Getting Started
IMPORTANT!
• Only install this bracket on a structurally sound wall area that is strong
enough to hold the weight of the TV as well as the wall mount.
• Mount the bracket far away from any water source and direct sunlight.
• DO NOT attach the bracket to a hollow wall or decorative room divider.
• Consult your builder for advice if you want to install the bracket to a wood
stud wall. The wall must be strong enough for the weight of the bracket
and the TV.
• If you want to install the wall mount to a steel stud wall, purchase
suitable steel stud fasteners from your local hardware store. DO NOT
use the supplied large self-tapping screws in steel studs.
• This Swing Arm Wall Bracket consists of a wall plate with a swing arm
and a TV mounting plate at the end. It comes fully assembled. You first
affix the wall plate to the wall, then you will need help to attach your TV
to the TV mounting plate.
Before you start installing the wall bracket
• Unpack the product but keep all packaging materials until you have made
sure your new Swing Arm Wall Bracket is undamaged and in good working
order. (In case of damage, contact our after sales support line for advice
on examination, repair or return of the damaged product.) Plastic wrapping
can be a suffocation hazard for babies and young children, so ensure all
packaging materials are out of their reach.
• Read this manual to familiarise yourself with all the parts and installation
instructions. Pay particular attention to the safety instructions on page 5.
• All the parts that are supplied for installation are pictured on page 6 with
their respective part identification letter (A to F). Sort the items accordingly
so you know which ones to use during installation.
CAUTION!
At least two people are required
to install this Swing Arm Wall
Bracket. Do not attempt to
assemble it independently to
avoid incorrect assembly or any
possible injury this may cause.

Installation
Step 1: Attaching the wall plate
Tools required: Pencil, drill and drill bits, hammer, Phillips head screwdriver,
spanner wrench
Mounting to a brick or concrete wall
• Choose a solid wall area far away from any water source and direct
sunlight. Avoid hollow areas or the mortar joints between bricks.
• Using the wall plate of the wall bracket as a
template and with the aid of the spirit leveller
(F) mark the positions of the 5 holes on the wall.
Ensure the holes are level.
• Using an 8mm masonry bit, pre-drill a 5cm deep
hole in each marked location.
• Place the masonry plugs (E-ii) into the holes and
gently tap them with a hammer until flush with
the wall.
• Position the wall plate and insert the self-tapping
screws (E-i) into the plugs. Secure the wall plate
to the wall.
Mounting to a stud wall
• Locate the edges of studs in the wall using a commercially available stud
finder and mark the centre of the studs. Confirm the presence of the
studs by drilling a small diameter pilot hole.
• Using the wall plate of the wall bracket and supplied
spirit leveller, outline the location of the five holes on
the studs. Ensure the holes are level.
• Using a 3mm bit, pre-drill a 3cm deep hole in each
marked location.
• Position the wall plate and screw the self-tapping
screws (E-i) into the studs. Secure the wall plate to the
wall.

Installation (Cont.)
IMPORTANT!
Attaching a flat panel TV to a wall mount requires specialist knowledge.
We assume no liability for any injury or material damage incurred due
to incorrect assembly or use. Make sure to follow all instructions in this
manual, and if you require professional advice, please consult a relevant
tradesperson.
Step 2: Mounting the rails to a television
• When the wall plate is properly attached to the wall, pull the swing arm as
far out from the wall as possible.
• Select the appropriate bolts (B-i/B-ii/C-i/C-ii/D-i) that fit the thread holes
at the back of your TV monitor.
NOTE: If the television manufacturer included different screws, use them,
not the ones that came with the bracket.
• You will need another person to help you attach the TV to the TV
mounting plate. While the other person is holding the TV monitor, insert
the four selected bolts through the spacers (D-ii) if required, and the
corresponding holes on the TV mounting plate into the thread holes on
the back of the TV, as illustrated below (the illustration shows the TV
mounting plate without the attached swing arm and wall plate, for better
visibility). Then tighten the bolts.
• Make sure the TV mounting plate is mounted symmetrically and evenly.

Installation (Cont.)
Step 3: Adjusting the viewing angle
• To adjust the viewing angle upwards or
downwards, loosen the adjustment nut using
a spanner wrench and tilt the monitor on the
mounting plate slightly. Then tighten the nut again
securely after you have found the correct viewing
angle. Take care not to over tighten it.
• To adjust the viewing distance and/or the viewing
angle to the left or right, move the swing arm.
Then tighten the nuts again securely after you
have found the correct viewing angle using the Allen key and the spanner
wrench. Take care not to over tighten them.

Unfortunately, from time to time, faulty products are manufactured which need to

Please be aware that if your product is capable of retaining user-generated data
