General Information
oThis app iance is designed for domestic househo d use and can
be bui t into a standard kitchen cabinet or housing unit.
oIMPORTANT: The adjacent furniture or housing and all
materials used in the installation must be able to withstand a
minimum temperature of 85°C above the ambient temperature
of the room it is located in, whilst in use.
oCertain types of viny or aminate kitchen furniture are
particu ar y prone to heat damage or disco ouration at
temperatures be ow the guide ines given above.
oAny damage caused by the app iance being insta ed in
contravention of this temperature imit, or by p acing adjacent
cabinet materia s c oser than 4mm to the app iance, will be the
liability of the owner
oFor use in leisure accommodation vehicles, p ease refer to
the appropriate information given in the insta ation instructions
for this app iance.
oThe use of this app iance for any other purpose or in any other
environment without the express agreement of Baumatic Ltd.

does not remove the fact that the app iance surfaces will
become hot during use and retain heat after operation

are prevented from being near to the app iance and not a owed
to touch the app iance at any time.
oIf it is necessary for younger fami y members to be in the

door hinges.

with areas on the app iance that get hot.

oDo not attempt to ift or move cooking app iances by using the
oven door or hand e, as this may cause damage to the app iance
or resu t in injury to the person ifting the app iance.
Cleaning
oC eaning of the oven shou d be carried out on a regu ar basis.
oGreat care shou d be taken whi st using this app iance and when
fo owing the c eaning procedure.

mains before following the cleaning procedure.
Installation
This appliance must be correctly installed by a
suitably qualified person, strictly in accordance
with the manufacturer’s instructions
oBaumatic Ltd declines any responsibility for injury or
damage, to person or property, as a result of improper
use or installation of this appliance
oHeat, steam and moisture wi be created during use of the
app iance, take care to avoid injury and ensure that the room is
adequate y venti ated. If the app iance is going to be used for
pro onged periods of time, then additiona venti ation may be
required.
oP ease consu t with your qua ified insta er if you are in any doubt
about the amount of venti ation that you wi require.

Setting an using the oven programmer/timer
Selecting manual operation mo e
After your appliance is connected to your mains supply for the
first time, the numbers on the timer display will flash Before
you can select a cooking function or set a temperature, you
must set the appliance into manual operation mode
oTo se ect manua operation mode, press the manua operation
button (6) on the contro pane .
Before first use
oTo remove any residue from the oven that may have been eft
from the manufacturing process, you shou d se ect either the fan
or conventiona oven function and turn the thermostat dia to its
maximum temperature setting.
oIt is perfect y norma for a sme to be produced during this
process.
oYou shou d make sure that any windows in the room are eft
open during this process.
oIt is advisab e for you not to remain in the room whi st the
burning off process is taking p ace.
oYou shou d eave the oven on maximum setting for 30 – 40
minutes.
Setting the time of ay
After your appliance is connected to your mains supply for the first
time, you must set the time of day before you can use the oven.
oWhen the oven is connected to your mains supp y for the first
time (or after a power cut), the digits on the LED disp ay and
the automatic cooking symbo (1) wi f ash.
oPress and ho d down the manua operation button (6) for a
coup e of seconds. The automatic cooking symbo wi go out
and the digits wi remain steady.
oWhi st the decima point symbo (3) is f ashing, use the p us (7)
and minus (5) buttons to set the correct time of day.
oWhen the correct time of day is shown on the LED disp ay,
re ease the p us and minus buttons and wait a few seconds. The

decima point symbo wi stop f ashing and the oven is ready to
use.
The minute min er function
The minute minder function is a countdown time that can be set on the
oven programmer timer. When the countdown time has finished, an
audible signal will sound.
oPress and ho d down the manua operation button (6) unti the
decima point starts to f ash to enter programming mode.
oUse the p us (7) and minus (5) buttons to set the countdown
time that you require.
oThe maximum countdown time that can be set is 23 hours and
59 minutes.
oWhen the correct countdown time appears on the LED disp ay,
re ease the p us and minus buttons and the countdown wi start
immediate y.
oThe oven in use symbo (2) wi appear on the LED disp ay to
show that a countdown time is in progress.
oAfter a few seconds the LED disp ay wi return to showing the
time of day.
oAt the end of the countdown time, an audib e signa wi sound
and the oven in use symbo wi go out. The audib e signa wi
sound for 7 minutes before switching off or you can si ence it by
pressing any of the oven programmer/timer buttons.
oIMPORTANT: If the oven is in use whilst using the minute
minder function, the oven WILL NOT switch off at the end of the
countdown time. YOU MUST turn the oven function selector
knob and the thermostat control knob to their OFF positions.

