GmbH. Bitte lesen Sie die vorliegende Gebrauchsanweisung
sorgfältig durch. Bei Fragen wenden Sie sich an Ihren Arzt oder
Fachhandel von dem Sie dieses Medizinprodukt erhalten haben.
Zweckbestimmung
Bei diesem Medizinprodukt handelt es sich um Kompressions-
strümpfe zur Langzeittherapie von phlebologischen und/oder
lymphologischen Erkrankungen sowie zur Langzeittherapie
eines Lipödems.
Indikationen
CCL 1:
Schädigung der venösen Gefäßfunktion/-struktur am Bein
(z.B. geringe Varikose, beginnende Schwangerschaftvarikose)
mit leicht ausgeprägter Schwellneigung, leichtem Ödemrisiko,
Schweregefühl, zur Ödemreduktion, Beschwerde- und Schmerz-
linderung.
CCL 2:
Schädigung der venösen/lymphatischen Gefäßfunktion/
-struktur am Bein (z.
B. Schwangerschaftsvarikose mit Ödem,
nach Varizenstripping/Sklerosierung/venenchirurgischen
Eingrien, nach Thrombophlebitis, nach Abheilung venöser
Ulzera, akute Thrombose) mit mäßig ausgeprägter Schwell-
neigung, Ödem, zur Ödemreduktion, Beschwerde- und
Schmerzlinderung, Rezidivprophylaxe nach venösen Ulzera.
CCL 3:
Schädigung der venösen/lymphatischen Gefäßfunktion/-struktur
am Bein (z.B. akute Thrombose, postthrombotische Insuzienz,
Lymphödem ab Stadium II, Ulcus cruris venosum) mit erheblich
ausgeprägter Schwellneigung, Ödem, gegebenenfalls Haut-
veränderung, zur Ödemreduktion, Beschwerde- und Schmerz-
linderung, Behandlung venöser Ulzera.
CCL 4:
Schädigung der venösen/lymphatischen Gefäßfunktion/
-struktur und der Haut/Unterhaut am Bein (z.
B. Lymphödem
ab Stadium III, Elephantiasis) mit erheblich ausgeprägter bis
voll ausgeprägter Schwellneigung, Ödem, Hautveränderung,
zur Ödemreduktion, Beschwerde- und Schmerzlinderung.

Kontraindikationen
Absolute Kontraindikationen:
Fortgeschrittene periphere arterielle Verschlusskrankheit,
dekompensierte Herzinsuzienz, septische Phlebitis,
Phlegmasia coerulea dolens.
Relative Kontraindikationen:
Ausgeprägte nässende Dermatosen, Unverträglichkeit auf
Kompressionsstrumpfmaterial, schwere Sensibilitätsstörungen
der Extremität, fortgeschrittene periphere Neuropathie (z. B.
Diabetes mellitus), primär chronische Polyarthritis.
Anwendungsrisiken/Wichtige Hinweise
Dieses Medizinprodukt ist ein verordnungsfähiges Produkt.
Sprechen Sie Anwendung und Dauer mit Ihrem verordnenden
Arzt ab. Die Auswahl der geeigneten Größe und eine Ein-
weisung erfolgt durch das Fachpersonal, von dem Sie das
Medizinprodukt erhalten haben.
– bei anhaltenden Beschwerden, Schmerzen, Taubheitsgefühl,
Veränderungen der Hautfarbe, das Auftreten von Wunden
oder Schwellungen, Produkt ablegen und den Arzt oder
Fachhandel aufsuchen
– Medizinprodukt indikationsgerecht einsetzen
– gleichzeitige Nutzung weiterer kompressiver
Medizinprodukte nur nach Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt
– keine eigenmächtigen Veränderungen am Produkt vornehmen
– nicht auf oenen Wunden tragen
– nicht verwenden bei Unverträglichkeiten gegen eines der
verwendeten Materialien
– kein Wiedereinsatz – dieses Hilfsmittel ist zur Versorgung
eines Patienten bestimmt
– während der Tragedauer des Medizinprodukts: ausschließlich
vom Hersteller zugelassene und empfohlene Hautpflegepro-
dukte verwenden. Ungeeignete Hautpflegeprodukte können
das Material zerstören.
Anziehanleitung für Kompressionsstrümpfe/-strumpfhosen
mit geschlossener Fußspitze
 Den Strumpf/die Strumpfhose über den Unterarm ziehen
und von innen die Ferse greifen.
 Ferse festhalten, den Strumpf /die Strumpfhose herausziehen und bis zur Ferse auf links wenden.

