1.1 General safety
• This appliance complies with the international
safety standards.
• This appliance is intended to be used in house-
hold and similar applications such as:
– Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other
working environments;
– Farm houses;
– By clients in hotels, motels and other residen-
tial type environments;
– Bed and Breakfast type environments
– It is not fit for industrial use.

• This appliance can be used by children who are
at the age of 8 and above and by people who
have reduced physical, perceptual or mental
abilities or by people who are deficient in terms
of experience and knowledge as long as they
are supervised and given the instructions re-
garding the safe use of the appliance and dan-
gers encountered. Children should not play with
the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
procedures should not be performed by children
unless they are supervised by an older person.
• Do not leave the product unattended while it is
plugged in.
• Operate and store the appliance on a stable sur-
face.
• When the appliance is placed on its base plate,
ensure that the surface beneath the plate is level.
• Do not use the appliance if the power cable or the
appliance itself is damaged. Contact an author-
ised service.

• The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped
and if there are visible signs of damage.
• When the appliance is not in use or left to cool
down keep the appliance and power cable out of
reach of children under 8 years old.
• The appliance is not suitable for using outdoors.
• Only use the original parts or parts recommended
by the manufacturer.
• Do not attempt to dismantle the appliance.
• Your mains power supply should comply with
the information supplied on the rating plate of
the appliance.
• The mains supply of the appliance must be se-
cured with a minimum 16 A fuse.
• Use the appliance with a grounded outlet only.
• Do not use the appliance with an extension cord.
• Do not pull the power cable when unplugging
the appliance.
• Unplug the appliance before cleaning it.

• Do not wrap the cable around the appliance.
• Do not touch the appliance or its plug with wet
or damp hands when the appliance is plugged in.
• The soleplate and its surrounding area can be
extremely hot. Contacting hot surfaces may
cause burns. Therefore while or just after using
the appliance, pay attention not to touch the hot
surfaces.
• Never use the appliance in or near to combusti-
ble or inflammable places and materials.
• If you keep the packaging materials, store them
out of the reach of children.

1.2 Complance wth WEEE Drectve and Dsposng of
the Waste Product
This product complies with EU WEEE Directive (2012/19/EU). This product
bears a classification symbol for waste electrical and electronic equipment
(WEEE).
This symbol indicates that this product shall not be disposed
with other household wastes at the end of its service life. Used
device must be returned to offical collection point for recycling
of electrical and electronic devices. To find these collection sys-
tems please contact to your local authorities or retailer where
the product was puchased. Each household performs important role in re-
covering and recycling of old appliance. Appropriate disposal of used appli-
ance helps prevent potential negative consequences for the environment
and human health.
1.3 Complance wth RoHS Drectve
The product you have purchased complies with EU RoHS Directive
(2011/65/EU). It does not contain harmful and prohibited materials speci-
fied in the Directive.
1.4 Package Informaton
Packaging materials of the product are manufactured from recy-
clable materials in accordance with our National Environment
Regulations. Do not dispose of the packaging materials together
with the domestic or other wastes. Take them to the packaging
material collection points designated by the local authorities.

2.1 Intended use
This appliance is intended only for household use, removing the creases on
your clothes and for various textile products including curtains; it is not suit-
able for professional use.
2.2 Before frst use
When using the iron for the rst time, you may notice a slight emission of
smoke and hear some sounds made by the expanding plastics. This is quite
normal and it stops after a short time.

•We also recommend passng the ron over an ordnary cloth
before usng t for the frst tme.
•Certan parts of the ron have been lghtly greased
therefore the ron could gve off a lttle smoke when
plugged n for the frst tme. Ths wll cease after a short
whle.
•Before usng the ron for the frst tme , remove the plastc
protector from the base (f t has one), and clean the base
wth a soft cloth.
•Keep the base very smooth. Do not run t over metal objects
(such as aganst the ronng board, buttons, zps, etc.)
2.3 Selectng the temperature
•Check the ronng nstructons on the garment to be roned.
•If the garment does not have any ronng nstructons, but you know the
knd of fabrc n queston, use the chart below.
•Fabrcs that have some knd of fnsh (polshng, wrnkles, contrasts, etc.)
can be roned at the lowest temperature.

•If the fabrc contans several knds of fbres, always select the lowest
temperature that s safe for all of the fbres n the garment. If an artcle
contans 60% polyester and 40% cotton, you must always choose the
temperature correspondng to polyester, whch s for “Synthetc” fabrc
type.
•Start by ronng the artcles requrng the lowest temperature such as
those made of synthetc fbres . Progress towards those that requre the
hghest temperatures as the ron does not cool down as fast as t heats
up.
2.4 Temperature and steam settngs table
When setting the temperature of the appliance, consider the following

3.1 Cleanng and care
•When you are fnshed wth ronng, unplug the applance.

•Never use gasolne, solvent and abrasve cleanng agents
or hard brush to clean ths applance.
•Do not attempt to dsassemble the applance.
•Wpe the sedments and resdues on the soleplate (4)wth
a slghtly damp cloth and soft, nonabrasve lqud cleaner
as necessary.
•Wpe outer surfaces wth a damp cloth.
•Avod operatng the applance n humd or most places.
•Do not locate the applance near a heat source or drect
sunlght.
3.2 Storage
If you do not intend to use the appliance for a long time, store it carefully.
•Before lftng the applance unplug t and then let t cool completely.
•Keep the applance and ts accessores n ther orgnal packages.
•Store t n a cool, dry place.
•Always keep the applance out of the reach of chldren.
3.3 Handlng and transportaton
•Durng handlng and transportaton, carry the applance n ts orgnal
packagng. The packagng of the applance protects t aganst physcal
damages.
•Do not place heavy loads on the applance or the packagng. The applance
may be damaged.
•Droppng the applance wll render t non-operatonal or cause permanent
damage.

For commissioning, general use and cleaning, please observe the in-
structions on page 4 of this operating manual.
4.1 Defects and repars
Do not attempt to replace a damaged power cord. The appliance has to be
returned to an authorized service centre for repair.
Problem Possible solution
Iron emits an odor or
smoke
Iron gives off an odor when turned on for the first
time. Oils used during manufacture need to be burnt
off, allow ten minutes for odor to disappear.
Iron does not heat The iron should be plugged into a 230 Volt , AC elec-
trical outlet only. The temperature dial must be set
to the desired temperature.

• Perangkat ini dapat digunakan oleh anak-anak
berusia 8 tahun ke atas dan orang-orang dengan
kemampuan fisik, kemampuan perseptual atau
mental yang berkurang atau oleh orang-orang
yang kurang berpengalaman dan berpengeta-
huan selama mereka diawasi dan diberikan in-
struksi mengenai penggunaan peralatan dengan
cara yang aman dan memahami bahaya yang ada.
Anak-anak tidak boleh bermain-main dengan
peralatan ini. Prosedur pembersihan dan pemeli-
