SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Bef re perating the tester, read the user guide and the safety
instructi ns.
The acid c ntained in the batteries is highly c rr sive and may burn the
skin.
The gas released by the batteries may cause fires r expl si ns.
When w rking n h t engines, d n t t uch engine c mp nents which may
reach high perating temperatures t av id p ssible burns (c mp nents
such as exhaust manif ld, turb charger, etc).
When w rking with an pen b nnet, s me m ving parts with ut guards
may be present (such as pulleys and belts); als , when w rking with
engine n t running, the turb charger may start.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
THE BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR TESTER sh uld ONLY be used with 12V
startup batteries.
T ensure m re accuracy during the test, the c nnecti n sh uld be made n the p le
and n t n the terminal.
The tester is perated by the battery being tested and is pr tected fr m inversi n f
p larity and verv ltage.
T ensure ptimal test results, it is advisable n t t use the battery f r at
least ne h ur after charging it r after a high draw f current.
During the recharging perati n, the battery v ltage is greatly increased
and c uld theref re cause the tester t give an inc rrect result.
When testing new, dry charged batteries, it is advisable t wait a few h urs after
intr ducing the acid, t all w the battery t reach its full capacity. Testing the batteries
s n after filling them up may cause inc rrect results.
