Safety instructions
All instructions must be read and observed.
The safeguards integrated into the inspec-
tion camera may be compromised if the in-
spection camera is not used in accordance
with these instructions. STORE THESE IN-
STRUCTIONS IN A SAFE PLACE.
uHave the inspection camera repaired only by a quali-
fied repair person and only using identical replace-
ment parts. This will ensure that the safety of the inspec-
tion camera is maintained.
uDo not operate the inspection camera in explosive at-
mospheres, such as in the presence of flammable li-
quids, gases or dusts. Sparks can be created in the in-
spection camera which may ignite the dust or fumes.
uRemove the rechargeable battery from the inspection
camera before carrying out any work on the inspec-
tion camera (e.g. assembly, maintenance, etc.) as well
as when transporting and storing the inspection cam-
era.
uRemove the batteries from the inspection camera
when not using it for longer periods. The batteries can
corrode and self-discharge during prolonged storage.
uDo not direct the light beam at persons or animals and
do not stare into the light beam yourself (even from a
distance).
uCheck the work area before using the inspection cam-
era. No part of the inspection camera may come into
contact with electrical cables, moving parts or chem-
ical substances. Interrupt the electric circuit of elec-
trical cables running through the work area. These
measures reduce the risk of explosions, electric shock
and damage to property.
uWear appropriate personal protective equipment like
protective goggles, protective gloves or a protective
mask, if there are substances harmful to health in the
work area. Sewers or similar areas can contain solid, li-
quid or gaseous substances that are poisonous, infec-
tious, corrosive or otherwise harmful to health.
uPay particular attention to cleanliness if you work in
areas with substances harmful to health. Do not eat
during work. Avoid contact with substances harmful to
health, and clean hands and other body parts that could
have come into contact with them with hot soapy water
after work. This reduces the danger to health.
uDo not stand in water if you are using the inspection
camera. Working in water poses a risk of electric shock.
uDo not open the battery. There is a risk of short-circuit-
ing.
uIn case of damage and improper use of the battery, va-
pours may be emitted. The battery can set alight or ex-
plode. Ensure the area is well ventilated and seek medical
attention should you experience any adverse effects. The
vapours may irritate the respiratory system.
uIf used incorrectly or if the battery is damaged, flam-
mable liquid may be ejected from the battery. Contact
with this liquid should be avoided. If contact accident-
ally occurs, rinse off with water. If the liquid comes
into contact with your eyes, seek additional medical
attention. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause ir-
ritation or burns.
uThe battery can be damaged by pointed objects such
as nails or screwdrivers or by force applied externally.
An internal short circuit may occur, causing the battery to
burn, smoke, explode or overheat.
uWhen the battery is not in use, keep it away from pa-
per clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small
metal objects that could make a connection from one
terminal to another. A short circuit between the battery
terminals may cause burns or a fire.
uOnly use the battery with products from the manufac-
turer. This is the only way in which you can protect the
battery against dangerous overload.
uOnly charge the batteries using chargers recommen-
ded by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for
one type of battery may pose a fire risk when used with a
different battery.
Protect the battery against heat, e.g. against
continuous intense sunlight, fire, dirt, water
and moisture. There is a risk of explosion and
short-circuiting.
WARNING
Ensure that the coin cell is kept
out of the reach of children.
Coin cells are dangerous.
uCoin cells must never be swallowed or inserted into
any other part of the body. If you suspect that
someone has swallowed a coin cell or that a coin cell
has entered the body in another way, seek medical at-
tention immediately. Swallowing coin cells can result in
severe internal burns and death within 2 hours.
Keep the magnetic accessories away from
implants and other medical devices, e.g.
pacemakers or insulin pumps. The magnets
in the accessories generate a field that can im-
pair the function of implants and medical
devices.
uKeep the magnetic accessories away from magnetic
data storage media and magnetically-sensitive
devices. The effect of the magnets in the accessories can
lead to irreversible data loss.

Specifications
Please observe the illustrations at the beginning of this oper-
ating manual.
Intended Use
The digital inspection camera is suitable for inspecting areas
that are dark or difficult to access. It is also suitable for mov-
ing and removing small and light objects (e.g. small screws)
after fitting the supplied accessories on the camera head.
The digital inspection camera must not be used for medical
purposes. It is likewise not intended for removing pipe
blockages or installing cables.

Assembly
Power supply
The inspection camera can be operated either with aBosch
lithium-ion rechargeable battery, with commercially avail-
able non-rechargeable batteries or with commercially avail-
able NiMH rechargeable batteries.
The battery charge indicator(c) will indicate the state of
charge of the Li-ion battery, non-rechargeable batteries or
NiMH batteries on the display.

