1. INTRODUCTION - INTRODUCTION
You have taken delivery of one
of our products, and on behalf of
all my colleagues I would like to
thank you for the condence that
you have shown in us.
Before using the machine, we re-
commend that you read this manual
carefully and that you comply with
the instructions scrupulously. By
doing this, you will avoid exposing
yourself to danger, you will reduce
the time required for putting the
machine into service and the risk of
undesirable incidents.
This instruction manual contains all
the practical information required to
operate, handle, adjust and main-
tain your machine correctly and
safely.
Keep this instruction manual per-
manently at hand or at your place of
work (or farm).
Give it to any other user, or if your
machine is sold or lent to someone
else.

be adhered to for your safety. When

le labour et pour décompacter avec un
châssis susceptible de recevoir diffé-
rentes congurations de montage de
lames.
La machine effectue un travail du sol
sans retournement avec des lames
courbes sécurité boulon jusqu’à 0m30.
Les largeurs de travail vont de 2m50 à
3m50 xe et de 4m à 5m repliable.
La machine peut être équipée de diffé-

The implement is designed to be both
a replacement for ploughing and also a
subsoiler. It’s frame is capable of recei-
ving different tine arrangements.
The implement works the ground wit-
hout soil inversion, using shear bolt pro-
tected curved tines that have a working
depth of up to 0.3 m.
Working widths are from 2.5 m to 3.5 m
for the xed versions and from 4 m to 5
m for the folding versions.
The implement can be equipped with
different rear attachments.
NB: for the different tine arrange-
ments see paragraph 5.2.
The technical details, dimensions and
weight are only given as a guide, they
may be modied without warning and
vary depending on the equipment and
the tine arrangement of the NEOLAB
TWIN.

Ensure that both the warnings, and
the warning diagram stickers are
always clean and visible. In the event
of deterioration, ask for new warning
stickers from the manufacturer (or
your dealer).
In the event of repairs being carried
out, ensure that the replacement
parts carry the same warning stickers
as the original parts.

3.2 Utilisation conforme à l’usage prévu - Usage as intended
Le NEOLAB TWIN est un outil pour
décompacter, aérer et préparer le
sol sans le déplacer. Son utilisation
peut se faire simultanément avec le
semis.
Toute utilisation autre que celle-
ci sera considérée comme non
conforme à l’usage prévu et dégage-
ra le constructeur de toute responsa-
bilité en cas de préjudice, l’utilisateur
supportera seul les risques résultant
d’une telle utilisation.

Pour éviter les blessures des yeux,
ne pas regarder directement dans la
zone du capteur radar en service.
To avoid eye injuries, do not look di-
rectly at the area where the radar sen-
sor is operating.
Um Augenverletzungen zu vermei-
den, darf man nicht direkt in den Ra-
darsensor schauen.
The NEOLAB TWIN is an implement
designed for subsoiling, aerating and
preparing the ground, without soil in-
version. It can be used simultaneous-
ly with sowing.
Any use,other than those mentio-
ned above, will be considered as not
complying with its intended use, and
therefore free the manufacturer of
any liability in the event of a problem
occurring, The user will be solely res-
ponsible for the consequences of any
such use.

3.3 Prescription générale de sécurité - General safety instructions
Respectez l’ensemble des
prescriptions d’installation, de
fonctionnement, de réglages, de
maintenance et de réparation
contenues dans cette notice.
Utilisez exclusivement des pièces
de rechange et des accessoires
conformes aux préconisations du
fabricant. L’utilisation, l’entretien
et la remise en état de la machine
ne devront être conés qu’à des
personnes familiarisées et informées
des dangers éventuels.
Ne modiez pas vous-même et
ne faites pas modier par une
autre personne votre machine et
ses accessoires (caractéristiques
mécaniques, électriques,
hydrauliques, pneumatiques), sans
demander au préalable l’accord écrit
de votre fabricant. Le non-respect de
ses règles peut rendre votre machine
dangereuse. En cas de dégâts ou
de blessures, la responsabilité du
fabricant sera entièrement dégagée.
Il convient en outre de respecter les
consignes particulières de prévention
des accidents, ainsi que les règles
générales en matière de sécurité
technique, de médecine de travail et
de législation routière.
Le constructeur décline toute res-
ponsabilité en cas de préjudice ré-
sultant d’une modication apportée
à la machine sans son agrément.
N’utiliser la machine que si tous les
dispositifs de protection et de sécuri-
té sont en place et fonctionnent bien.
Contrôler régulièrement le bon ser-
rage des vis et les resserrer si néces-
saire, en particulier les vis de serrage
des dents.
En cas d’incidents de fonctionne-
ment, arrêter tout de suite la ma-
chine, puis procéder ou faire procé-
der immédiatement à la réparation
de la panne.

