Safety Tips
• Position the appliance on a flat, stable surface.
• A service agent/qualified technician should carry out installation and any repairs if required. Do not
remove any components on this product.
• Consult Local and National Standards to comply with the following:
• Health and Safety at Work Legislation
• BS EN Codes of Practice
• Fire Precautions
• IEE Wiring Regulations
• Building Regulations
• DO NOT immerse the appliance in water.
• DO NOT touch the top of the appliance when in use. Surfaces are hot!
• DO NOT obstruct or cover the appliance in any way when in use.
• DO NOT use an extension cable to power the appliance.
• Always switch off the appliance, disconnect the power supply and allow to cool before cleaning or
carrying out maintenance.
• Always switch off and disconnect the power supply to the appliance when not in use.
• Keep all packaging away from children. Dispose of the packaging in accordance to the regulations of
local authorities.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a BUFFALO agent or a recommended qualified
technician in order to avoid a hazard.

Operation
The appliance can be turned On or Off using the Temperature knob on the base.
Seasoning the Hot Plate
1. Before using for the first time the cooking surface needs to seasoned. This will create a 'non-stick'
surface on the hot plate.
2. Ensure the cooking surface is clean.
3. Brush the surface with cooking oil.
4. Connect the appliance to the mains power supply.
5. Set the thermostat to 110°C and turn the appliance On. The power indicator light turns on.
6. Once the appliance reaches temperature the power indicator light turns off.
7. Turn the appliance Off and allow to cool before wiping away any excess oil.
8. The appliance is now ready to use. Repeat as neccessary throughout the life of the appliance.
Making Crepes
1. Connect the appliance to the mains power supply.
2. Set the Temperature knob to the desired temperature. The
power indicator light comes on.
3. Once the appliance reaches the set temperature the power
indicator light turns off.
4. Pour the required amount of batter mixture on to the hot
plate.
5. Spread the mixture in a circular motion around the
hotplate with the spreader [Fig. 1].
6. Cook on one side before flipping with the spatula to cook the other side of the crepe.

Technical Specifications
Electrical Wiring
The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket.
This appliance is wired as follows:
• Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L
• Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N
• Earth wire (coloured green/yellow) to terminal marked E
This appliance must be earthed, using a dedicated earthing circuit.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.
Electrical isolation points must be kept clear of any obstructions. In the event of any emergency
disconnection being required they must be readily accessible.

Werking
Met de temperatuurknop zet u het apparaat Aan (On) of Uit (Off).
Hete plaat voorbereiden
1. Alvorens de kookplaat voor de eerste keer te gebruiken, dient u deze voor te bereiden. Dit zorgt voor
een 'niet plakkende' hete plaat.
2. Zorg dat de kookplaat schoon is.
3. Smeer met een kwast de kookplaat in met bakolie.
4. Steek de stekker van het apparaat in het stopcontact.
5. Zet de thermostaat op 110°C en zet het apparaat Aan (On). Het stroomlampje gaat aan.
6. Zodra het apparaat de ingestelde temperatuur heeft bereikt gaat het stroomlampje uit.
7. Zet het apparaat Uit (Off) en laat deze afkoelen alvorens de overtollige olie te verwijderen.
8. Het apparaat is nu gebruiksklaar. Herhaal deze voorbereiding als het nodig is gedurende de
levensduur van het apparaat.
Crêpes maken
1. Steek de stekker van het apparaat in het stopcontact.
2. Zet de temperatuurknop op de gewenste
temperatuurinstelling. Het stroomlampje gaat aan.
3. Zodra het apparaat de ingestelde temperatuur bereikt
heeft, gaat het stroomlampje uit.
4. Schenk de gewenste hoeveelheid beslag op de hete plaat.
5. Spreid het beslag met de beslagspatel in een cirkelvormige
beweging over de hete plaat.
6. Bak eerst één kant alvorens de crêpe met de spartel om te
draaien.

Reiniging, zorg & onderhoud
• Eventuele reparaties moeten door een BUFFALO vertegenwoordiger of een vaktechnicus worden
uitgevoerd.
• Alvorens dit apparaat te reinigen of onderhoud uit te voeren, dient men altijd de stekker uit het
stopcontact te halen en het apparaat te laten afkoelen.
• Indien nodig, maak de buitenkant met een zachte doek en warm zeepwater schoon.
• Laat houten keukengerei niet in water staan.

Oplossen van problemen
Indien er een storing van uw BUFFALO product optreedt, dient u de onderstaande tabel te raadplegen
alvorens contact op te nemen met uw BUFFALO dealer of de Hulplijn te bellen.