Operation with Battery Adapter (seefigureA)
The non-rechargeable or NiMH rechargeable batteries are in-
serted into the battery adapter.
uThe battery adapter is intended only for use in desig-
nated Bosch inspection cameras and must not be used
with power tools.
To insert the non-rechargeable/rechargeable batteries,
slide the receptacle(21) of the battery adapter into the
bay(20). Place the non-rechargeable/rechargeable batter-
ies in the receptacle as shown in the picture on the cap(23).
Slide the cap over the cover until you feel it click into place
and it is flush with the handle of the inspection camera.
To remove the non-rechargeable/rechargeable batteries,
press the release buttons(22) of the cap(23) and pull off
the cap. Pull out the cover(21) from inside the port(20).
Always replace all the batteries at the same time. Only use
batteries from the same manufacturer and which have the
same capacity.
uRemove the non-rechargeable/rechargeable batteries
from the inspection camera when not using it for
longer periods. The batteries and rechargeable batteries
can corrode and self-discharge if stored for prolonged
periods in the inspection camera.
Operation with Lithium-Ion Rechargeable Battery
(seefigureB)
uUse only the chargers listed in the technical data. Only
these battery chargers are matched to the lithium-ion bat-
teries of your inspection camera.
Note: Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries are supplied par-
tially charged according to international transport regula-
tions. To ensure full rechargeable battery capacity, fully
charge the rechargeable battery before using your tool for
the first time.
To insert the charged rechargeable battery(16), slide it into
the port(20) until you feel it click into place and it is flush
with the handle of the inspection camera.
To remove the battery(16), press the release buttons(22)
and pull it out of the port(20). Do not use force to do this.
Recommendations for Optimal Handling of the Battery
Protect the battery against moisture and water.
Only store the battery within a temperature range of −20 to
50°C. Do not leave the battery in your car in the summer, for
example.
A significantly reduced operating time after charging indic-
ates that the battery has deteriorated and must be replaced.
Follow the instructions on correct disposal.
Fitting the camera cable (seefigureC)
For operation of the inspection camera, the camera
cable(1) must be fitted on the handheld device(15).
Push the connector of the camera cable(1) onto the camera
connection(24) in the correct position until it clicks into
place.
Removing the camera cable (seefigureD)
To remove the camera cable(1), press the locking
mechanism(25) and pull the connector out of the handheld
device(15).
Fitting the mirror, magnet or hook (seefigureE)
The mirror(28), the hook(27) or the magnet(26) can be
fitted on the camera head(4) as accessories.
Push one of the three accessories, as shown in the figure, all
the way onto the camera head(4).
Note: The magnet(26) and the hook(27) are only suitable
for moving and removing loose, small and light objects. The
inspection camera or the accessory can be damaged with
too strong a pull.
Operation
uProtect the handheld device and the rechargeable
battery or battery adapter from direct sunlight. Pro-
tect the rechargeable battery or battery adapter
against moisture. The camera cable(1) and camera
head(4) are watertight if assembled correctly; the hand-
held device(15) is splash-proof. However, the re-
chargeable battery(16) and the battery adapter are not
protected against water. If they come into contact with
water, there is a risk of electric shock or damage.
uDo not use the inspection camera if the lens on the
camera head(4) has fogged up. Switch the inspection
camera on only if the moisture has evaporated. The in-
spection camera may otherwise become damaged.
uThe switched-on light(5) can become hot during oper-
ation. To avoid burns, do not touch the light.
uDo not subject the inspection camera to extreme tem-
peratures or variations in temperature. For example,
do not leave it in a car for extended periods of time. In
case of large variations in temperature, allow the inspec-
tion camera to adjust to the ambient temperature before
putting it into operation.
Starting Operation
Switching On and Off
To switch on the inspection camera, press the ON/OFF
button(8)or the centre button(11).
Note: If the camera cable is not fitted when switching on, the
display will show an error message.
To switch off the inspection camera, press the ON/OFF
button(8) until the display switches off.
If no button on the inspection camera is pressed for a certain
time, then the inspection camera will automatically switch it-
self off to preserve battery life. You can set the switch-off
time in the main menu.
Regulating the illumination light in the camera head
To regulate the light, press the left-hand button(10) or the
right-hand button(13)until it reaches the required bright-
ness or the illumination light has switched off.