The semi-automatic cooking function
This function will allow you to set a countdown time similar to the
minute minder function, however the oven will switch off at the end of
the cooking time.
oP ace the food that you want to cook inside of the oven and
c ose the door.
oSe ect an oven function and cooking temperature using the
re evant contro knobs.
oPress and ho d down the manua operation button (6) unti the
decima point starts to f ash to enter programming mode, the
oven in use symbo (2) wi appear on the LED disp ay.
oRe ease the manua operation button and then press it again.
The automatic cooking symbo (1) wi f ash and “dur” wi
appear brief y on the LED disp ay before showing “0.00”.
oUse the p us (7) and minus (5) buttons to set the cooking time
that you require.
oThe maximum countdown time that can be set is 10 hours.
oWhen the correct countdown time appears on the LED disp ay,
re ease the p us and minus buttons. Cooking wi begin
immediate y, after a few seconds the countdown time wi start.
oThe automatic cooking symbo and the oven in use symbo (2)
wi appear on the LED disp ay.
oAt the end of the cooking time, an audib e signa wi sound and
the automatic cooking symbo wi f ash on the LED disp ay.
oTo reset the oven and cance the audib e a arm, press the
manua operation button unti the oven in use symbo appears
on the LED disp ay and the automatic cooking symbo goes out.

The en of cooking function
This function is similar to the semi-automatic function, however
instead of setting a countdown time, you select the time of day that
you want the oven to switch off at.
oP ace the food that you want to cook inside of the oven and
c ose the door.
oSe ect an oven function and cooking temperature using the
re evant contro knobs.
oPress and ho d down the manua operation button (6) unti the
decima point starts to f ash to enter programming mode, the
minute minder symbo (4) wi appear on the LED disp ay.
oRe ease the manua operation button and then press it again.
The automatic cooking symbo (1) wi f ash and “dur” wi
appear on the LED disp ay.
oRe ease the manua operation button and then press it for a
third time, “end” wi appear brief y on the LED disp ay before
showing “0.00”.
oUse the p us (7) and minus (5) buttons to set the time of day
that you want the oven to switch off at.
oThe maximum countdown time that can be set is 10 hours.
oWhen the correct time of day appears on the LED disp ay,
re ease the p us and minus buttons. Cooking wi begin
immediate y, after a few seconds the countdown time wi start.
oThe automatic cooking symbo and the oven in use symbo (2)
wi appear on the LED disp ay.
oAt the end of the cooking time, an audib e signa wi sound and
the automatic cooking symbo wi f ash on the LED disp ay.

on the LED disp ay.
oThe app iance wi automatica y ca cu ate what time of day it
needs to switch the oven on at, so that it runs for the cooking
time that you set.
oWhen the oven switches on, the oven in use symbo (2) wi
appear on the LED disp ay, as we as the automatic cooking
symbo .
oAt the end of the cooking time, an audib e signa wi sound and
the automatic cooking symbo wi f ash on the LED disp ay.

oTo reset the oven and cance the audib e a arm, press the
manua operation button unti the oven in use symbo appears
on the LED disp ay and the automatic cooking symbo goes out.
oIMPORTANT: If you have not turned the oven function selector
knob and thermostat control knob to their OFF positions, when
you reset the oven it will continue to heat.
Cancelling the semi-automatic an automatic function
oPress and ho d down the minus (5) and p us (7) button
simu taneous y, unti the automatic cooking symbo (1) goes out
and the oven in use symbo (2) is it.
oIMPORTANT: If you do not turn the oven function selector
knob and thermostat control knob to their OFF positions, when
you reset the timer function, it will continue to heat.
Cancelling the minute min er function
oPress and ho d down the manua operation button (6) unti the
decima point starts to f ash to enter programming mode.
oPress and ho d down the minus (5) and p us (7) buttons
simu taneous y.
oThe minute minder symbo (4) wi go out.
oIMPORTANT: If you do not turn the oven function selector
knob and thermostat control knob to their OFF positions, when
you reset the timer function, it will continue to heat.
A justing the volume of the au ible signal
The volume of the audible signal has 3 levels, low, medium and high.
To adjust the volume, you should proceed as follows:-
oIMPORTANT: The oven timer programmer must not be in any
form of countdown mode and the oven in use symbol (2) must
be lit.
oPress and ho d down the minus (5) and p us (7) buttons
simu taneous y unti the decima point starts to f ash.
oPress the manua operation button (6) and the LED disp ay wi
show “n” fo owed by a number. 1 is the oudest vo ume, 2 is the
midd e vo ume and 3 is the quietest vo ume.
oUse the minus button to se ect the vo ume eve that you desire.

