GENERAL POWER
TOOLS SAFETY
WARNING
- WARNING Read all safety
warnings and all instructions,
illustrations and speci-
cations provided with this
power tool. Failure to follow all
instructions listed below may
result in electric shock, re and/
or serious injury
- Save all warnings and instruc-
tions for future reference.
-The term “power tool” in
the warnings refers to your
mains-operated (corded) power
tool or battery-operated (cord-
less) power tool.
WORK AREA SAFETY
- Keep work area clean and well
lit.Cluttered or dark areas invite
accidents
-Do not operate power tools in
explosive atmospheres, such
as in the presence of am-
mable liquids, gases or dust.
Power tools create sparks which
may ignite the dust or fumes
-Keep children and bystanders
away while operating a power
tool. Distractions can cause you
to lose control.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
-Power tool plugs must match
the outlet. Never modify
the plug in any way. Do not
use any adapter plugs with
earthed (grounded) power
tools. Unmodied plugs and
matching outlets will reduce risk
of electric shock.
-Avoid body contact with
earthed or grounded surfaces,
such as pipes, radiators, rang-
es and refrigerators. There
is an increased risk of electric
shock if your body is earthed or
grounded.
-Do not expose power tools to
rain or wet conditions. Water
entering a power tool will in-
crease the risk of electric shock.
-Do not abuse the cord. Never
use the cord for carrying,
pulling or unplugging the
power tool. Keep cord away

from heat, oil, sharp edges
or moving parts. Damaged or
entangled cords increase the
risk of electric shock.
-When operating the power
tool outdoors, use an exten-
sion cord suitable for outdoor
use.Use a cord suitable for
outdoor use reduces the risk of
electric shock.
-If operating a power tool in a
damp location is unavoidable,
use a residual current device
(RCD) protected supply. Use
of an RCD reduces the risk of
electric shock.
PERSONAL SAFETY
-Stay alert, watch what you are
doing and use common sense
when operating a power tool.
Do not use a power tool while
you are tired or under the
inuence of drugs, alcohol
or medication. A moment of
inattention while operating pow-
er tools may result in serious
personal injury.
-Use personal protective
equipment. Always wear
eye protection. Protective
equipment such as dust mask,
non-skid safety shoes, hard
hat, or hearing protection used
for appropriated conditions will
reduce personal injuries.
-Prevent unintentional starting.
Ensure the switch is in the
off-position before connect-
ing the power source and/
or battery pack, picking up
or carrying the tool. Carrying
power tools with your nger on
the switch or energizing power
tools that have the switch on
invites accidents.
-Remove any adjusting key
or wrench before turning the
power tool on. A wrench or a
key left attached to a rotating
part of the power tool may result
in personal injury.
-Do not overreach. Keep
proper footing and balance at
all times. This enables better
control of the power tool in
unexpected situations.
-Dress properly. Do not wear
loose clothing or jewellery.
Keep your hair and clothing
away from moving parts.
Loose clothes, jewellery or long
hair can be caught in moving
parts.
-If devices are provided for the
connection of dust extraction
and collection facilities,
ensure these are connected
and properly used. Use of dust
collection can reduce dust-rela-
ted hazards.
-Do not let familiarity gained
from frequent use of tools
allow you to become compla-
cent and ignore tool safety
principles. A careless action
can cause severe injury within a
fraction of a second.

