Using the included hex wrench, loosen and remove the bolts and
faceplate from the stem. The stem connects the handlebar to the
fork. Set the bolts and faceplate aside together, so you don’t lose
anything.
Place the handlebar into the stem and verify the brake hoses and
shift cables wrap around the frame cleanly, without visible kinks in
the lines.
Loosely reattach the faceplate to the stem. Take care to not tighten
one bolt more than another. Your goal is a consistent gap between
the stem and faceplate.
Center the handlebar in the stem using the markings on the bar, then
roll it back into a comfortable position.
Hand-tighten the stem bolts using the Allen key, ensuring there’s an
even gap between the stem body and faceplate at both the top and
bottom of the stem. You will fully tighten these later.

Unthread the thru-axle from the fork and place it on a clean surface.
Remove the front brake pad spacer from the brake caliper. Take care
not to pull the front brake lever when either the pad spacer or a brake
rotor is in-between the brake pads.
Carefully lift the bike out of the box and lower the fork gently onto the
ground.
Remove the e-bike charger from the larger bicycle box and set it
aside. We’ll get back to it later.

When installing the front wheel, ensure the brake rotor is on the same
side as the brake caliper on the fork.
Lift the front of the bike and roll the front wheel backward into the
fork dropouts, making sure the rotor goes in-between the brake pads.
Insert the thru-axle from the right/drivetrain side of the bike and
tighten with a 6mm hex wrench. The wrench should leave a mark on

on the pedals prior to installation.

arm and tighten with your ngers. Repeat with the left pedal (with an
L on it). Please note: Both pedals tighten in the direction of the front
wheel.
Use the provided pedal wrench to tighten both pedals down very

To remove the battery cover packaging, support the battery cover,
then turn the battery cover latch counterclockwise. Pull back the
packaging on the battery cover.
Once the packaging is removed, reinstall the battery cover by turning

Torque Bolts. Select the correct bit for the stem bolts and install it
into the torque wrench.
Look for the torque specication markings on the front and back
of the stem, as well as the seatpost. If these markings are absent,
torque all stem, seatpost and seat collar bolts to 7 Nm.
Tighten the stem bolts in an ‘X’ pattern and ensure the gap is even
between the stem and faceplate at all four bolts.

of the handlebar.
Adjust seat height by loosening the seatpost collarwith a hex wrench.
Standing next to the bike, position the saddle so it’s the same height
as your hip.
Align the saddle with the frame and tighten the seatpost clamp.
When riding, you should have a slight bend in your knee when the
pedal is at the bottom of its rotation.
Once you have established a comfortable seat height, use the torque
wrench to tighten the seat collar to the proper torque specication.
Do not exceed the recommended torque values.
 Ensure the front reector points straight ahead,
perpendicular to the ground. The rear reector must point straight
back. Tighten both reectors with a screwdriver.
Gently pull the wheel reectors toward the rim to ensure they are
braced by the spokes.

handlebar. If the handlebar and wheel move independently, the stem
bolts are not tight enough. Use the torque wrench and correct bit to

it moves, the stemfaceplate bolts are nottight enough. Usethetorque