Men dient de steker op een geschikt stopcontact aan te sluiten.
De bedrading van dit apparaat is als volgt:

Operation
Le bouton de contrôle de la température permet d'allumer et d'éteindre la crêpière.
Préparation de la plaque chauffante
1. Avant la première utilisation, la plaque chauffante doit être préparée. Cette opération permet de
renforcer les qualités anti-adhérentes de sa surface.
2. Vérifiez que la surface de cuisson est propre.
3. Avec un pinceau, étalez un peu d'huile.
4. Branchez la friteuse à une prise électrique.
5. Réglez le bouton de contrôle de la température sur 110°C et allumez la crêpière. Le voyant
d'alimentation s'allume.
6. Lorsque la crêpière est à la température choisie, le voyant d'alimentation s'éteint.
7. Éteignez la crêpière et laissez-la refroidir, puis essuyez l'huile.
8. La crêpière est maintenant prête à l'usage. Répétez cette opération périodiquement ou selon les
besoins pendant toute la durée de vie de la crêpière.
Pour faire des crêpes
1. Branchez la crêpière à une prise électrique.
2. Réglez le bouton de contrôle sur la température voulue. Le
voyant d'alimentation s'allume.
3. Lorsque la crêpière est à la température choisie, le voyant
d'alimentation s'éteint.
4. Versez la quantité voulue de pâte à crêpes sur la surface
de cuisson.
5. Étalez la pâte d'un geste circulaire sur toute la surface avec
le répartiteur en bois.
6. Laissez cuire un côté de la crêpe puis retournez-la avec la spatule pour cuire l'autre côté.

Nettoyage, entretien et maintenance
• Toute réparation doit être confiée à un agent ou technicien qualifié BUFFALO.
• Avant tout nettoyage ou opération d'entretien, vous devez éteindre l'appareil, le débrancher de
l'alimentation électrique et le laisser refroidir.
• Pour nettoyer les surfaces extérieures, essuyez-les avec un tissu doux imbibé d'eau chaude
savonneuse.
• Ne laissez pas tremper dans l'eau vos ustensiles en bois.
• Séchez-les avec soin après chaque nettoyage.

En cas de panne de votre appareil BUFFALO, vérifiez les données du tableau ci-dessous avant d'appeler
notre standard d'assistance ou votre revendeur BUFFALO.

Betrieb
Das Gerät kann am Temperaturregler ein- oder ausgeschaltet werden.
Vorbereiten der Crêpe-Platte
1. Vor dem ersten Gebrauch muss die Platte vorbereitet werden, um eine "Antihaftbeschichtung" zu
erzeugen.
2. Darauf achten, dass die Platte sauber ist.
3. Speiseöl mit einem Pinsel auf der Platte verteilen.
4. Das Gerät an den Netzstrom anschließen.
5. Das Thermostat auf 110°C stellen und das Gerät einschalten. Die Stromanzeige leuchtet auf.
6. Sobald das Gerät die Gartemperatur erreicht, erlischt die Stromanzeige.
7. Vor dem Abwischen des überschüssigen Öls das Gerät ausschalten und abkühlen lassen.
8. Nun ist die Crêpe-Platte einsatzbereit. Nach Bedarf wiederholen.
Crêpes zubereiten
1. Das Gerät an den Netzstrom anschließen.
2. Den Temperaturregler auf die gewünschte Temperatur
einstellen. Die Stromanzeige leuchtet auf.
3. Sobald das Gerät die eingestellte Temperatur erreicht,
schaltet sich die Stromanzeige aus.
4. Die nötige Teigmenge auf die Platte gießen.
5. Den Teig mit dem Teig-Verteiler kreisförmig auf der Platte
verteilen.
6. Zunächst eine Seite braten, dann das Crêpe mit dem
Crêpe-Wender wenden und auf der anderen Seite ebenfalls braten.

Reinigung, Pflege und Wartung
• Erforderliche Reparaturen sollten von einem BUFFALO-Händler oder einem qualifizierten Techniker
ausgeführt werden.
• Vor Reinigen des Geräts oder Wartungsarbeiten stets das Gerät ausschalten, den Netzstecker ziehen
und warten, bis sich das Gerät abgekühlt hat.
• Bei Bedarf das Gerät außen mit einem weichen Tuch und einer warmen Seifenlauge abwischen.
• Holzutensilien nicht längere Zeit in Wasser liegen lassen.
• Nach dem Reinigen gründlich trocknen.

Bei einem Defekt Ihres BUFFALO-Geräts konsultieren Sie bitte zunächst folgende Tabelle, bevor Sie die
Helpline oder Ihren BUFFALO-Händler anrufen.
