Foreword
The air in houses and offices is often harmful due to
uAirborne dust,
uNumerous noxious substances,
uSmoke and odors,
uAllergy-inducing substances such as pollen, animal hair and dust mites.
The possible health risks range from weariness, tiredness and poor
concentration, up to and including asthma attacks, allergic reactions and serious
illnesses. For these health problems, from which an e er increasing number of
people suffer, the term Sick Building Syndrome has been coined.
Tips for your health
The use of an air purifier does not replace the regular airing of rooms.
The purifier impro es the air quality, howe er it cannot remo e the sources of
harmful substances.
If you ha e the feeling that the symptoms of your health problems are related to
harmful effects in houses and offices, then ha e a thorough medical checkup and
also ha e specific tests performed for harmful substances in the body. Depending
on the results, a biological in estigation of the building may be recommendable.
Appliance description
The Air Purifier AOS 2061 pro ides for clean, healthy air with
u2 particle filters for fine dust and the smallest suspended matter,
u1 acti ated carbon filter for harmful gases and odors,
uA fragrance capsule for the use with essential oils.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
 Prior to using the appliance, read through the instructions for use completely
and retain in a safe place for future reference.
 WARNING  Only use the appliance indoors and within the specified technical
data. Improper use can be hazardous for the health and lead to critical injury.
 Place appliance where it is not easily knocked o er by persons in the
household.
 Always unplug when not in use.
 Do not run power cords under carpets, and do not co er with throw rugs.
Arrange cord such that it will not be tripped o er.
 Do not use the appliance where combustible gases or apors are present.
 Do not expose the appliance to rain, or use near water, in a bathroom, laundry
area or other damp location.
 This unit must be used in its upright position.
 Do not allow foreign objects to enter entilation or exhaust opening as this may
cause electric shock or damage to the appliance. Do not block air outlets or
intakes.
 This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To
reduce risk of shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, re erse the plug. If it still does not
fit, contact a qualified electrician. DO NOT attempt to defeat this safety feature.
 A loose fit between the plug and the AC outlet (receptacle) may cause
o erheating and a distortion of the plug. Contact a qualified electrician to
replace loose or worn receptacles.
 Do not sit, stand or place any hea y objects on the appliance.
 Disconnect power supply before ser icing.
 Children cannot recognize the hazards associated with the use of electrical
appliances. For this reason, whene er the appliance is switched on, always
super ise children when they are near the appliance.
 Persons who are not familiar with the instructions for use, as well as children
and persons under the influence of medication, alcohol, or drugs are not permitted
to operate the appliance, or are only permitted to operate it under super ision.