All of the instructions for mounting,
use, settings, maintenance and
repairs shown in this manual must be
complied with.
Only use replacement parts and
accessories that comply with the
manufacturers specications. The
use, maintenance and repairs of the
implement should only be carried out
by people that have been informed
and are aware of any potential hazard.
Do not carry out any modications
(mechanical, electric, hydraulic, or
wheel equipment) yourself or ask
anybody to carry out any modications
of your implement or its accessories,
without prior written agreement
from the manufacturer. The non-
compliance with these regulations
may lead to your implement being
dangerous. The manufacturer will not
be held liable for any damage or any
injury caused. All legislation for health
and safety at work, and the use of
public highways must be complied
with.
The manufacturer refuses all liabi-
lity in the event of any accident or
loss following a modication car-
ried out on the implement without
his prior agreement.
Only use the implement If all the
equipment related to safety is in
place and functions correctly.
Ensure that all bolts are correctly
tightened, and if necessary re-tigh-
ten them, particularly the tine holding
bolts.
In the event of any incident occur-
ring while the implement is in use,
stop immediately and carry out any
repairs that are necessary.

3.4 Sécurité sur le domaine public - Safety in the public domain
Avant d’aller sur une route, il faut se
familiariser avec le fonctionnement
de toutes les commandes.
Respectez les règles du code de la
route lorsque vous vous engagez sur
le domaine public (routes, chemins et
places). Assurez vous préalablement
que l’état de la machine est conforme
aux réglementations prescrites par le
code de la route, en particulier au ni-
veau de la signalisation et de l’éclai-
rage.
Respecter la largeur de transport
admise.
Adaptez votre vitesse et votre mode
de conduite aux terrains, routes et
chemins. Soyez vigilants et prudents
en toute circonstance et notamment
sur les terrains accidentés et
pentus, conduisez la machine à faible
vitesse, surtout dans les virages et
évitez les brusques changements de
direction. Ne pas freiner ou démarrer
brutalement en montant ou descendant
une pente.
La conduite est inuencée par la
machine attelée sur le tracteur.
Respecter la limite de charge d’essieu
et la masse totale admise an que la
précision de direction et de freinage soit
maintenue, et, dans les virages, tenir
particulièrement compte du porte à faux
et de la masse d’inertie de la machine.
Ne transportez aucune personne sur
la machine.
Veillez à utiliser le verrouillage hy-
draulique de sécurité pour le trans-
port.

Hydraulic transport locking using an independent hydraulic service
Before using the public highway it is
essential that the operator fully un-
derstands all of the controls.
Respect the highway code when
using roads and tracks and all other
public areas. Ensure that the state
of the implement complies with the
highway code, particularly marker
panels and road lighting equipment.
Comply with the permitted transport
width.
Ensure that your speed and driving
style is suitable for the roads , tracks
and terrain. Always remain vigi-
lant and cautious, particularly when
travelling over uneven or sloping
ground; drive at a low speed particu-
larly when turning, and avoid any bru-
tal changes of direction. Do not start
or brake aggressively when going up
or down a slope.
The manner in which the tractor
behaves is determined by the imple-
ment attached to it. Comply with the
maximum axle weight limits, and
overall laden weight in order that
precise steering and braking can be
maintained, and in bends pay atten-
tion to overhang and momentum.
Never carry anyone on the imple-
ment.
Ensure that the hydraulic locking is
used to ensure that the implement is
transported safely.

3.5 Prévention des accidents - Accidents prevention
En complément aux recommanda-
tions faites dans ce manuel, respec-
tez les prescriptions des assurances
mutuelles agricoles.
Pendant l’opération d’attelage de la
machine sur le tracteur :
- Veiller à ce que la machine repose
sur un sol stable.
- Ne jamais rester entre le trac-
teur et la machine il y a risque d’acci-
dent.
- Manœuvrer le relevage trois
points hydraulique lentement et avec
précaution.
- Vérier que les catégories de
l’attelage trois points du tracteur et
de la machine correspondent.

