USER
The user is defined as the person authorized to collect drinks from the automatic distributor.
The user is not allowed to undertake any maintenance operations either ordinary or extraordinary.
In the event of a fault the user is obliged to notify the maintenance technician or the person responsible
for running the automatic distributor.
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
The maintenance technician is defined as being the person responsible for filling up the containers with
soluble products, sugar, coffee, stirrers and cups.
The maintenance technician is also responsible for cleaning the distributor (see operations indicated in
chapter 9. ). In the event of a fault the maintenance technician must call the installation technician.
INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN
The installation technician is defined as the person responsible for the installation of the automatic distributor,
the starting up operations and the function settings.
Each regulation operation is the exclusive responsibility of the installation technician who also holds the
programming access password.

1.0 PREMISE
1.1 Important notices
This au oma ic dis ribu or has been designed and cons ruc ed in
full accordance wi h curren safe y regula ions and is herefore
safe for hose who follow he ordinary filling and cleaning
ins ruc ions as indica ed in his manual.
The user must not under any circumstances remove the
guards that require a tool for removal.
Some main enance opera ions ( o be done solely by specialized
echnicians and indica ed in his manual wi h a special symbol)
require ha specific safe y pro ec ions of he machine mus be
swi ched off .
In accordance wi h he curren safe y regula ions, cer ain
opera ions are he exclusive responsibili y of he ins alla ion
echnician, and he ordinary main enance echnician may have
access o specific opera ions on wi h specific au horiza ion.
The acquain ance and absolu e respec , from a echnical poin of
view, of he safe y ins ruc ions and of he danger no ices con ained
in his manual, are fundamen al for he execu ion, in condi ions
of minimum risk, for he ins alla ion, use and main enance of
his machine.
1.2 General Instructions
Knowledge of the information and instructions
contained in the present manual is essential for a
correct use of the automatic vending machine on
the part of the user .
Interventions by the user on the automatic vending machine
are allowed only if they are of his competence and if he has
been duly trained.
The installation technician must be fully acquainted with all
the mechanisms necessary for the correct operation of the
machine.
 It is the buyers responsibility to ascertain that the users have
been trained and are informed and regulations indicated in
the technical documentation supplied.
Despite the full observance of the safety regulations by the
constructor, those who operate on the automatic dispensers
must be fully aware of the potential risks involved in operations
on the machine.
 This manual is an integral part of the equipment and as such
must always remain inside of the same, so as to allow further
consultations on the part of the various operators, until the
dismantlement and/or scrapping of the machine.
 In case of loss or damage of the present manual it is possible
receive a new copy making application to the manufacturer,
with prior indication of the data registered on machines serial
number.
 The functional reliability and optimization of machines services
are guaranteed only if original parts are used.
Modifications to the machine not previously agreed on with the
construction company and undertaken by the installation
technician and/or manager, are considered to be under his
entire responsibility.

All the operations necessary to maintain the machines
efficiency, before and during its use are at the users charge.
 Any manipulations or modifications made to the machine that
are not previously authorized by the manufacturer, relieve the
latter from any responsibility for damages deriving from, and
will automatically result in the cancellation of the machine
guarantee terms.
 This manual reflects the status at the moment of the emission
of the automatic vending machine on the market; possible
modifications, upgrading, adaptments that are done the
machine and that are subsequently commercialized do not
oblige NUOVA BIANC I neither to intervene on the machine
previously supplied, nor, neither to update the relative technical
documentation supplied together with the machine.
 It is however NUOVA BIANC Is faculty, when deemed op-
portune and for valid motives, to adjourn the manuals already
present on the market, sending to their customers adjournment
sheets that must be kept in the original manual.
Possible technical problems that could occur are easily resolvable
consulting this manual ; For further information, contact the
distributor from whom the machine has been purchased, or contact
Nuova Bianchis Technical Service at the following numbers:
When calling it is advisable to be able to give the following
information:
lThe data registered on the serial number label (Fig.1.1)
lversion of program contained in the microprocessor (adhesive
label applied to the component the assembled on the Master
board ) (Fig.1.2).
Nuova Bianchi S.p.A. declines any responsibility for damages
caused to people or belongings in consequence to:
l Incorrect installation
l Inappropriate electrical and/or water connection.
l Inadequate cleaning and maintenance
l Not authorized modifications
l Improper use of the distributor
l Not original spare parts
Under no circumstances is Nuova Bianchi spa obliged to com-
pensate for eventual damage resulting from the forced
suspension of drink deliveries as the result of faults.
Installation and maintenance operations , must be done
exclusively by qualified technical personnel with prior training
for carrying out these duties.
For refilling use only food products that are specific for
automatic vending machines.
The automatic distributor is not suitable for external installation.
The machine must be installed in dry places, with temperatures
that never go below 1°C it must not be installed in places
where cleaning is done with water hoses (ex. big kitchens.).
Do not use water jets to clean the machine.
If at the moment of the installation, if conditions differing from
those indicated in the present manual, or should the same
undergo changes in time, the manufacturer must be
immediately contacted before use of the machine.
 Also check that any other eventual norms or regulations as
laid down by national or local legislation are taken into account
and applied.