uDo not look directly into the light(5) and do not direct
the light onto other people. The light can blind your
eyes.
Zooming In/Out of the Image in the Display
To set the magnification level of the display view, press the
up button(9) or the down button(12) until the required
magnification level has been reached.
Main Menu
To access the <Main menu>, press the centre button(11).
Navigating in the menu
– To scroll through a menu: Press the up(9) or down(12)
buttons.
– To switch to a submenu: Press the centre button(11) or
the right-hand button(13).
– To confirm a selected menu option: Press the centre
button(11).
– To switch a function with a virtual switchon or off :
Either press the centre button(11), the right-hand
button(13) or the left-hand button(10). This will also
save the setting.
– To return to the previous, higher-level menu: Briefly press
the ON/OFF button(8).
– To exit the main menu and return to the camera display:
Briefly press the ON/OFF button(8).
Menu options
–<Up Indication> (GIC4‑23C): Switch the function on or
off.
When theUp Indication function is switched on, the ar-
row of the direction indicator(b), shows where "up" is in
the image (see figureF).
Note: The function is limited if a mirror(28) is fitted and/
or with a vertically aligned camera cable(1).
–<AutoUp> (GIC5‑27C): Switch the function on or off.
The AutoUpfunction rotates the image so that the "top" is
shown at the top of the display (see figureG).
Note: The function is limited if a mirror(28) is fitted and/
or with a vertically aligned camera cable(1).
–<Gallery> (GIC4‑23C): This is where recorded photos
can be accessed.
You can select the required file based on its date using
the down(12) or up(9) buttons.
Press the right-hand button(13) or the centre
button(11) to see a preview of the selected photo.
To open the selected file, press the centre button(11).
–<Gallery> (GIC5‑27C): This is where recorded photos
and videos can be accessed.
You can select the required file based on its date using
the down(12) or up(9) buttons.
Press the right-hand button(13) or the centre
button(11) to see a preview of the selected photo or
video.
To open the selected file, press the centre button(11).
Note: If a micro-SD card(30) is inserted, only files saved
on this micro-SD card are displayed. To open photos from
the internal storage, you must first remove the micro-SD
card(30).
–<Camera mode> (GIC5‑27C): Choose
between<Photo> and<Video> for recordings.
–<Display brightness>: Set the required brightness for
the display.
–<Color>: Switch between the colour view and black/
white view of the display.
–<Device settings>
▪<Date& time>: You can set the date and time for sav-
ing files and select the date and time format.
Note: If the date and time can no longer be saved, the
built-in coin cell is drained. Contact an
authorisedBosch-after-sales service centre if this hap-
pens.
▪<Language>: Select the language used in the display.
▪<Switch off after …>: Choose the time interval after
which the inspection camera will switch off automatic-
ally if no button is pressed.
–<Device info>: Here you will find device information,
such as the installed software version and legal informa-
tion.
–<Factory reset>: You can reset all of the menu options to
factory settings. This also simultaneously, permanently
delete all of the saved files.
Saving/Transferring the Recordings
(GIC4‑23C)
Taking a Photo
Press the photo recording button(14) to take a photo of the
current display view. The photos are stored in the internal
memory of the inspection camera and can be transferred via
USBType-C®.
Data transfer via the USB Type-C® interface
Switch on the inspection camera to transfer data via the USB
Type-C® interface. Open the flap for the USB Type-C®
port(3). Connect the USB Type-C® port to your PC via the
USB Type-C® cable(29).
Open the file browser on your PC and select theBosch_GIC
drive. The saved files can be copied from the internal
memory of the inspection camera, moved to your PC or de-
leted.
As soon as you have completed the required operation, dis-
connect the drive following the standard procedure.
Note: Always disconnect the drive from the operating sys-
tem of the PC first (eject drive), as failure to do so may dam-
age the internal memory of the inspection camera.
Remove the USB Type-C® cable (the inspection camera will
switch off automatically). Close the upper flap(2) to protect
against dust or splashes.
Note: Only use the USB Type-C® interface to connect the in-
spection camera to a PC. The inspection camera may be
damaged if connected to other devices.
Note: The USB Type-C® interface can only be used for data
transfer. Rechargeable batteries or other devices cannot be
charged by this interface.

