The Canon imagePROGRAF iPF9000 takes large-format color produc-
tion to the next level. The 12-color pigment system with LUCIA inks
was designed to expand the spectrum of color for environments
from photography to design. The new L-COA controller intelligently
processes the data and directs the rapid printing process to the two
ultra high-density, high-quality, and high-speed print heads. The
included software suite makes the iPF9000 an innovative, out-of-
the-box printing solution that can be utilized by all types of digital
professionals. The imagePROGRAF iPF9000 printer is the result of
accumulated knowledge from Canon’s photography, imaging, and
printingtechnologies, all of which have been brought together to

AMAZING COLOR
The imagePROGRAF iPF9000 features a newly developed,
12-color pigment ink system designed to expand the color
reproduction range by providing an extremely wide color gamut
for vivid accurate colors and fine precise details. The expanded
color gamut produces brilliant colors to more accurately match a
broader spectrum of colors. The two levels of gray provide a
perfectly neutral monotone output that surpasses expectations.
Also, the utilization of automatic switching between regular
black and matte black eliminates the wasted ink and time spent
swapping out ink tanks. The combinations of these 12 inks
produce exquisite results.
EXCEPTIONAL SPEED AND PRODUCTIVITY
Engineered for speed and advanced image production, the
iPF9000 model boastsCanon’s new L-COA controller, a dual
print-head system with FINE technology, and a 40GB hard drive.
The L-COA print controller intelligently processes print data and
directs the two high-precision, high-density (30,720 nozzles)
print heads to lay down ink with extraordinary speed and
accuracy. It’s so smart, it’s simple. A single chip optimizes the
printer’s capabilities and accelerates processing while the dual
high-density one-inch print heads—each with 15,360 nozzles—
deliver smooth yet beautiful gradations on every print. The
onboard hard drive allows for print jobs to be saved for future
printing.

designed to enable direct printing of 16-bit RGB images
directly from Adobe Photoshop 6/7/CS/CS2.
■Digital PhotoPrint Pro – DPPP simplifies advanced
functions such as red-eye correction, dust removal, skin tone
improvement, and many other features.
■PosterArtist – PosterArtist helps users of all levels to cre-
ate professional-looking posters, banners, and signage with
extreme ease.
■Printer Driver 2006 –The imagePROGRAF printer driver
2006 works with both Windows®and Macintosh®operating
systems, offering exceptional, high-quality prints through
easy usability and accurate color. Features such as Nesting
and imageRUNNER®Scan-To-Print are included.
