follow.
Pre G/N key, tored memory will be cleared.
Note: if you ee adder, it mean accumulation error, plea e make ure the
weight i more than 20d, or it will not perform accumulation.
5.3 Reading Lock or peak value
Read lock or peak value by pre ing key. pre thi key again to return
to normal di play.
Note: enable/di able thi function in parameter P4 HLD. (page 10)
When in peak/hold mode, peak/hold indication will turn on.
5.4 Change Weighing Unit
In normal di play, UNIT key will change weighing unit: kg / g / oz / lb / N.

6. PARAMETERS
Turn on the cale and pre key during the elf-check, di play will how
Pre key to change the menu election.
Pre key to confirm;
Pre M+ key to increment digit po ition while entering number .
Pre UNIT key to e cape up a parameter level, then from the etting and
return to weighing mode. . (Defaults are old)

7. CALI RATION
To et calibration, elect cal parameter after electing range

Thi i common calibration, you can pre to choo e linear calibration.
Common calibration: Span

Remove good from the hook.
When weight i table, pre key to confirm.

You can pre , or M+ and G/N key to change the value,

Note 1:
If the Ten ion Link di play fail
It mean calibration ha failed, try repeating calibration, and verify you are
loading the correct weight.
Note 2: The calibration weight value hould be le than or equal to cale
capacity, exceeding will cau e the calibration equence to fail.