POWER TOOL USE AND CARE
-Do not force the power tool.
Use the correct power tool for
your application. The correct
power tool will do the job better
and safer at the rate for which it
was designed.
-Do not use the power tool if
the switch does not turn it on
and off. Any power tool that
cannot be controlled with the
switch is dangerous and must
be repaired.
-Disconnect the plug from the
power source and/or battery
pack, if detachable, from the
power tool before making any
adjustments, changing acces-
sories, or storing power tools.
Such preventive safety mea-
sures reduce the risk of starting
the power tool accidentally.
-Store idle power tool out of
the reach of children and do
not allow persons unfamiliar
with the power tool or these
instructions to operate the
power tool. Power tools are
dangerous in the hands of
untrained users.
-Maintain power tools and
accessories. Check for
misalignment or binding of
moving parts, breakage of
parts and any other condition
that may affect the power
tool’s operation. If damaged,
have the power tool repaired
before use. Many accidents are
caused by poorly maintained
power tools.
-Keep cutting tools sharp and
clean. Properly maintained
cutting tools with sharp cutting
edges are less likely to bind and
are easier to control.
-Use the power tool, accesso-
ries and tool bits etc in accor-
dance with these instructions,
taking into account the work-
ing conditions and the work to
be performed. Use of the power
tool for operations different from
those intended could result in a
hazardous situation.
-Keep handles and grasping
surfaces dry, clean and free
from oil and grease. Slippery
handles and grasping surfaces
do not allow for safe handling
and control of the tool in unex-
pected situations.
SERVICE
-Have your power tool serviced
by a qualied repair person
using only identical replace-
ment parts. This will ensure
that the safety of the power tool
is maintained.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR
RECIPROCATING SAWS
-Hold the power tool by
insulated gripping surfaces,
when performing an operation
where the cutting accessory
may contact hidden wiring or
its own cord. Cutting accesso-

ry contacting a “live” wire may
make exposed metal parts of the
power tool “live” and could give
the operator an electric shock.
-Use clamps or another practi-
cal way to secure and support
the workpiece to a stable
platform. Holding the workpiece
by hand or against your body
leaves it unstable and may lead
to loss control.
SAFETY RULES FOR LASER
LIGHTS
- The laser light used is Class
2 with maximum 1mW power
and 650nm wavelength. These
lasers do not normally present
optical hazard, although staring
at the beam may cause ash
blindness.
- WARNING: Do not stare directly
at the laser beam. A hazard may
exist if you deliberatedly stare
into the beam, please observe
all safety rules as follows.
- The laser shall be used and
maintained in accordance with
manufacturer’s instructions,
- Never aim the beam at any
person or an object other than
the workpiece.
- Do not deliberately aim the
beam at personnel and ensure
that it is not directed towards the
eye of a person.
- Always ensure the laser beam is
aimed at a sturdy workpiece wi-
thout reective surfaces. Bright
shiny reective sheetsteel or the
like is not suitable for laser use
as the reective surface could
direct the beam back at the
operator.
- Always switch off the laser when
not used.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY WAR-
NINGS
- CAUTION: In order to prevent
overheating do not cover the
appliance.
- Ensure that neither the air
access nor exit become either
totally or partially covered by
drapery, clothing, etc., as this
increases the risk of re.
- Do not use the appliance if the
cable or plug is damaged.
- Ensure that the voltage indica-
ted on the rating label matches
the mains voltage before plug-
ging in the appliance.
- Connect the appliance to a soc-
ket that can supply a minimum
of 16 amperes.
- Only use the appliance with
the specic electric connector
provided.
- If any of the appliance casings
breaks, immediately disconnect
the appliance from the mains
to prevent the possibility of an
electric shock.