3.2 Foreseen use
The au oma ic dis ribu or is exclusively for
he dispensing of drinks, prepared mixing
food subs ances wi h wa er (by infusion as
far as concerns espresso coffee).
For his purpose use produc s declared as
sui able by he manufac urer for au oma ic
dis ribu ion in open con ainers. The drinks
are made in specific plas ic cups
au oma ically dispensed by he machine.
Where foreseen, also he spoon for mixing
he sugar is dispensed.
The drinks mus be consumed immedia ely
and in no case are o be kep for subsequen
consump ion.
3.3 Models
The following erminology is used so as o

3.4 Basic operation concepts
During he normal func ioning he dis ribu or is se in s andby

In roducing he necessary amoun , according o he se price,
and af er pressing he key rela ive o he desired drink, he drink
dispensing cycle is ac iva ed and can be divided in o differen
processes:
CUP DISPENSING
 I is he firs opera ion ha he dis ribu or s ar s (excep for
he selec ions wi h pre-selec ion wi hou CUP).
 he mo or inside of he cup dispenser moves he plas ic gear
o separa e and make he cup fall in o he cup ring inside he
cup dispenser (Fig.3.2).
SUGAR DISPENSER
Where se and reques ed , an amoun of sugar in he prese
maximum dose is dispensed wi h he possibili y of s opping he
la er a he desired dose.
The sugar is dispensed direc ly in he cup in he E versions whereas
for he I versions i is pre-mixed wi h he ins an drinks.
The dispensing procedure occurs according o he following
phases:
1. he geared mo or ac iva es he helicoidal screw conveyor of
he sugar produc con ainer, dispensing he desired quan i y
in o he produc chu es (Fig.3.3)
2. The geared mo or is ac iva ed and by means of he cam, i
effec s he movemen of he produc chu e , in order o make
sugar o fall in o he cup (Fig. 3.4).

SPOON DISPENSING
This process is ac iva ed only in he versions where he spoon
dispenser is foreseen (E); In hese versions i is possible o selec
he spoon in he selec ions wi hou sugar and/ or in he ins an
selec ions .
In he I models he spoon dispenser is no foreseen as he sugar
comes pre-mixed wi h he ins an beverages.

INSTANT DRINKS
This process is ac iva ed when he cup and spoon dispensing
processes have been comple ed.
According o he ype drink reques ed and o he dis ribu or model,
several of he various processes described here below can be
ac iva ed.

 The elec rovalve assembled on he ins an boiler (Fig.3.7) or

in o he mixer (in some versions more han one produc can

ESPRESSO COFFEE
This process func ions only he models equipped wi h he coffee
espresso group (brass or plas ic), af er he cup and sugar
dispensing processes have been effec ed.

The sequence of hese opera ions (grinding and coffee dispensing)
could occur in inverse order according o he ype of programme
used.

4.0 MOVING AN AUTOMATIC VENDING
MACHINE
4.1 Moving and transport (Fig.4.1)
The ranspor of he dis ribu or mus be effec ed by compe en
personnel.
The dis ribu or is delivered on a palle ; for he shif ing use a
rolley and move i slowly in order o avoid capsizing or dangerous
movemen s.
Avoid :
 lifting the distributor with ropes or presses
 dragging the distributor
 upset or lay down the distributor during transport
 give jolts to the distributor
Avoid as he dis ribu or:
 bumping it
 overloading it with other packages
 exposing it to rain, to cold or sources of heat
 keeping it in damp places
The cons ruc ion company is no liable for any damage which
may be caused for he par ial or comple e non-observance of he
warning no ices indica ed above.
4.2 stocking
For even ual s ocking, avoid laying several machines over each
o her, main ain i in ver ical posi ion, in dry places wi h
empera ures no inferior o 1°C (Fig.4.2).
4.3 Packing
The dis ribu or is pro ec ed wi h polys yrene angles and by a
ransparen film in polypropylene (Fig.4.2).
The au oma ic dis ribu or will be delivered packed, assuring bo h
a mechanical pro ec ion and pro ec ion agains damages from
he ex ernal environmen .
On he package labels are applied indica ing:

4.4 Reception
Upon recep ion of he au oma ic dis ribu or you need o check
ha he same has no suffered damages during he ranspor .
If damages of any na ure are no iced place a claim wi h he
forwarder immedia ely.
At the end of the transport the packing must result
without damages which means it must not :
 presen den s, signs of bumps, deforma ions or damages of
he ex ernal packaging
 presen we zones or signs ha could lead o suppose ha he
packing has been exposed o rain, cold or hea .
 presen signs of ampering
4.5 Unpacking
 Free he dis ribu or from he packaging , cu ing he pro ec ive
film in which i is wrapped, along one of he pro ec ion angles
(Fig.4.3).

