-WINTERCARE-
Fountainbowls/topsandotherfountaincomponents,whichcollect water, shouldnotbeleftoutsideinthewinter since anycomponent,
whichfillswithwater andfreezesmaycrack.Likewise, componentssuchaspedestals,whichremaininabasin,filledwithwater,
whichthenfreezes,mayalsocrackor crumble. Ideally, therefore, afountainshouldalwaysbestoredindoorsor inadryprotected
place suchasacoveredporchawayfromtheelements. However, ifafountainmustbeleftoutside:
(1) Removepump, rubber stoppers, drainpipes, finials,andother smallcomponentsfor storageindoors. Note that stoppersor
drainpipesareremovedtoallowdrainageintheeventwater accumulatesinanybasin.
(2) Raisefountainbasefromgroundwithwood stripssothat basewill notfreeze tothegroundsurface.
(3) Cover or wrapthefountainwithburlapor other absorbentmaterial (oldblanket or towel) andthencover securelywith
plastic,making surethat water will notaccumulate inthebasinor other fountaincomponentandfreeze;
(4) Checkfountainperiodicallytoensurethatplastic issecureandwater isnotaccumulating inanyfountaincomponent.
-GENERALFOUNTAINTIPS-
Install fountainsonalevel surface. Youwill needaproperlygrounded110-volt (AConly) GFCI protectedreceptaclenear the
fountainfor your pump. All pumpsaresubmersible andmustbecompletelyunderwater tofunctionproperly. Testall pumpsand
adjusttofull outputprior toassembly. Itisnotrecommendedthat fountainsbeplaceddirectlyongrass or dirt. Positionthechannel
opening at thebaseofeachfountaintoward theelectrical outlet tobeusedsince thepump
cord willbethreadedthroughthisopening.

1. Position thebase(FT-319F) where thefountainistobeinstalled,
ensuring thatitislevel.
2. Position thebasin (FT-319E)over thebase.
a. Note:Be sure thedrain holeis positionedtowardthefront
ofthebasin.
3. Place thepumpcover(FT-319C) alongthebackedgeofthebasin.
4. Assemblethepumpand tubing.
a. Using ahoseclamp, attachthe1/2"non-kink tubingtothe
small pumpoutlet.
b. NOTE: All pumpscomewith 2adapters.
i. This fountainusesthe smaller adapter provided.
5. Place thepumpin thecenter ofthepumpcover.
6. Laythepumpcordover theedgeatthebackofthebasin.
a. Note:Thereisacutout in thebackofthewater feature
(FT-319A)thatwill accommodateforthecord.
7. Place thewater feature(FT-319A)on topofthepumpcover and
ensure thatthepumpcordexits throughtheholeprovided.
8. InserttheCPVCpipeattachedto thepreassembledtubingintothe
couplingprotrudingfromthebottomofthewater feature (FT-
319A).
9. Place thespiller stopper (FT-319B) insidethetop ofthewater
feature.
10.Place thepumpcoverdoor(FT-319D)inthepumpaccessopening
ofthepumpcover.