Saving/Transferring the Recordings
(GIC5‑27C)
Taking Photos/Videos
If a micro-SD card(30) is inserted, the photos and videos
are saved on the card.
If no micro-SD card is present, photos are stored on the in-
ternal storage on the inspection camera and it is not possible
to take videos.
Photo mode: Press the photo/video recording button(19) to
take a photo of the current display view.
Video mode: To start filming a video, press the photo/video
recording button(19), to stop recording, press the photo/
video recording button(19) again or the centre button(11).
You can switch between photo and video mode in the <Main
menu>.
Data transfer overview
– Transferring photo files from the internal storage to the
micro-SD card(30): When a micro-SD(30) is inserted, a
request appears in the display asking whether the data
saved on the inspection camera's internal storage should
be transferred to the micro-SD card.
– Transferring photo files from the internal storage via
USBType‑C®: Transfer is only possible if there is no mi-
cro-SD card(30) inserted in the inspection camera.
– Transferring files from the micro-SD card(30): You can
transfer files from the inserted micro-SD card(30) either
via USBType‑C® or by removing the micro-SD card(30)
and inserting it into another device.
Inserting the micro-SD card
Open the top flap(2) and push the micro-SD card(30) all
the way into the slot(18), paying attention to the correct ori-
entation. Carefully close the top flap again.
Data transfer via the USB Type-C® interface
Switch on the inspection camera to transfer data via the USB
Type-C® interface. Open the flap for the USB Type-C®
port(3). Connect the USB Type-C® port to your PC via the
USB Type-C® cable(29).
Open the file browser on your PC and select the drive for
transferring the files. The name of the drive is as follows:
– If no micro-SD card is inserted into the inspection cam-
era: Bosch_GIC
– If an unnamed micro-SD card is inserted into the inspec-
tion camera: Standard name of the USB drive
– If a named micro-SD card is inserted into the inspection
camera: Name of the micro-SD card
The saved files can be copied from the internal memory or
the micro-SD card of the inspection camera, moved to your
PC or deleted.
As soon as you have completed the required operation, dis-
connect the drive following the standard procedure.
Note: Always disconnect the drive from the operating sys-
tem of the PC first (eject drive), as failure to do so may dam-
age the internal memory of the inspection camera.
Remove the USB Type-C® cable (the inspection camera will
switch off automatically). Close the upper flap(2) to protect
against dust or splashes.
Note: Only use the USB Type-C® interface to connect the in-
spection camera to a PC. The inspection camera may be
damaged if connected to other devices.
Note: The USB Type-C® interface can only be used for data
transfer. Rechargeable batteries or other devices cannot be
charged by this interface.
Working Advice
Check the environment that you want to inspect, paying par-
ticular attention to obstacles or hazardous areas.
Bend the camera cable(1) so that the camera head can be
easily introduced into the environment to be inspected.
Carefully introduce the camera cable.
Adjust the brightness of the camera illumination light(5) so
that the image is easily recognisable. When photographing
highly reflective objects, for example, you can achieve better
results in lower light or using black and white contrast set-
ting.
If objects to be inspected look blurred, then reduce or in-
crease the distance between camera head(4) and object.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Do not immerse the handheld device(15) in water or other
liquids.
Always keep the inspection camera clean. Clean the inspec-
tion camera and all accessories particularly thoroughly after
you have worked in areas with substances harmful to health.
Wipe off any dirt using a damp, soft cloth. Do not use any de-
tergents or solvents.
Clean the camera lens(6) in particular regularly and make
sure to check for any lint.
Replacing the Built-in Coin Cell
The coin cell replacement must be performed by Bosch or by
an after-sales service centre authorised to work with Bosch
power tools.
uCaution: The coin cell must always be replaced with a
coin cell of the same type. There is a risk of explosion.
uRemove and dispose of drained coin cell correctly.
Drained coin cell may leak and damage the product or
cause personal injury.

Transport
The recommended lithium-ion batteries are subject to legis-
lation on the transport of dangerous goods. The user can
transport the batteries by road without further require-
ments.
When shipping by third parties (e.g.: by air transport or for-
warding agency), special requirements on packaging and la-
belling must be observed. For preparation of the item being
shipped, consulting an expert for hazardous material is re-
quired.
Dispatch battery packs only when the housing is undam-
aged. Tape or mask off open contacts and pack up the bat-
tery in such a manner that it cannot move around in the
packaging. Please also observe the possibility of more de-
tailed national regulations.
Disposal
The inspection camera, batteries/rechargeable
batteries, accessories and packaging should be
sorted for environmentally friendly recycling.
Do not dispose of the inspection camera or bat-
teries/rechargeable batteries with household
waste.