Système hydraulique :
- Ne brancher les conduites hydrau-
liques au système hydraulique du
tracteur que s’il n’y a aucune pres-
sion coté tracteur et coté machine.
- Le système hydraulique fonctionne
avec de la haute pression, vérier
régulièrement si toutes les conduites,
les tuyaux et les raccords n’ont pas
de fuite ou de détériorations visibles.
Si c’est le cas, le remplacement doit
être immédiat.
- L’huile s’échappant sous pression
peut causer des blessures et des
infections: Consulter un médecin.
- Avant de travailler sur le circuit hy-
draulique, enlever la pression et cou-
per le moteur.
Pendant l’utilisation :
- Avant la mise en route, s’assurer
que personne ne se trouve à proxi-
mité de la machine. Veiller à avoir
une visibilité sufsante.
- Ne transporter aucune personne
sur la machine pendant le travail.
- Aucun dispositif de protection pres-
crit et livré avec la machine ne doit
être enlevé.
- Eloigner toute personne se trouvant
dans la zone de pivotement des ral-
longes repliables par hydraulique.
- La machine entraîne au cours du
travail et lors du déplacement de
nombreuses projections de terre et
de cailloux. Eloigner toute personne
se situant à proximité de la machine.
Always comply with the Health and
Safety at Work Regulations, as well
as the recommendations set out in
this instruction manual.
When hitching the implement to the
tractor:
- Ensure that the implement is stan-
ding on rm ground.
- Never stand between the
tractor and the implement is there is
an accident risk.
- Always alter the three point
linkage position slowly and carefully.
- Ensure that the category of
the implement linkage and the tractor
linkage are the same.
Hydraulic system :
- Never attach the hydraulic pipes
to the tractor if there is pressure in
either the implement’s hydraulic sys-
tem or the tractor’s hydraulic system.
- The hydraulic system works under
a high pressure, check that there
are no hydraulic leaks on any of the
hydraulic pipes, and that the connec-
tors do not leak, or that there is any
visible deterioration.In the event of
there being leaks or deterioration
replace the defective pipe or connec-
tors immediately.
- Oil escaping under high pressure
can cause injuries and infections.
Consult a Doctor.
- Before working on a hydraulic cir-
cuit release all of the pressure, and
stop the engine.
During use:
- Before starting off, ensure that
nobody is in the area around the
machine. Ensure that you have suf-
cient visibility.
- Never carry anyone on the imple-
ment.
- Never take off any of the safety de-
vices or guards shown in the manual.
- Ensure that nobody is in the area
around hydraulically controlled pivot
points of wings etc.
- When the machine is in work it can
cause earth and stones etc. to be
thrown up. Ensure that nobody is in
the area around it.

- Pour le montage et le démontage,
utiliser des moyens appropriés qui ne
mettent pas votre sécurité en danger.
- Proter du nettoyage de la machine
à la n de chaque campagne - au mi-
nimum - pour vérier si les conduites
hydrauliques sont bien étanches, si
les raccords sont desserrés ou s’il
y a des défauts dus au frottement.
Remplacer immédiatement ce qui est
détérioré.
- Pour le remplacement des pièces
d’usure, utiliser des outils appropriés
et porter des gants.
- Les pièces détachées doivent cor-
respondre aux exigences techniques
du constructeur, ce qui est toujours le
cas avec des pièces d’origine.
- Avant d’effectuer des travaux de
soudure électrique sur la machine,
lorsqu’il est attelé sur le tracteur, dé-
connecter les câbles de l’alternateur
et de la batterie.

3.6 Entretien et réparation - Maintenance and repair -
- Respecter les délais prescrits ou
indiqués dans ce manuel pour pro-
céder aux vérications et inspections
prévues.
- Avant de faire des travaux d’entre-
tien et de réparation, dételer la ma-
chine du tracteur.
- Ne procéder à des travaux d’entre-
tien ou de réparation que si la ma-
chine repose à plat sur un sol bien
stable et ne risque pas de se renver-
ser.
- Ne pas effectuer des travaux d’en-
tretien sur l’appareil relevé sans avoir
mis par mesure de sécurité des sup-
ports appropriés.
Comply with the timing shown in this
manual when checking over the im-
plement.
- Before carrying out maintenance
and repairs unhitch the implement
from the tractor.
- Do not carry out any maintenance
or repairs unless the implement is
placed on rm ground and there is no
risk of it turning over.
- Never carry out any repairs or main-
tenance if the implement is raised
unless appropriate stands have been
put into place to ensure that it is safe
to do so.
- For assembly and dismantling
always use the appropriate means to
avoid endangering your own safety.
- Make the most of cleaning the ma-
chine at the end of the season(at the
very least) to check the condition of
all hydraulic pipes and ttings, that
the connectors are not loose, and
that there is no damage due to rub-
bing.
- Replace any parts that shows signs
of deterioration immediately.
- All replacement parts must comply
with the manufacturers specica-
tions, which is the case when ge-
nuine replacement parts are used.
- Before carrying out any welding on
the implement when it is hitched to
a tractor, ensure that the alternator
wires and the battery cables have
been disconnected.