Tipp: Verwenden Sie für die nun folgenden Schritte die BORT
AktiVen®Spezial-Handschuhe.
 Den übereinander liegenden Sto am Fersenbereich
greifen und mit dem Fuß so weit hineinschlüpfen, bis
das Fersengestrick an der Ferse sitzt.
Tipp: Für die Strumpfhose Schritt 1– 5 zuerst mit einem Bein
durchführen, anschließend für das zweite Bein wiederholen.
 Den Strumpf/die Strumpfhose nach und nach über die Ferse ziehen und so gleichzeitig wieder auf rechts
wenden.
 Nun den Strumpf/die Strumpfhose Schritt für Schritt nach oben in Richtung Knie streifen und mit der flachen
Hand gleichzeitig an das Bein anmodellieren. Dabei niemals
am oberen Rand ziehen!
Tipp: Haftrand (falls vorhanden) vor dem Anziehen umstülpen.
 Für die Strumpfhose nun Schritt 1– 5 mit dem zweiten Bein wiederholen. Beide Seiten wieder auf rechts
wenden und partienweise an beiden Beinen hochstreifen.
Danach den Sitz des Gestricks mit der flachen Hand korrigieren.
 Zum Schluss das Leibteil bis zur Taille hochziehen und
beachten, dass sich der Zwickel senkrecht im Schritt
befindet.
Anziehanleitung für Kompressionsstrümpfe/-strumpfhosen
mit oener Fußspitze
 Mit dem Fuß in die Schlupfhilfe schlüpfen.
 Den Strumpf/die Strumpfhose bis oberhalb der Ferse auf links wenden, im Fesselbereich mit beiden Händen
fassen und über die Schlupfhilfe bis zur Ferse ziehen.
Tipp: Verwenden Sie für die nun folgenden Schritte die BORT
AktiVen®Spezial-Handschuhe
 Nun den Strumpf/die Strumpfhose Schritt für Schritt nach oben in Richtung Knie streifen und mit der flachen
Hand gleichzeitig an das Bein anmodellieren. Dabei niemals
am oberen Rand ziehen!

Tipp: Haftrand (falls vorhanden) vor dem Anziehen umstülpen.
 Die Schlupfhilfe an der Spitze greifen und aus dem Strumpf/der Strumpfhose nach vorne herausziehen.
 Für die Strumpfhose nun Schritt 1 –4 mit dem zweiten Bein wiederholen. Danach den Sitz des Gestricks mit
der flachen Hand korrigieren.
 Zum Schluss das Leibteil bis zur Taille hochziehen und
beachten, dass sich der Zwickel senkrecht im Schritt
befindet.
Achtung: Ihre Kompressionsstrümpfe/-strumpfhosen
dürfen nie verdreht werden. Verteilen Sie den Strumpf/
die Strumpfhose in Etappen von unten nach oben.
Diese Tipps erleichtern das Anziehen:
– Ziehen Sie die Kompressionsstrümpfe/-strumpfhose
morgens gleich nach dem Aufstehen bzw. nach einer
Lymphdrainage an.
– Raue, ungefeilte Fingernägel, scharfkantige Ringe sowie
Zehennägel, Hornhaut und defekte Schuhinnenfutter
können das Gestrick beschädigen.
– Verwenden Sie bitte stets BORT AktiVen
®
Spezial-Handschuhe
zum Anziehen der Kompressionsstrümpfe/-strumpfhose.
Ablegen
Zum Ablegen der Kompressionsstrümpfe/-hosen diese von
oben her und nach unten über den Fuß ziehen.
Materialzusammensetzung
Polyamid (PA), Elasthan (EL)
Die genaue Materialzusammensetzung entnehmen Sie bitte
dem eingenähten Textiletikett.
Reinigungshinweise
Vor dem Waschen müssen alle Verschlüsse (falls
vorhanden) geschlossen werden! Strümpfe mit Haft- und
Spitzenhaftband bitte stets auf links waschen. Waschen Sie die
Kompressionsstrümpfe beim ersten Mal separat (Möglichkeit
des Ausfärbens). Ihre Kompressionsstrümpfe sollten möglichst
täglich von Hand oder im Schon-/Feinwaschgang (40°C)
gewaschen werden. Wir empfehlen für BORT AktiVen®

