Mit dem CE-Zeichen bestätigen wir, dass unsere
Produkte den Anforderungen der aktuellen
EMV-Richtlinie entsprechen.
In unserem EMV-Labor, das von der DATech für Prüfungen
der elektromagnetischen Verträglichkeit akkreditiert ist,
wurde der Nachweis erbracht, dass die Balluff-Produkte
die EMV-Anforderungen der Norm EN 60947-5-2 erfüllen.
Sicherheitshinweise
Diese optoelektronischen Sensoren dürfen nicht
in Anwendungen eingesetzt werden, in denen die
Sicherheit von Personen von der Gerätefunktion
abhängt (kein Sicherheitsbauteil gem. EU-Maschi-
nenrichtlinie). Vor Inbetriebnahme ist die Betriebs-
anleitung sorgfältig zu lesen.
Schaltabstand vergrößern: Potentiometer im Uhrzeiger-
sinn drehen.
Schaltabstand verkleinern: Potentiometer gegen den
Uhrzeigersinn drehen.
1. Den Sensor auf die gewünschte Entfernung zum Objekt
positionieren.
2. Das Potentiometer so einstellen, dass das Objekt
sicher erkannt wird: Die gelbe LED leuchtet und zeigt
Lichtempfang.
3. Das Objekt entfernen. Der Hintergrund darf nicht
erkannt werden: Die gelbe LED darf nicht leuchten.
Achtung!
Blicken Sie nicht in den Lichtstrahl.

Gefahr von Blendung und Irritation!
Der Sensor ist so zu montieren, dass auch wäh-
rend des Betriebs kein direkter Blick in die Licht-
quelle möglich ist.

proper function of the devices (not safety
designed per EU machine guideline). Read these
operating instructions carefully before putting the
device into service.

clockwise.
To reduce switching distance: Turn potentiometer
counter-clockwise.
1. Position the sensor at the desired distance to the
object.
2. Set the potentiometer so that the object is reliably
detected: The yellow LED will be on toindicate light is
being received.
3. Remove the object. The background should not be
detected: The yellow LED should not be on.