uスコープで作業を行う場合（取付け、保守な
ど）やスコープを輸送／保管する場合は、あら
かじめ電池を外しておいてください。

uスコープを長期間使用しない場合には、スコー
プから電池を取り出してください。電池は長期
間保管した場合、腐食し、自己放電する可能性
があります。
u光線を人や動物に向けたり、光線を覗き込んだ
りしないでください。たとえ距離が離れていて
も同様です。
uスコープを使用する前に作業領域を点検してく
ださい。スコープの部分が、電気配線、可動部
品や化学物質に触れることがないようにしてく
ださい。作業領域に取り回されている電気配線
の回路を遮断してください。これらの対策に
よって爆発、感電および物損の危険を低減でき
ます。
u作業領域に健康を脅かす物質が存在する場合、
保護メガネ、保護手袋や呼吸保護具などの適切
な個人保護具を着用してください。排水管やそ
れに類した領域では、毒性、感染性、刺激性の
ある、またはその他の種類の健康を脅かす固体
状、液状、ガス状の物質が存在するおそれがあ
ります。
u健康を脅かす物質が存在する領域で作業を行う
場合、特に清浄さに注意を払ってください。作
業中に飲食しないでください。健康を脅かす物
質に触れないようにし、作業後にはそれらの物
質に触れた可能性のある手やその他の身体の部
分を石けん水で洗浄してください。これにより
健康を脅かす危険が低減されます。
uスコープを使用する際、水中に身を置かないで
ください。水中での作業により感電の危険があ
ります。
uバッテリーを分解しないでください。ショート
につながるおそれがあります。
uバッテリーが損傷していたり、バッテリーを不
適切に使用すると、煙が発生する可能性があり
ます。さらにバッテリーが発火したり、爆発し
たりするおそれがあります。その場合には新鮮
な空気を取り入れ、不快感がある場合には医師
の診断を受けてください。煙が気道を刺激する
可能性があります。
u誤った方法でバッテリーを使用したり、不具合
のあるバッテリーを使用したりすると、バッテ
リーから可燃性の液体が漏れ出るおそれがあり
ます。その液体に決して触れないでください。
誤って触れてしまった場合には、すぐにきれい
な水で洗い流してください。液体が目に入った
場合は、すぐに医師の診断を受けてください。
バッテリー液が漏れ出た場合、皮膚に接触する
と刺激を受けたり、やけどにつながるおそれが
あります。
u釘やドライバーなどの先の尖った物体により、
または外的な力を加えるとバッテリーが損傷す
ることがあります。これによって内部ショート
が生じたり、バッテリーが燃焼・発煙・爆発・
過熱するおそれがあります。
uコンタクトをブリッジするおそれのあるクリッ
プ、硬貨、鍵、釘、ネジやその他の小さな金属
製のものに、使用していないバッテリーを近づ
けないでください。バッテリーのコンタクト間
のショートは、火災につながるおそれがありま
す。
uメーカーの製品にのみバッテリーを使用してく
ださい。 組み合わせてご使用になる場合に限
り、バッテリーは危険な過負荷から保護されま
す。
uメーカーが推奨している充電器でのみバッテ
リーを充電してください。特定のバッテリーの
充電を目的に製造された充電器で他のバッテ
リーを充電すると、火災の原因となることがあ
ります。
長時間当たる直射日光、火、汚れ、水
や湿度から保護し、バッテリーを熱か
ら守ってください。爆発やショートに
つながるおそれがあります。
警告
ボタン電池をお子様の手の
届かないところに保管して
ください。ボタン電池は危
険です。
uボタン電池を飲み込んだり、鼻や耳の穴などに
入れないでください。ボタン電池を誤飲した
か、もしくは体内に入ったと考えられる場合に
は、すぐに医師の診断を受けてください。ボタ
ン電池を誤飲すると、2時間以内に胃酸で腐食が
進み、死に至る危険があります。
磁気を帯びたアクセサリーを埋め込み
型医療機器やその他の医療器具（ペー
スメーカーやインスリンポンプなど）
に近づけないようにしてください。ア
クセサリーのマグネットにより磁界が
生じ、埋め込み型医療機器やその他の
医療器具の機能を損ねるおそれがあり
ます。
u磁気を帯びたアクセサリーを磁気データ媒体や
磁気の影響を受けやすい装置に近づけないよう
にしてください。アクセサリーのマグネットの
作用により不可逆的なデータの損失を招くおそ
れがあります。

取扱説明書の冒頭に記載されている図を参照して
ください。
用途
スコープは、アクセスしにくい領域や暗い領域を
検査するのに適しています。スコープは、同梱の
アクセサリーをカメラヘッドに取り付けた後、小
さく軽量の物体 (小ネジなど) を動かしたり、取り
外すのにも適しています。
スコープは、医療目的で使用してはなりません。
また、スコープは、パイプ栓を持ち上げたり、
ケーブルを引っ張るためのものではありません。

使い方
電源
スコープは、Boschのリチウムイオン電池、市販
の一般的な電池または充電池（ニッケル水素電
池）で作動させることができます。
ディスプレイの残量表示(c)には、リチウムイオン
電池、電池/充電池（ニッケル水素電池）の残量が
表示されます。
バッテリーアダプターを使用して作業する（図Aを
参照）
電池/充電池をバッテリーアダプターに挿入しま
す。
uバッテリーアダプターはボッシュ製スコープ専
用のもので、他の電動工具で使用することはで
きません。
電池/充電池を入れる場合は、バッテリーアダプ
ターのカバー(21)を電池トレイ(20)に動かしま
す。図のように電池/充電池とロックキャップ(23)
をカバーにセットします。カチッと噛み合う音が
するまでロックキャップをカバーに押し込み、ス