Medizinische Kompressionsstrümpfe die Verwendung von
BORT Spezial-Waschmittel. Tipp: Ein Wäschenetz schützt das
Gestrick zusätzlich. Bei Handwäsche reichlich spülen, nicht
wringen. Sie können die Trockenzeit verkürzen, indem Sie die
Kompressionsstrümpfe nach dem Waschen auf ein dickes
Frotteehandtuch legen, fest einrollen und kräftig ausdrücken.
Dann die Strümpfe lose aufhängen. Nicht im Handtuch liegen
lassen und nicht auf der Heizung oder in der Sonne trocknen.
Die Kompressionsstrümpfe dürfen nicht chemisch gereinigt
werden. Bitte beachten Sie die Pflegehinweise auf dem
eingenähten Textiletikett.

Gewährleistung
Für das erworbene Produkt gelten die gesetzlichen
Bestimmungen des Landes, in dem Sie das Produkt bezogen
haben. Bitte wenden Sie sich an Ihren Fachhandel, sollten
Sie einen Gewährleistungsfall vermuten. Bitte das Produkt
vor Einreichung eines Gewährleistungsfalles reinigen.
Wurden beiliegende Hinweise der Gebrauchsanweisung
nicht ausreichend beachtet, so kann die Gewährleistung
beeinträchtigt werden bzw. entfallen. Ausgeschlossen ist eine
Gewährleistung bei nicht indikationsgerechter Anwendung,
Nichtbeachtung der Anwendungsrisiken, -hinweise sowie
eigenmächtig vorgenommenen Änderungen am Produkt.
Nutzungsdauer/Lebensdauer des Produkts
Bei regelmäßigem und bestimmungsgemäßem Gebrauch wird
eine Nutzungsdauer von 6 Monaten zugesichert.
Meldepflicht
Kommt es bei der Anwendung des Medizinproduktes zu einer
schwerwiegenden Verschlechterung des Gesundheitszustandes,
dann melden Sie dies Ihrem Fachhändler oder uns als Her-
steller sowie dem BfArM (Bundesinstitut für Arzneimittel und

carefully. If you have any questions, please refer to your
physician or the specialist retailer from whom you purchased
this medical device.
Intended purpose
This medical device is a pair of medical compression stockings
for long-term therapy of phlebological and/or lymphological
diseases and for long-term lipoedema therapy.
Indications
CCL 1:
Damage to the venous vessel function/structure on the leg
(e.g. slight varicosis, the onset of varicosis accompanying
pregnancy) with a slightly pronounced tendency for swelling,
low oedema risk, heaviness feeling, for the reduction of
oedema, complaint and pain alleviation.
CCL 2:
Damage to the venous/lymphatic vessel function/structure
on the leg (e.g. varicosis accompanying pregnancy with
oedema, after varicose vein stripping/sclerotherapy/surgical
venous procedures, after thrombophlebitis, after venous ulcers
heal, acute thrombosis) with moderately pronounced swelling
tendency, oedema, for the reduction of oedema, ailment and
pain relief, relapse prevention following venous ulcers.
CCL 3:
Damages to the venous/lymphatic vessel function/structure on
the leg (e.g. acute thrombosis, postthrombotic insuciency,
lymphoedema from stage II, venous leg ulcer) with a significantly
pronounced swelling tendency, oedema, possibly skin changes,
for oedema reduction, complaint and pain relief, treatment of
venous ulcers.
CCL 4:
Damages to the venous/lymphatic vessel function/structure and
the skin/subcutaneous tissue of the leg (e.g. lymphoedema
from stage III, elephantiasis) with considerably pronounced
to completely pronounced swelling tendency, oedema, skin
changes, for oedema reduction, complaint and pain relief.