- CAUTION: Maintain the applian-
ce dry.
- CAUTION: Do not use the
appliance near water.
- Do not use the appliance with
damp hands or feet, or when
barefooted.
- Do not wrap the power cord
around the appliance.
- Do not clip or crease the power
cord.
- Check the state of the power
cord. Damaged or tangled ca-
bles increase the risk of electric
shock.
- Do not touch the plug with wet
hands.
- Ensure that the resulting sparks
not become dangerous, for
example, that they don’t reach
people or ignite ammable
substances.
- Use clamps or a vise to secure
the object to be worked in place.
The work will be safer if both
hands are free to control the
tool.
- Do not touch any of the applian-
ce’s moving parts while it is
operating.
- Do not touch the router bit or
the workpiece immediately after
operation. They might be extre-
mely hot and burn you.
- Exercise precaution after
employing the stop operation
on the appliance as the tool will
continue moving from the effect
of its own mechanical inertia.
- CAUTION: Laser radiation; do
not stare into the beam. Class-2
laser.
- Fully unroll the appliance’s
power cable before each use.
- Do not use the appliance if its
accessories are not properly
tted.
- Do not use the appliance if the
accessories or consumables
attached to it are defective.
Replace them immediately.
- Use the appliance handle/s, to
catch it or move it.
- Disconnect the appliance from
the mains when not in use and
before undertaking any cleaning
task.
- Unplug the appliance from the
mains before replacing any
accessory.
- Unplug the appliance from the
mains when not in use and befo-
re undertaking any cleaning task.
- This appliance is for household
use only, not professional,
industrial use.
- This appliance is intended for
adult use. Ensure that this pro-
duct is not used by the disabled,
children or people unused to its
handling.
- This appliance is not a toy.
Children should be supervised
to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
- Do not expose the appliance to

extreme temperatures.
- Do not use the appliance on any
part of the body of a person or
animal.
- CAUTION: User can’t sleep
when appliance is under use;
there is a risk of injuries.
- Let the appliance running with
no load for 30 seconds in a safe
position. If you notice serious
vibration or other defects stop
the appliance immediately.
Then check the problem and /
or proceed as we describe on
Anomalies and Repair clause.
- The appliance can be used on
surfaces such as: wood, card-
board, plastic, plaster, etc.
- When working in amianthus/
asbestos and/or silica stone,
the dust produced is extremely
harmful for your health. Wear
protection against inhalation
of this dust, in compliance with
current regulations on accident
prevention.

INSTALLATION
FITTING SAFETY DEVICES
- Always be sure that the tool
is switched off and unplugged
before carrying out any work on
the tool.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR
USE
BEFORE USE:
- Remove the appliance’s protec-
tive lm.
- Make sure that all the product’s
packaging has been removed.
- Ensure that the voltage indica-
ted on the rating label matches
the mains voltage before plug-
ging in the appliance.
- Always be sure that the tool
is switched off and unplugged
before carrying out any work on
the tool.

FITTING THE ACCESSORIES
- Unplug the appliance from the
mains.
- Place the blade into the saw
blade holder (I)
- Push the blade as far as it can
go and it wil be xed.
- Run the jig saw under no load to
check that the blade is secu-
re before using it to cut any
materials.
- NOTE: It’s always better if you
push the blade clamps along
with the blade in order to mount
it.
DUST BLOWING SYSTEM (M):
- The appliance is equipped with
a blowing system to keep the
view line clean. Also, it has a va-
cuum cleaner adapter which can
be used with the dust blower
function off.
- To activate it, push the Dust
blower switch to the right.
- To deactivate it, place the dust
blower switch to the left.
USE:
- Unroll the cable completely
before plugging it in.
- Connect the appliance to the
mains.
- Turn the appliance on, by using
the Start-up switch.
- NOTE: The tool is equipped
with a lock on button. It can be
activated by pushing the lock
on button (B) to one side while
pushin the start-up button (A).
To deactivate it simply pres de
start-up button again (A).
ELECTRONIC SPEED CON-
TROL:
- The speed of the appliance can
be regulated by using the speed
regulator control (S). This func-
tion is very useful, as it makes it
possible to adapt the speed of
the appliance to the type of work
that needs to be done.
PENDULAR FUNCTION
- This appliance is equipped with
a pendular system.
- To activate it turn the pendular
regulation lever to the position
(1, 2, 3), 1 for minimum and 3
for maximum.
- To deactivate it turn the pendular
regulation lever to the position 0.
- Recommendations:
- Use no pendulum function for
metal, plastic sheets, ne cutting
edges.
- Use position 1 for cutting hard
wood, plastics
- Use position 2 for cutting wood,
ne edges on wood
- Use position 3 for cutting wood if
no ne edges are required.
LIGHT & LASER FUNCTION:
- The appliance includes a light &
laser function, which illuminates
the working area and shows a
straight line under the appliance.