4. COMMANDES DE L’OPÉRATEUR - OPERATOR CONTROLS
En matière d’attelage, et pour
une raison de sécurité, il est
impératif d’utiliser les broches d ‘ori-
gine. An de ne pas les égarer, les
broches ainsi que leurs goupilles
clips sont liées à la machine par une
chaînette.
Dans le cas d’une machine à
repliage hydraulique des rallonges,
la commande du circuit hydraulique
doit être à action maintenue, c’est à
dire que le distributeur du tracteur,
lorsqu’il n’est pas maintenu, revient
en position neutre et le mouvement
est arrêté.
5. MONTAGE ET MISE EN SERVICE - ASSEMBLY AND PUTTING INTO
SERVICE
5.1 Liaison sur le tracteur - Link on the tractor
Le NEOLAB TWIN xe est équipé
d’un attelage 3 Points à broches
entre chape N°3, avec broche N°2/3.
Le NEOLAB TWIN repliable est
équipé d’un attelage 3 Points à

For safety reasons when
hitching the implement it is
essential to use the pins provided.
In order to prevent them from being
lost, the pins and their linchpins are
attached to the implement by a small
chain.
Where the implement wings
are hydraulically folded, it is
essential that the tractor’s hydraulic
service requires pressure to be main-
tained on its control button or lever in
order to operate it, that is to say that
the hydraulic control must always
spring back into neutral when it is
released.
The xed version of the NEOLAB
TWIN is equipped with a 3 point lin-
kage using a Cat. 2/3 pin and a Cat.3
clevis arrangement.
The folding version of the NEOLAB
TWIN is equipped with 3 point lin-
kage using a Cat.3/4 clevis and a

5.2 Montage des lames - Tine mounting
ATTENTION : Ne jamais rester entre
le tracteur et le NEOLAB TWIN, il y
a risque d’accident.
L’ensemble «Tracteur +
NEOLAB TWIN» représente une
masse importante. En vue de per-
mettre une stabilité statique suf-
sante il faut s’assurer que la charge
sur l’essieu avant du tracteur n’est
pas inférieure à 20% de la masse
à vide du tracteur. Pour cela la
méthode la plus pratique consiste
à peser l’avant du tracteur sur une
bascule et comparer le résultat avec
la valeur conseillée. Dans la notice
du tracteur, ajouter des masses à
l’avant du tracteur si nécéssaire.

The weight of the combi-
nation ‘NEOLAB TWIN + tractor’ is
extremely heavy. In order to ensure
stability when the combination is
stationary, it is essential that the
weight on the front axle of the trac-
tor exceeds 20% of the total tractor
unladen weight. The easiest way
of doing this is to weigh the front of
the tractor on a weighbridge and to
compare it with the recommended
weight according to the tractors ins-
truction manual. Use tractor front
end weights if necessary.

Les lames sont montées avec un
axe précisaillé pour dégager la lame
en cas d’effort important. Cet axe à
positions multiples, peut être utilisé
jusqu’à 3 fois.
Il existe plusieurs congurations pos-
sibles en fonction du travail recher-
ché.
Deux types de montage de lames
sont possible, lame 600 ou lame 700.
Le positionnement des brides de
lames est déni par l’emplacement
de l’ergot sur le châssis.

Ergot -Spigot
The tines are mounted with a pre-cut
shear pin in order to allow them to
break back if there is too much resis-
tance. The shear pin can be used up
to 3 times as it has several sections.
There are various settings in order to
achieve the required nish.
There are two different tine possibili-
ties, the 600 tine or the 700 tine.The
tine holder bracket positions are de-
termined by the spigots on the frame.

La valeur d’intervalle de terrage entre deux trous du secteur de roue est de 35 mm.
Changing the depth control wheel adjustment by one hole alters the working depth by 35 mm.
The depth control wheels enable the
working depth to be controlled in a
more precise manner and offer better
implement stability.

Dans le cas ou la machine est dotée
d’un équipement arrière, les roues
de terrage permettent un équilibre
avant/arrière performant. Dans ce
cas, il est préconisé de positionner la
broche 3e point dans la lumière de
l’attelage.