コープのグリップ部にぴったり重なるようにしま
す。
電池/充電池を取り出すには、ロックキャップ(23)
のロック解除ボタン(22)を押して、ロックキャッ
プを引き出します。内側のカバー(21)を電池トレ
イ(20)から引き抜きます。
電池/バッテリーはすべて同じタイミングで交換し
てください。また、複数のメーカーに分けたりせ
ず、単一メーカーの同じ容量の電池/バッテリーの
みを使用してください。
uスコープを長期間使用しない場合には、スコー
プから電池/充電池を取り出してください。電
池/充電池をスコープに長期間入れたままにする
と、電池/充電池の腐食や自己放電につながりま
す。
充電池を使用して作業する（図Bを参照）
uテクニカルデータに記載されている充電器のみ
をご使用ください。これらの充電器のみが、ス
コープで使用可能なリチウムイオン電池に対応
しています。
注意事項：国際輸送の規格に従い、リチウムイオ
ンバッテリーは仮充電した状態で納入されます。
バッテリーの出力をフルで引き出せるよう、初回
のご使用前にバッテリーを満充電してください。
充電した充電池を入れる場合は、充電池(16)を電
池トレイ(20)にカチッとはまるまで押し込み、ス
コープのグリップ部にぴったり重なるようにしま
す。
充電池(16)を取り出すには、ロック解除ボタン
(22)を押して、電池トレイ(20)から電池を取り出
します。その際、無理な力を加えないでくださ
い。
バッテリーを最適に取り扱うために
バッテリーを湿気や水から保護してください。
–20°C...50°Cの温度範囲内でバッテリーを保管
してください。例えば夏季にバッテリーを車両に
置いたままにしないでください。
正しく充電しても使用能力が著しく低下するよう
になった場合は、バッテリーの寿命が尽きたと考
えられます。新しいバッテリーと交換してくださ
い。
その際、廃棄に関する注意事項を必ず守ってくだ
さい。
カメラケーブルの取付け（図Cを参照）
スコープを作動させるためには、カメラケーブル
(1)をハンドユニット(15)に取り付ける必要があり
ます。
カメラケーブル(1)のプラグをカメラ接続部(24)に
カチッとはまるまで適切に差し込みます。
カメラケーブルの取り外し（図Dを参照）
カメラケーブル(1)を取り外すには、ロック(25)を
押し縮め、プラグをハンドユニット(15)から抜き
取ります。
ミラー、フック、マグネットの取付け（図
Eを参照）
ミラー(28)、フック(27)とマグネット(26)は、ア
クセサリーとしてカメラヘッド(4)に取り付けるこ
とができます。
これらの3つのアクセサリーを図のようにカメラ
ヘッド(4)に止まるまで差し込みます。
注意事項：マグネット(26)とフック(27)は、緩く
取り付けられている、小さい軽量の物体を動かし
たり、取り外す場合にのみ適しています。強く
引っ張ると、スコープまたはアクセサリーが損傷
するおそれがあります。
操作
uハンドユニット、電池、バッテリーアダプター
を直射日光から保護してください。電池とバッ
テリーアダプターを湿気から保護してくださ
い。カメラケーブル(1)とカメラヘッド(4)は、
適切に取り付けられていれば耐水性があり、ハ
ンドユニット(15)も飛散水が侵入しない仕様に
なっています。しかし、電池(16)とバッテリー
アダプターには耐水性がなく、水などがかかっ
たりすると、感電や本体の損傷につながるおそ
れがあります。
uカメラヘッド(4)のレンズが曇っている場合、ス
コープを使用しないでください。湿気が蒸発し
てからスコープのスイッチを入れてください。
これを守らないとスコープが損傷するおそれが
あります。
uスイッチがオンになっている照明(5)は、作動
中、高温になることがあります。やけどしない
ように、照明には触れないでください。
uスコープを極端な温度や温度変化にさらさない
でください。車の中などに長時間放置しないで
ください。温度変化が大きい場合、スコープを
作動させる前にまず環境に慣れさせてくださ
い。
始動
オン／オフ
電源ボタン(8)または中央のボタン(11)を押すと、
スコープがオンになります。
注意事項：電源を入れたときにカメラケーブルが
取り付けられていない場合、ディスプレイにエ
ラーメッセージが表示されます。
スコープをオフにするには、ディスプレイの表示
が消えるまで電源ボタン(8)を押します。
スコープのボタンをしばらく操作しないと、電池/
充電池の消耗を防ぐために、スコープは自動的に
オフになります。スイッチオフ時間はメインメ
ニューで設定することができます。
カメラヘッドの照明の調整
希望の明るさになるまで、または照明が消えるま
で左側のボタン(10)または右側のボタン(13)を何
度か押して照明を調整することができます。

u照明(5)を直接覗き込んだり、照明を他の人に向
けたりしないでください。照明の光によって眼
に眩しさを与えることがあります。
ディスプレイの画像の縮小/拡大（ズーム）
希望の画像倍率になるまで上側のボタン(9)または
下側のボタン(12)を押します。
メインメニュー
中央のボタン(11)を押すと、<メニュー>が開きま
す。
メニュー内の移動
– メニューをスクロールする：上側のボタン(9)ま
たは下側のボタン(12)を押します。
– サブメニューに切り替える：中央のボタン(11)
または右側のボタン(13)を押します。
– 選択したメニュー設定を確定する：中央のボタ
ン(11)を押します。
– バーチャルスイッチを使用した機能 をオン/
オフする：中央のボタン(11)、右側のボタン
(13)または左側のボタン(10)のいずれかを押す
と、その設定が保存されます。
– 1つ上のメニューに戻る：電源ボタン(8)を短く
押します。
– メインメニューを終了し、カメラ画面に戻る：
電源ボタン(8)を短く押します。
メニュー設定
–<Up Indication> (GIC4‑23C)：機能のオン/オ
フを切り替えます。
Up Indication機能をオンにすると、どこが
「上」かがわかる方向表示(b)の矢印が画像に表
示されます（図Fを参照）。
注意事項：ミラー(28)を取り付けている場合お
よび/またはカメラケーブル(1)の垂直位置にあ
る場合には機能が制限されます。
–<AutoUp> (GIC5‑27C)：機能のオン/オフを切
り替えます。
AutoUp機能を使用して、「上」が画面の上に
来るように画像を回転させることができます
（図Gを参照）。
注意事項：ミラー(28)を取り付けている場合お
よび/またはカメラケーブル(1)の垂直位置にあ
る場合には機能が制限されます。
–<ギャラリー> (GIC4‑23C)：撮影した写真を再
生することができます。
上側のボタン(12)または下側のボタン(9)を押し
て目的のファイルを選択します（ファイルは日
付順に表示）。
右側のボタン(13)または中央のボタン(11)を押
すと、選択した写真がプレビュー表示されま
す。
中央のボタン(11)を押すと、選択したファイル
が開きます。
–<ギャラリー> (GIC5‑27C)：撮影した写真/動
画を再生することができます。
上側のボタン(12)または下側のボタン(9)を押し
て目的のファイルを選択します（ファイルは日

