3Important Points About Operating The Iron
• Your iron can overflow when filled with too
much water. To avoid this, make sure that
while the iron is standing upright you fill water
only up to the maximum line on the transpar-
ent water tank.
• The soleplate temperature must reach a
certain level in order for the iron to generate
steam. When the temperature setting is on the
steam mark and the steam button is on, “anti
drip” feature will prevent water drips until the
iron is sufficiently hot.
• In the first use, fill the iron with tap water and
vaporize twice before ironing. At the same
time, use the shock steam button frequently.
This will both increase steam performance and
clear away the dust that may have accumulat-
ed in the steam channels. After this operation,
always use the softened water that you will
obtain from the water-softening unit provided
with your iron. Otherwise, steam channels of
the iron will calcify in time to finally become
unusable. Never use the commercial ironing
water with chemical additives and aroma.
• There may be a slight odour during the first
use of your iron which will disappear after
using a few times.
• If you run out of water during ironing, add
water after you unplug the iron. You do not
need to wait for cooling down.
• If spraying is not functioning properly, put
your finger over the spray hole and press the
spray button a few times in order to remove
the clogging.
• While ironing, start with the clothes that
need warm ironing and go along with the ones
that need hot ironing. When the setting is low-
ered at high temperatures, you have to allow
3-4 minutes for the temperature to fall.
• A “click” sound will be heard when the sole-
plate temperature is changed because of the
anti-drip feature of your iron. Which is normal
operating feature.

Start with filling water in the iron. Al-
ways do the following checks before
filling water:
Water tank must be completely emp-
ty and the iron must be unplugged.
You can pour out the water in the
iron by opening the water-filling cap
and tilting the iron forward.
Then fill tap water into the upper part
of the water-softening unit that was
provided with your iron and place it
over the lower part. In a short time,
the water in the upper part shall
be filtered down to the lower part.