Contraindications
Absolute contraindications:
Advanced peripheral arterial occlusive disease, decompensated
heart failure, septic phlebitis, phlegmasia coeruela dolens.
Relative contraindications:
Distinct weeping dermatoses, intolerance of compression
stocking material, severe sensitivity disorders of the extremity,
advanced peripheral neuropathy (e. g. diabetes mellitus),
primary chronic polyarthritis.
Application risks/Important notes
This medical device is a prescribable product. Discuss the use
and duration with your treating physician. The expert sta from
whom you have received the medical device will select the
appropriate size and instruct you regarding its use.
– in case of persistent complaints, pain, numbness, changes
in skin colour, occurrence of wounds or swellings, remove
the device and consult the physician or specialist retailer
– use the medical device in accordance with therapeutic needs
– only use further compressive medical devices
simultaneously after consultation with your physician
– do not make any unauthorised modifications to the device
– do not wear it on open wounds
– do not use in case of intolerance of one of the materials used
– re-use – this medical aid is intended for treating one patient
– whilst the medical device is worn: use exclusively skin care
products approved and recommended by the manufacturer.
Unsuitable skin care products may destroy the material.
Fitting instructions for compression stockings/tights
with a closed toe
 Pull the stockings/tights over the lower arm and take hold
of the inside of the heel.
 Hold the heel firmly, pull the stockings/tights forwards
and turn them inside out up to the heel.
Tip: Use the BORT AktiVen®Special Gloves for the following
steps.

 Take hold of the overlapping material in the heel area
and slip your foot in until the heel knitted fabric is at
the heel.
Tip: For the tights, carry out steps 1–5 initially with one leg
and then repeat them for your second leg.
 Pull the stockings/tights gradually up over the heel and
simultaneously back with the right side out.
 Then slip the stockings/tights up step by step towards
the knee and use the palm of your hand simultaneously
to shape them to the leg. At the same time, never pull the
upper edge!
Tip: Turn the gripping edge (if one exists) inside out before
putting them on.
 For the tights, then repeat steps 1 to 5 with the second
leg. Turn both sides back the right way out and slip
them up both legs gradually. Then adjust the positioning of the
knitted fabric with the palm of your hand.
Finally pull the pantyhose up to the waist whilst
observing that the gusset is vertical in the crotch.
Fitting instructions for compression stockings/tights
with an open toe
 Slip into the slip-on aid with your foot.
 Turn the stockings/tights inside out up to over the heel,
grasp with both hands in the ankle area and pull it up to
the heel using the slip-on aid.
Tip: Use the BORT AktiVen®Special Gloves for the following
steps
 Then slip the stockings/tights up step by step towards
the knee and use the palm of your hand simultaneously
to shape them to the leg. At the same time, never pull the
upper edge!

Tip: Turn the gripping edge (if one exists) inside out before
putting them on.
 Take hold of the slip-on aid and pull it forwards out of
the stockings/tights.
 For the tights, then repeat steps 1– 4 for the second leg.
Then adjust the positioning of the knitted fabric with the
palm of your hand.
 Finally pull the pantyhose up to the waist whilst
observing that the gusset is vertical in the crotch.
Attention: Your compression stockings/tights must never be
twisted. Arrange the stockings/tights in stages from the bottom
to the top.
These tips make them easier to put on:
– Put the compression stockings/tights on directly after
getting up in the morning or after lymphatic drainage.
– Rough, unfiled fingernails, sharp-edged rings and toenails,
cornea and faulty shoe lining can damage the knitted fabric.
– Please always use BORT AktiVen®Special Gloves for putting
the compression stockings/tights on.
Removal
To remove the compression stockings/tights, please pull them
from the top downwards over the foot.
Material composition
Polyamide (PA), elastane (EL)
The sewn in textile label provides the precise material
composition.
Cleaning information
Before washing, all fasteners (if existing) must be closed!
Please always wash stockings with grip top and lace grip top
inside-out. Wash the compression stockings separately first
time (the dye may run). Your compression stockings should
ideally be hand-washed or washed using a delicate wash
cycle (40°C) daily. For BORT AktiVen®medical compression
stockings we recommend using BORT Special Detergent.