中央のボタン(11)を押すと、選択したファイル

注意事項：マイクロSDカード(30)を挿入してい
る場合、マイクロSDカードに保存されている
ファイルのみが表示されます。内部メモリにあ
る写真を再生する場合は、マイクロSDカード
(30)を取り外してください。
–<カメラモード> (GIC5‑27C)：<写真>、<動画
>を撮影するときに選択します。
–<ディスプレイ照度>：ディスプレイの明るさを
調節します。
–<色>：ディスプレイのカラー表示のオン/オフを
切り替えます（オフ：白黒表示）。
–<デバイス設定>
▪<日付と時刻>：ファイルを保存する日付と時
刻を設定し、日付と時刻の形式を選択しま
す。
注意事項：日付と時刻が保存されない場合、
内蔵されているボタン電池の残量はゼロに
なっています。この場合はBoschのカスタ
マーサービスにお問い合わせください。
▪<言語>：ディスプレイに表示する言語を選択
します。
▪<自動スイッチオフ時間>：ボタンを操作しな
くなってからスコープが自動的にオフになる
までの時間を設定します。
–<本体情報>：インストールされているソフト
ウェアのバージョンや法的情報などのシステム
情報を確認することができます。
–<工場出荷時設定>：すべてのメニュー設定を工
場出荷時の設定にリセットすることができま
す。また、保存されたすべてのファイルが完全
に削除されます。
撮影したデータの保存/転送 (GIC4‑23C)
写真を撮影する
写真撮影ボタン(14)を押して、現在ディスプレイ
に表示されている画像を撮影します。写真はス
コープの内部メモリに保存され、USBType‑C®経
由で転送することができますす。
USB Type‑C®インターフェース経由でデータを送
信する
USB Type‑C®経由でデータを転送するためにス
コープの電源を入れます。USB Type‑C®差込口(3)
のカバーを開いてから、USB Type‑C®差込口に
USB Type‑C®ケーブル(29)を差し込んでPCと接続
します。
PCでファイルブラウザを開き、ドライブ
Bosch_GICを選択します。保存したファイルは、
スコープの内部メモリからコピーしたり、PCに移
動したり、削除したりすることができます。
目的の作業が終わったら、ドライブとの接続を解
除します。