- To activate it push the Laser
switch 1 time to activate the
laser, 2 times to activate the
light or 3 times to activate both
light and laser.
- To deactivate it complete the
cycle and the 4th time they will
be switch off.
ADJUSTING THE MOVING
BASE – ANGLE CUTTING
(FIG.1)
- The base of this Jig Saw can be
adapted to different angle cuts.
- Use an allen wrench to loosen
the base xing screws (R).
- Move the base by rotating it.
The base is marked with diffe-
rent angle. Adjust the base to
the angle preferred.
- Fix the screws again.
- NOTE: If you want to cut at
45 degrees, remove the Shoe
protector (H)
LATERAL STOP ADJUSTMENT
- For parallel cutting, use the
lateral stop (U). Cutting width
is adjusted with the scale or
according to the plotting. Tighten
the lateral stop x screws (G) to
work with the lateral stop.
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED
USING THE APPLIANCE:
- Turn the appliance off by relea-
sing start up switch, or in case
you were using lock-on function,
pushing and releasing it.
- Unplug the appliance from the
mains.
- Clean the appliance.
CARRY HANDLE/S:
- This appliance has a handle on
the upper part of the body, which
facilitates comfortable transpor-
tation and usability.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE
- WARNING! Always unplug the
machine before carrying out
work on it.
- Checking the saw blade: depo-
sits of resin and glue on the saw
blade cause inefcient cutting.
To avoid them, always clean the
blade immediately after use.
- The vents should always be kept
clean and free of obstacles.
CLEANING
- Disconnect the appliance from
the mains and allow it to cool
before undertaking any cleaning
task.
- Clean the equipment with a
damp cloth with a few drops of
washing-up liquid and then dry.
- Do not use solvents, or products
with an acid or base pH such as
bleach, or abrasive products, for
cleaning the appliance.
- Never submerge the appliance
in water or any other liquid or
place it under running water.

REPAIR
- Take the appliance to an autho-
rised technical support service
if product is damaged or other
problems arise. Do not attempt
to disassemble or repair the
appliance yourself as this may
be dangerous.
- If the connection to the mains
has been damaged, it must be
replaced, take the appliance to
an authorised technical support
service. Do not attempt to disas-
semble or repair the appliance
by yourself in order to avoid a
hazard.

acompañan a esta herramien-

SEGURIDAD PERSONAL
-Permanezca alerta, vigile sus
acciones y utilice el sentido
común cuando trabaje con
una herramienta eléctrica. No
utilice una herramienta eléc-
trica si se encuentra cansado
o bajo la inuencia de drogas,
alcohol o medicamentos. Un
instante de descuido mientras

grave riesgo de accidentes.
-Retire las herramientas de
ajuste o llaves jas antes de
activar la herramienta eléctri-
ca. Una herramienta de ajuste o
llave ja colocada en una pieza
giratoria de la herramienta eléc-
trica puede provocar lesiones
personales.
-No trabajar a una distancia
excesiva. Mantenga en todo
momento una postura rme
y equilibrada. Ello le permitirá
controlar mejor la herramienta
eléctrica en caso de presentarse
una situación inesperada.
-Vista de forma adecuada.
No utilice ropas holgadas ni
joyas. Mantenga el pelo y la
ropa alejados de las partes
móviles. Las ropas holgadas,
las joyas o los cabellos largos
pueden quedar atrapados en las
partes móviles.
-Si se incluyen dispositivos
para la conexión de acceso-
rios de extracción y recogida
de polvo, compruebe que es-
tén bien conectados y que se
utilizan correctamente. El uso
de un accesorio de recogida de
polvo puede reducir los peligros
relacionados con la presencia
de polvo.
-Aunque esté familiarizado con
el uso de las herramientas
eléctricas, no se confíe hasta
el punto de no tener en cuenta
los principios de seguridad
de la herramienta. Un descuido
puede provocar lesiones graves
en un instante.
UTILIZACIÓN Y MANTENIMIEN-
TO DE LAS HERRAMIENTAS
ELÉCTRICAS
-No fuerce la capacidad de
trabajo de la herramienta eléc-
trica. Utilice la herramienta
eléctrica adecuada para cada
aplicación. La herramienta
eléctrica correcta hará un traba-
jo mejor y más seguro, acorde
con la nalidad para la que fue
diseñada.
-No utilice la herramienta
eléctrica si el interruptor de
activación/desactivación no
funciona. Las herramientas
eléctricas que no puedan con-
trolarse con el interruptor son
peligrosas y deben repararse.
-Desconecte el enchufe de la
fuente de alimentación y/o
retire la batería de la herra-
mienta eléctrica, si es des-
montable, antes de realizar
ajustes, cambiar accesorios
o almacenar las herramientas
eléctricas. Aplicando estas me-
didas de seguridad se reduce
el riesgo de poner en marcha la
herramienta eléctrica de manera
accidental.
-Guarde las herramientas
eléctricas fuera del alcance
de los niños, y no permita su