Tip: A laundry net provides additional protection for the
knitted fabric. If hand-washing, rinse thoroughly, do not wring.
You can reduce the drying time by placing the compression
stockings on a thick terry towel after washing them, rolling
them up firmly and firmly pressing out excess moisture. Then
hang the stockings up loosely. Do not leave them around in the
towel and neither dry them on a radiator nor in the sun. The
compression stockings must not be cleaned chemically. Please
observe the care instructions on the sewn in textile label.

Warranty
The legal regulations of the country in which you acquired the
product apply to the purchased product. Please contact your
specialist retailer if you suspect a warranty claim. Please clean
the product before submitting a warranty claim.
If the enclosed instructions for use have not been properly
observed, the warranty may be impaired or cancelled. The
warranty does not cover inappropriate use of the product
for the indication, non-observance of application risks,
instructions and unauthorised modifications to the product.
Useful life/Lifetime of the product
In case of regular and correct use, a useful life of 6 months is
assured.

If a serious worsening of the state of health occurs when using
the medical device, you are obliged to notify the specialist dealer
or us as the manufacturer and the Medicines & Healthcare
products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). You can find our contact

Disposal
Upon the termination of use, the product must be disposed of
in accordance with the corresponding local requirements.

Utilisation prévue
Ce dispositif médical est un bas de compression destiné
au traitement longue durée des pathologies phlébologiques
et/ou lymphologiques, et au traitement longue durée d’un
lipœdème.
Indications
CCL 1 :
Endommagement de la fonction/structure veineuse à la jambe
(p.ex. varice légère, début de varice liée à la grossesse)
avec tendance au gonflement légèrement prononcé, risque
d’œdème léger, sensation de lourdeur, pour réduction
d’œdème, soulagement de gêne et de douleur.
CCL 2 :
Endommagement de la fonction/structure veineuse/
lymphatique à la jambe (p.ex. varice liée à la grossesse avec
œdème, après stripping de varices/sclérose/interventions en
chirurgie veineuse, après thrombophlébite, après guérison
d’ulcères veineux, thrombose aigüe) avec tendance au
gonflement moyennement prononcé, œdème, pour réduction
d’œdème, soulagement de gêne et de douleur, prophylaxie des
récidives après ulcères veineux.
CCL 3 :
Endommagement de la fonction/structure veineuse/
lymphatique à la jambe (p.ex. thrombose aigüe, insusance
post-thrombotique, lymphœdème à partir du stade II, ulcère
variqueux) avec tendance au gonflement très fortement
prononcé, œdème, éventuellement altération cutanée, pour
réduction d’œdème, soulagement de gêne et de douleur,
traitement d’ulcères veineux.
CCL 4 :
Endommagement de la fonction/structure veineuse/
lymphatique et de la peau/tissu sous-cutané à la jambe
(p.ex. lymphœdème à partir du stade III, éléphantiasis) avec
tendance au gonflement très fortement prononcé jusqu’à