注意事項：最初にPCのオペレーションシステムか
らドライブをログアウト（イジェクト）してくだ
さい。そうしないと、スコープの内部メモリが損
傷するおそれがあります。
USB Type-C®ケーブルを取り外します（するとス
コープは自動的にオフになります）。水やほこり
から守るために、上部のカバー(2)を閉じます。
注意事項：必ずUSB Type-C®インターフェースを
介してスコープとPCを接続してください。他の装
置に接続すると、スコープが損傷するおそれがあ
ります。
注意事項：USB Type-C®インターフェースはデー
タを転送するためにのみ使用し、バッテリーや他
の装置を充電するために使用することはできませ
ん。
撮影したデータの保存/転送 (GIC5‑27C)
写真/動画を撮影する
マイクロSDカード(30)を挿入すると、撮影した写
真と動画はそのカードに保存されます。
マイクロSDカードを挿入しないと、写真はスコー
プの内部メモリに保存されます。動画の録画はで
きません。
写真モード：写真/動画撮影ボタン(19)を押して、
現在ディスプレイに表示されている画像を撮影し
ます。
動画モード：動画の録画を開始する場合は写真/動
画撮影ボタン(19)を押し、終了する場合は写真/動
画撮影ボタン(19)または中央のボタン(11)を押し
ます。
写真モードと動画モードは<メニュー>で切り替え
ることができます。
データの転送について
– 写真を内部メモリからマイクロSDカード(30)に
転送する：マイクロSDカード(30)を挿入する
と、スコープの内部メモリに保存されている
データをマイクロSDカードに転送するかどうか
を尋ねるダイアログがディスプレイに表示され
ます。
– 写真をUSB Type-C®経由で内部メモリから転送
する：マイクロSDカード(30)をスコープに挿入
していない場合にのみ転送することができま
す。
– ファイルをマイクロSDカードから(30)転送す
る：挿入したマイクロSDカード(30)からファイ
ルをUSB Type‑C®経由で転送するか、またはマ
イクロSDカード(30)をスコープから取り外して
別の装置に挿入することができます。
マイクロSDカードを挿入する
上部のカバー(2)を開き、スロット(18)にマイクロ
SDカード(30)を正しい向きで完全に押し込んでか
ら、上部のカバーを再びしっかり閉じます。
USB Type‑C®インターフェース経由でデータを送
信する
USB Type‑C®経由でデータを転送するためにス
コープの電源を入れます。USB Type‑C®差込口(3)
のカバーを開いてから、USB Type‑C®差込口に
USB Type‑C®ケーブル(29)を差し込んでPCと接続
します。
PCでファイルブラウザを開き、ファイルを転送す
るドライブを選択します。ドライブの名称は以下
のようになります。
– マイクロSDカードがスコープに挿入されていな
い場合：Bosch_GIC
– 名称が付いていないマイクロSDカードがスコー
プに挿入されている場合：USBドライブの初期
設定の名称
– 名称が付いているマイクロSDカードがスコープ
に挿入されている場合：マイクロSDカードの名
称
保存したファイルは、スコープの内部メモリまた
はマイクロSDカードからコピーしたり、PCに移動
したり、削除したりすることができます。
目的の作業が終わったら、ドライブとの接続を解
除します。
注意事項：最初にPCのオペレーションシステムか
らドライブをログアウト（イジェクト）してくだ
さい。そうしないと、スコープの内部メモリが損
傷するおそれがあります。
USB Type-C®ケーブルを取り外します（するとス
コープは自動的にオフになります）。水やほこり
から守るために、上部のカバー(2)を閉じます。
注意事項：必ずUSB Type-C®インターフェースを
介してスコープとPCを接続してください。他の装
置に接続すると、スコープが損傷するおそれがあ
ります。
注意事項：USB Type-C®インターフェースはデー
タを転送するためにのみ使用し、バッテリーや他
の装置を充電するために使用することはできませ
ん。
作業に関する注意事項
検査したい環境を確認し、特に障害物や危険個所
がないか注意してください。
カメラヘッドが検査対象の環境にうまく挿入され
るようにカメラケーブル(1)を曲げてください。カ
メラケーブルを慎重に導き入れてください。
ライト(5)の明るさを調節すると、画像がしっかり
見えやすくなります。対象が光を強く反射する場
合には、光量を抑えたり、白黒に設定すると、よ
り良好な画像が得られます。
検査対象の物体が不鮮明に表示される場合、カメ
ラヘッド(4)と物体間の距離を広げたり、狭めたり
してください。
故障かな？と思ったら – 原因と対処
注意事項：マイクロSDカード(30)はGIC5‑27Cで
のみ使用可能です。

お手入れと保管
保守と清掃
ハンドユニット(15)を水またはその他の液体中に
浸漬させないでください。
スコープは常にきれいに保ってください。健康を
脅かす物質が存在する領域で作業を行った後は、
スコープおよびすべてのアクセサリーをとりわけ
入念に清掃してください。
汚れは水気を含んだ柔らかい布で拭き取ってくだ
さい。洗剤や溶剤を使用しないでください。
特にカメラレンズ(6)は定期的に清掃を行い、糸く
ずが付着していないか注意してください。
内蔵ボタン電池の交換
ボタン電池の交換は、必ずボッシュまたはボッ
シュ電動工具のカスタマーサービスにお申しつけ
ください。
u注意：ボタン電池は必ず同じタイプのボタン電
池と交換してください。そうしないと破裂する
おそれがあります。
u使い終わったボタン電池を適切に廃棄・処理し
てください。残量がなくなったボタン電池をそ
のままにしておくと、電池から液漏れし、製品
が損傷したり、けがをするおそれがあります。

推奨のリチウムイオン電池は危険物規制規則の条
項に準拠しています。ユーザーが電池を路上輸送
することについて制約が課されることはありませ
ん。
一方、第三者（航空輸送会社や運送会社など）が
発送を行う場合には、包装とラベルに関する特別
な条項に特に注意する必要があります。発送する
品物の準備については危険物の取扱を熟知した専
門の担当者の指導を必ず求めてください。
外装が損傷していない場合にのみ、電池を発送し
てください。開接点は必ず覆い、電池をしっかり
梱包し、包装の中で動かないようにしてくださ
い。また、その他の地域の規定にも注意してくだ
さい。
廃棄
スコープ、電池/充電池、アクセサリーと
梱包材は、環境に適合した方法でリサイ
クルしてください。
スコープと電池/充電池を一般の家庭用ご
みとして廃棄しないでください！