utilización a personas que
no estén familiarizadas con
su uso o que no hayan leído

peligrosas.
-Conserve en buen estado las
herramientas eléctricas y sus
accesorios. Compruebe el co-
rrecto ajuste y la sujeción de
las piezas móviles, posibles
roturas y otros condicionan-
tes que puedan afectar al fun-
cionamiento de la herramienta
eléctrica. Si está dañada, la
herramienta eléctrica debe ha-
cerse reparar antes de usarla.
Muchos accidentes se producen
debido a un mantenimiento
insuciente de las herramientas
eléctricas.
-Mantener las herramientas de
corte aladas y limpias. Unas
herramientas de corte en buen
estado, con unos bordes bien
alados son más difíciles de
doblar y se controlan mejor.
-Utilice la herramienta eléctri-
ca, accesorios, útiles, etc. si-
guiendo estas instrucciones,
considerando las condiciones
de trabajo y la tarea a realizar.
El uso de herramientas eléc-
tricas para trabajos diferentes
de aquellos para los que han
sido concebidas puede resultar
peligroso.
-Mantenga las empuñaduras y
las supercies de sujeción se-
cas, limpias y libres de aceite
y grasa. Si las empuñaduras
y las supercies de sujeción
están resbaladizas no permi-
ten controlar adecuadamente
la herramienta en situaciones
imprevistas.
MANTENIMIENTO
-Haga reparar su herramienta
eléctrica por un profesional,
empleando exclusivamente
piezas de repuesto originales.
Así se garantiza el manteni-
miento de la seguridad de la
herramienta eléctrica.
INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURI-
DAD PARA SIERRAS DE SABLE
-Sujete la herramienta eléctrica
únicamente por las super-
cies de sujeción aisladas
cuando realice una operación
en la que el accesorio de cor-
te pueda entrar en contacto
con cables ocultos o con su
propio cable. Si el accesorio de
corte entra en contacto con un
cable “cargado” puede que las
partes metálicas expuestas de
la herramienta eléctrica también
queden “cargadas” y que el
operario sufra una descarga
eléctrica.
-Utilice abrazaderas u otra
forma práctica de asegurar
y sujetar la pieza de trabajo
en una plataforma estable. Si
sujeta la pieza de trabajo con la

mano o contra el cuerpo no ten-
drá estabilidad y puede perder
el control de la misma.
NORMATIVAS DE SEGURIDAD
PARA LUCES LÁSER
- La luz láser utilizada es de clase
2, con una potencia máxima de
1 mW y una longitud de onda
de 650 nm. Normalmente estos
láseres no suponen ningún pe-
ligro para la vista, aunque mirar
jamente el rayo de luz puede
provocar deslumbramiento.
- ATENCIÓN: No mire hacia el
rayo láser. Mirar deliberadamen-
te el rayo de luz puede resultar
peligroso. Tenga en cuenta
todas estas normativas de
seguridad.
- El láser deberá utilizarse y
conservarse de acuerdo con las
instrucciones del fabricante.
- Nunca dirija el rayo de luz a
ninguna persona ni objetos que
no sean la pieza de trabajo.
- No apunte el rayo de luz delibe-
radamente hacia las personas y
asegurarse de que no se dirige
hacia los ojos.
- Cerciorarse siempre de apuntar
el rayo láser hacia una pieza de
trabajo robusta y sin supercies
reectantes. Las planchas de
acero brillantes y reectantes o
similares no son aptas para utili-
zar el láser ya que su supercie
reectante podría dirigir el rayo
de vuelta hacia el operario.