entier, œdème, altération cutanée, pour réduction d’œdème,

Contre-indications
Contre-indications absolues :
Artériopathie oblitérante périphérique avancée, insusance
cardiaque décompensée, phlébite septique, phlébite bleue.
Contre-indications relatives :
Dermatoses suintantes sévères, intolérance au matériau
composant le bas de compression, troubles de la sensibilité
sévères des extrémités, neuropathie périphérique avancée
(p.ex. diabète sucré), polyarthrite chronique primaire.
Risques inhérents à l’utilisation/Remarques importantes
Ce dispositif médical est un produit prescrit sur ordonnance.
Consultez votre médecin prescripteur pour en connaître
l’utilisation et la durée de port. Le choix de la taille, ainsi
qu’une présentation du produit, seront eectués par le
personnel spécialisé fournissant ce dispositif médical.
– en cas de gênes persistantes, douleurs, sensation
d’engourdissement, changements de couleur de peau,
apparition de lésions ou de gonflements, redonner le produit
et consulter un médecin ou un magasin spécialisé
– utiliser le dispositif médical conformément aux indications
– utilisation simultanée d’autres dispositifs médicaux de
compression exclusivement sur avis de votre médecin
– ne pas modifier le produit soi-même
– ne pas porter sur des plaies ouvertes
– ne pas utiliser en cas d’intolérance à l’un des matériaux
utilisés
– ne pas réutiliser. Ce dispositif est conçu pour le soin d’un
seul patient.
– pendant la durée de port du dispositif médical : utiliser
exclusivement des produits de soin de la peau autorisés et
recommandés par le fabricant. Les produits de soin de la
peau non appropriés peuvent détruire la matière.

Instruction d’application pour bas/collants de compression
avec pointe de pied fermée
 Enfilez le bas/collant sur l’avant-bras et tenez le talon de
l’intérieur.
 Gardez le talon en main, retirez le bas/collant et
retournez-le sur l’envers jusqu’au talon.
Conseil : Utilisez pour les étapes suivantes les gants spéciaux
BORT AktiVen®.
 Saisissez le tissu superposé au niveau du talon et
enfilez le pied jusqu’à ce que le tricot du talon épouse
correctement le talon.
Conseil : Pour le collant de compression, eectuez les étapes
1 à 5 d’abord avec une jambe, puis recommencez avec la
seconde jambe.
 Tirez progressivement le bas/collant par-dessus le
talon, puis en même temps, retournez-le à nouveau sur
l’endroit.
 Lissez maintenant progressivement le bas/le collant
vers le haut en direction du genou et modelez-le
simultanément à la jambe avec le plat de la main. Ne tirez

Conseil : Retournez le bord adhésif (si existant) avant
l’enfilage.
 Pour le collant, répétez maintenant les étapes 1 à 5
avec la seconde jambe. Retournez de nouveau les deux
côtés sur l’endroit, puis remontez-les progressivement sur les
deux jambes. Corrigez ensuite le positionnement du tricot avec
le plat de la main.
 Enfin, remontez la partie abdominale jusqu’à la taille
et assurez-vous que le gousset se trouve à la verticale
dans l’entrejambe.

Instruction d’application pour bas/collants de compression
avec pointe de pied ouverte
 Enfilez le pied dans l’aide à l’enfilage.
 Retournez sur l’envers le bas/collant jusqu’au-dessus du
talon, saisissez-le avec les deux mains au niveau de la
cheville et tirez-le jusqu’au talon avec l’aide à l’enfilage.
Conseil : Utilisez pour les étapes suivantes les gants spéciaux
BORT AktiVen®.
 Lissez maintenant progressivement le bas/le collant
vers le haut en direction du genou et modelez-le
simultanément à la jambe avec le plat de la main. Ne tirez
jamais sur le bord supérieur !
Conseil : Retournez le bord adhésif (si existant) avant

 Saisissez l’aide à l’enfilage par la pointe et retirez-la du
bas/collant vers l’avant rapidement.
 Pour le collant, refaites maintenant les étapes 1
à 4 avec la seconde jambe. Corrigez ensuite le
positionnement du tricot avec le plat de la main.
 Enfin, remontez la partie abdominale jusqu’à la taille
et assurez-vous que le gousset se trouve à la verticale
dans l’entrejambe.
Attention : Vos bas/collants de compression ne doivent
jamais être torsadés. Répartissez le bas/collant de manière
progressive du bas vers le haut.
Les recommandations suivantes facilitent l’enfilage :
– Enfilez les bas/collants de compression le matin dès le lever
ou après un drainage lymphatique.
– Les ongles de mains rugueux et non limés, les bagues à
arêtes tranchantes, ainsi que les ongles des pieds, la corne
et les revêtements intérieurs de chaussures abimés peuvent
endommager le tricot.
– Utilisez toujours les gants spéciaux BORT AktiVen®pour
enfiler les bas/collants de compression.