Changing the time of ay
oIMPORTANT: The oven timer programmer must not be in any
form of countdown mode and the oven in use symbol (2) must
be lit.
oPress and ho d down the minus (5) and p us (7) buttons
simu taneous y unti the decima point starts to f ash.
oRe ease these buttons and then use the minus and p us buttons
to a ter the time of day.
Selecting a cooking function an temperature
Selecting manual operation mo e
After your appliance is connected to your mains supply for the

you can select a cooking function or set a temperature, you
must set the appliance into manual operation mode
oTo se ect manua operation mode, press the manua operation
button (6) on the contro pane .
Selecting an oven function
The oven function se ector knob shou d be
used to se ect the particu ar mode of cooking
that you require. The app iance wi uti ise
different e ements within the oven cavity,
depending on the oven function that you
se ect. When a function is se ected, the power
indicator ight wi come on.
P ease note that the symbo s shown in the drawing above wi not
necessari y correspond EXACTLY with the symbo s on the contro knob
of the app iance itse f.
There are nine functions available on your appliance:
OVEN LIGHT: Separate ight contro which a ows the ight
to be switched on, even when the oven is switched off.
CONVENTIONAL OVEN (top and lower element): This
method of cooking provides traditiona cooking, with heat
from the top and ower e ements. This function is suitab e for

roasting and baking on one she f on y.
FAN AND LOWER ELEMENT: This method of cooking
uti ises the bottom e ement in conjunction with the fan,
which he ps to circu ate the heat. This function is suitab e for
steri izing and preserving jars.
HALF GRILL: This method of cooking uti ises the inner
sections of the top e ement, which directs heat downwards
onto the food. This function is suitab e for gri ing portions of
bacon, toast and meat etc.
FULL GRILL: This method of cooking uti ises the inner and
outer parts of the top e ement, which directs heat
downwards onto the food. This function is suitab e for
gri ing medium or arge portions of sausages, bacon,
steaks, fish etc.
FAN AND GRILL: This method of cooking uti ises the top
e ement in conjunction with the fan, which he ps to provide a
quick circu ation of heat. This function is suitab e where quick
browning is required and “sea ing” the juices in, such as
steaks, hamburgers, some vegetab es etc.
CONVENTIONAL OVEN & FAN: This method of cooking
provides traditiona cooking with heat from the top and
bottom e ement. It a so switches on the circu ation fan which
he ps to ensure fast, even distribution of the heat. This
function is suitab e for ight and de icate baking such as
pastries. You can cook on different she f eve s, as ong as
the food being cooked requires the same cooking
temperature.
FAN OVEN: This method of cooking uses the circu ar
e ement whi e the heat is distributed by the fan. This resu ts
in a faster and more economica cooking process. The fan
oven a ows food to be cooked simu taneous y on different
she ves, preventing the transmission of sme s and tastes
from one dish onto another.
DEFROST MODE: The fan runs without heat to reduce the
defrosting time of frozen foods. The time required to defrost
the food wi depend on the room temperature, the quantity
and type of food. A ways check food packaging for the
defrosting instructions.

Thermostat control knob
The oven thermostat contro knob sets the required
temperature of the oven. It is possib e to regu ate
the temperature within a range of 50 - 250°C.
Turn the control knob clockwise.
P ease note that the contro knob shown in the drawing above wi not
necessari y correspond EXACTLY with the contro knob on the
app iance itse f.
Oven operating light
This ight wi come on to indicate that the oven’s heating e ements are
in operation. The ight wi turn off when the temperature set on the
thermostat contro knob has been reached. It wi cyc e on and off
throughout the cooking time.
You should not place food inside the cavity, until the correct
cooking temperature has been reached
Cooking table
The tab e be ow shou d be regarded as a guide on y. Other factors can
inf uence the cooking resu t such as food quantity and qua ity, starting
temperature of food and persona preference.

Cooking gui elines
oP ease refer to the information given on food packaging for
guidance on cooking temperatures and times. Once fami iar with
the performance of your app iance, temperatures and times can
be varied to suit persona preference.
oIf you are using the fan oven function, then you shou d fo ow
the information given on the food packaging for this particu ar
mode of cooking.
oYou shou d pre-heat the oven and not p ace food inside of it unti
the oven operating ight has gone off. You can choose not to pre-
heat when using the fan oven mode; however you shou d extend
the cooking time given on the food packaging by at east ten
minutes.
oIMPORTANT: You should pre-heat the oven if you are baking no
matter what oven function you are using.
oIf there is no guidance given on the food packaging specifica y
for cooking in fan oven mode, you can genera y reduce the
cooking time and temperature by 10% from the information
given for conventiona oven cooking.
oMake sure that frozen foods are thorough y thawed before
cooking, un ess the instructions on the food packaging advise
that you can “cook from frozen”.
oBefore cooking, check that any accessories that are not required
are removed from the oven.
