your enjoy ent in ind. To ensure that it works to its full potential, it needs to be fitted correctly. These fitting
instructions have been created to give you all of the infor ation you need and, if you need any further help, please
do not hesitate to give us a call on 0844 701 6273.

All product anufactured and supplied by Bristan are safe provided they are installed correctly, used correctly and
receive regular aintenance in accordance with these instructions.
These fittings need to be installed in accordance with and eet the require ents of the Water Supply (Water

This product is suitable for use at all supply pressures. If installed at low pressure (tank fed), then the ini u
distance fro the outlet of the nozzle to the underside of the cold tank should
be approxi ately 2 etres to ensure adequate perfor ance.

Water supplies shall be a reasonably balanced pressures fro a co on source (e.g. hot and cold supplies both
fro the sa e storage or both fro a supply pipe). Where the fitting is supplied fro unbalanced supplies (e.g.
hot and cold supplies fro separate sources) a ‘Listed’ single check valve

1. Identify all co ponents and check for co pleteness,
particularly before arranging fitting.
2. Fit the ixer (3) to the sink using the backnut washers (2)
and backnuts (1) below surface.
3. Connect the hot and cold water supplies to the ixer.
4. Fully open both valves, letting the water run
for a few inutes to check all joints and
connections for leaks.

Your fitting has a high quality finish and should be treated with care to preserve the visible surfaces.
All finishes will wear if not cleaned correctly. The only safe way to clean your product is to wipe with a soft da p
cloth. Stains can be re oved using washing up liquid. All bathroo cleaning product (powders and liquids) will
da age the surface of your fitting, even the non-scratch cleaners.
NOTE:- Never use abrasive detergents or disinfectants or those containing alcohol, hydrochloric or phosphoric
acid.
If the fitting begins to drip:
1. Turn off both water supplies.
2. Re ove the handle (7) by pulling fro valve (4) and spline adaptor (5).
3. Re ove the valve by unscrewing fro the body (3) using a suitable spanner.
4. Once re oved, carefully clean seating, rubber washer and cera ic disc.
5. Replace all of the above then turn on the water supply.

The installation ust allow ready access to all products for the purpose of inspection, aintenance or
replace ent.
Any part found to be defective during the above guarantee period will be replaced without charge, providing that the
product has been installed in accordance with the instructions, used as intended, and regularly serviced.
Servicing should be carried out at regular intervals of no ore than 12 onths and ore frequently in hard water
areas (heavy li e scale) areas.
In the unlikely event that any proble s are encountered with the product’s perfor ance on installation, you ust
obtain guidance/authorisation fro our Custo er Service Depart ent, and be able to supply proof and date of
purchase, before any re edial action is taken.
