so that the belt moves and
lubricates properly. If you lubricate
after exercise (the belt and the band
still warm), the lubrication will be
even better.
Once the lubricant has been applied
you should neither fold nor use the
machine for a few hours. This will
allow the belt to get well
impregnated.
If the belt starts to slip after
lubrication, then check the tension
of the belt. To tension the belt, take
the 6mm Allen key and with the
machine set to 4km/h turn screws
(R & L) one turn in a clockwise
direction.
ATTENTION: It is the user's
responsibility to periodically check
the lubrication level of the belt. To
do this, unplug the treadmill from
the electrical outlet; place one hand
between the belt and the surface of
the board to ensure that both
surfaces are lubricated, especially
in the area where you place your feet
during the exercise.
Please note that insufficient
maintenance or the use of
unsuitable products may lead to
loss of warranty.
Lubrication frequency:
For optimal maintenance, BH
recommends the use of it´s own
brand silicone-based lubricant.
As a general guideline, BH
recommends lubricating the belt at
least once a month or
approximately every 30 hours of
use (whichever happens first).
Use in very dry, hot or dusty
environments, by heavy people
and/or walking regularly at a slow
pace (<5km / h) increase the need
for lubrication. Depending on the
case, it may be necessary to
lubricate every fifteen days or even
every week.
Using another brand lubricant or
another type of lubricant may
require more frequent lubrication,
and may even damage the belt
and/or the board and cause motor
and other parts failure.
7 ADJUSTING THE BELT.-
CAUTION: Before using the
machine, turn it on and check that
the belt is centered. If necessary,
follow the steps below.
If your unit is not seated evenly on the
four contact points, this may cause the
belt (X) to shift sideways.
If the belt does shift to the left or right,
stop the machine.
BELT OFFSET TO THE RIGHT.-
This procedure is very important. Follow
these steps. In order to adjust the belt,
set the unit in motion at a speed of
4km/h. If the belt has moved to the right,
turn screw (R) on the right-hand side of
the machine a 1Ú4 turn clockwise. Note
the position of the belt, if after one minute
the belt is not completely centred then
repeat the operation. If you see that the
belt has moved too far over to the left
then turn the right screw back slightly in
an anticlockwise direction. Fig.6.
As soon as you have adjusted the belt
you can begin exercising again.
BELT OFFSET TO THE LEFT.-
In the event that the belt has moved to
the left, turn screw (L) on the left-hand
side of the machine a 1Ú4 turn clockwise.
Note the position of the belt, if after one
minute the belt is not completely centred
then repeat the operation.