5.0 SAFETY NORMS

Always disconnect the POWER CABLE before
maintenance or cleaning interventions.
ABSOLUTELY DO NOT INTERVENE ON THE MACHINE AND
DO NOT REMOVE ANY PROTECTION BEFORE THE
COOLING OF THE HOT PARTS!

where cleaning is done with water hoses (ex. big kitchens).
Do not use water jets to clean the machine.

a minimum of -1°C and a maximum of +32°C end humidi y of
no over 70%.

6.0 INSTALLATION
6.1 Positioning
As already specified in paragraph 5.0, Safe y regula ions, he
dis ribu or is no sui able for ex ernal ins alla ion. The machine
mus be connec in dry places, wi h empera ures ha never go
below 1°C i mus no be ins alled in places where cleaning is
done wi h wa er hoses(ex. big ki chens). I mus be ins alled in
places wi hou danger of explosions or fires.
 If posi ioned near o a wall, here mus be a minimum dis ance
from he wall of a leas 5 cm. (Fig.6.1) so as o allow a regular
ven ila ion. In no case cover he dis ribu or wi h clo hs or similar.
 Posi ion he dis ribu or, checking he leveling by means of he
adjus able fee already assembled on he machines (Fig.6.2).

more han 2 degrees.
WARNING! Do no posi ion he device near inflammable
objec s, keep a minimum safe y dis ance of 30 cm.
Nuova Bianchi declines all responsibility for inconveniences due
to the non observance of the above mentioned installation norms.
If he ins alla ion is made in safe y evacua ion corridors make
sure ha wi h he dis ribu or door open here is anyhow sufficien
space o pass by(Fig.6.1).
So as o avoid ha he floor ge s dir y, due o acciden al spilling
of he produc s, use, if necessary, under he dis ribu or, a pro ec ion
sufficien ly wide o cover he dis ribu ors opera ing space.
6.2 Connection to the main water supply
Before proceeding wi h he connec ion of he dis ribu or o he
wa er main supply verify he following wa er charac eris ics:
 ha i is drinkable (even ually hrough an labora orys analysis
cer ifica ion)
 i has a pressure comprised be ween 0.5 and 6.5 bar (if his
should no be he case, use a pump or a wa er pressure, reducer
according o he case).

6.3 Main Power supply connection
The dis ribu or is predisposed o func ion wi h mono-phase 230
Vol ension and is pro ec ed wi h 10A and 20A fuses.
We suggest to check that:
 he ension of ne of 230 V doesn have a difference of more
han ± 6%
 The power supply ou pu is able o bear he power load of he
machine.
 use a sys em of diversified pro ec ion
 posi ion he machine in such a way as o ensure ha he plug
remains accessible
The machine mus be connec ed o ear h in observance wi h he
curren safe y norms.
For his reason, verify he plan s ear h wire connec ion o ascer ain
ha i is efficien and i answers na ional and European safe y
elec ric s andards. If necessary require he in erven ion qualified
personnel for he verifica ion of he plan .
 The dis ribu or is equipped wi h a power supply cable of H05VV-

6.4 Starting up of the unit
The dis ribu or is equipped wi h a safe y swi ch (Fig.6.9) ha
disconnec s he machine whenever he door is opened ( see elec ric
schema).
In case of necessi y, herefore, open he door or disconnec
unplugging of he machine from he power supply.
The clamp of the power cable junction box remain
under tension (Fig.6.1 -pos.1) as well as the
service switch inside the distributor. (Fig.6.11-
pos.1).
 For some opera ions is however necessary opera e wi h he
door open bu wi h he dis ribu or connec ed.
I is possible for ins alla ion echnician, o opera e in his way,
by inser ing he special plas ic key, supplied wi h he dis ribu or,
in o he door swi ch and ro a ing i 90° (Fig.6.12).
The opening and the possible connection with the
distributors door open must be performed only by
authorized in carrying out these operations.
Dont leave the distributor open and unguarded.
Give he key only o qualified personnel.

6.5 Installation
6.5.1 Water Softener Resin regeneration

 filling of he floa er wa er reservoir
 a he same ime he ins an boiler will be filled (if ins alled).

food substances

Use only cups sui able for au oma ic vending machines, wi h a
diame er of more han 70-71 mm, avoid compressing he cups
be ween hemselves during he loading. DONT TRY TO ROTATE
THE TURRET MANUALLY.
