Caring for Your Photographs
The Canon i950 Photo Printer will generate spectacular results for printing
photographs, especially when used with Canon specialty edia. All i ages are
susceptible to fading over ti e, but proper care of prints ade fro your i950 Photo
Printer will ensure that print quality lasts long into the future.
Many environ ental factors can i pact how long a printout will last before noticeable
i age fading occurs. Exposure to sunlight or other light sources, hu idity,
te perature, exposure to cigarette s oke and ozone are just so e of the factors that
can i pact i age per anence. While any of these variables cannot be controlled,
there are basic easures that you can take to prolong i age quality:
• Use Canon Photo Paper Pro and genuine Canon inks. Try Canon Photo Paper Pro or
Canon Photo Paper Pro for Borderless Printing (4"×6"). Both papers are specifically
designed to work with genuine Canon inks.
• Mount i ages under glass to reduce exposure to ozone, cigarette s oke and other
environ ental factors that can degrade i ages.
• Keep printed i ages out of direct sunlight or other intense light sources.
