marked on the rating label of the heated underblanket, only.
•Theelectricandmagneticfieldsemittedbythiselectricalheatedunder-
blanket may possibly interfere with the operation of pacemakers. How-
ever, they are well below the permissible limits: electric field strength:
maximum of 5,000 V/m, magnetic field strength: maximum of 80 A/m,
magnetic flux density: maximum of 0.1 millitesla. Please therefore ask
your doctor and the manufacturer of your pacemaker before using this
product.
•Donotpull,twistormakeanysharpkinksinthecords.
•Thisheatedunderblanketmustbeexaminedfrequentlyforsignsof
wear or damage.
If there are such signs, if the heated underblanket has been misused
or does not work, return it to the supplier before switching it on again.
•Ifthesupplycordisdamaged,itmustbereplacedbythemanufacturer,
its service agent or similar qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
•Whilethisheatedunderblanketisswitchedon
– never place any objects on it (e.g. suitcases or laundry basket),
– never place any heat source on it, such as a hot water bottle, heat-
ing pad etc.
•Wheninuse,theelectroniccomponentsintheswitchoftheheated
underblanket make the switch slightly warm. The switch should there-
fore never be covered or placed on the heated underblanket when it is
in operation.