- Desactive siempre el láser cuan-
do no se utilice.
ADVERTENCIAS DE SEGURI-
DAD ADICIONALES
- ADVERTENCIA: Para evitar
sobrecalentamientos, no cubra
el aparato.
- Evite que tanto la entrada como
la salida de aire queden total
o parcialmente tapadas por
muebles, cortinajes, ropas, etc.,
ya que aumentaría el riesgo de
incendio.
- No utilice el aparato si el cable
eléctrico o el enchufe están
dañados.
- Antes de conectar el aparato
a la red, compruebe que el
voltaje indicado en la placa de
características coincide con el
voltaje de red.
- Conecte el aparato a una toma
de corriente que soporte como
mínimo 16 amperios.
- Utilice el aparato solamente con
el conector eléctrico especíco
suministrado.
- Si se rompe alguna de las car-
casas del aparato, desconéctelo
inmediatamente de la red eléc-
trica para evitar la posibilidad de
sufrir una descarga eléctrica.
- ADVERTENCIA: Mantenga el
aparato seco.

- ADVERTENCIA: No utilice el
aparato cerca del agua.
- No utilice el aparato con las
manos o los pies húmedos, ni
con los pies descalzos.
- No enrolle el cable eléctrico
alrededor del aparato.
- No deje que el cable eléctrico
quede atrapado o arrugado.
- Compruebe el estado del cable
eléctrico. Los cables dañados o
enredados aumentan el riesgo
de sufrir descargas eléctricas.
- No toque el enchufe con las
manos mojadas.
- Vigile que las chispas resultan-
tes del uso no supongan ningún
peligro, por ejemplo que no
puedan alcanzar a las perso-
nas ni entrar en contacto con
sustancias inamables.
- Utilice prensas de sujeción o un
tornillo de banco para sujetar la
pieza a trabajar. El trabajo será
más seguro si puede controlar-
se la herramienta con ambas
manos.
- No toque las partes móviles
del aparato mientras está en
marcha.
- No toque la broca ni la pieza de
trabajo inmediatamente después
de haber terminado la opera-
ción. Estarán muy calientes y
podría sufrir quemaduras.
- Tenga cuidado después de
detener el aparato, ya que la
herramienta seguirá girando por
efecto de su inercia mecánica.
- ADVERTENCIA: Radiación lá-
ser. No mire directamente hacia
el rayo de luz. Láser de clase 2.
- Antes de cada uso, desenrolle
completamente el cable de
alimentación del aparato.
- No utilice el aparato si sus ac-
cesorios no están debidamente
acoplados.
- No utilice el aparato si los acce-
sorios o consumibles acoplados
a él presentan defectos. Sustitú-
yalos inmediatamente.
- Utilice el(las) asa(s) del aparato
para sostenerlo o desplazarlo.
- Desconecte el aparato de la red
cuando no lo utilice y antes de
realizar cualquier operación de
limpieza.
- Desenchufe el aparato de la
red eléctrica antes de sustituir
cualquier accesorio.
- Desenchufe el aparato de la
red eléctrica cuando no se use
y antes de realizar cualquier
operación de limpieza.
- Este aparato está pensado
únicamente para un uso domés-
tico, no para uso profesional ni
industrial.
- Este aparato está diseñado para
su uso por parte de personas
adultas. No permita que lo utili-
cen personas no familiarizadas
con este tipo de producto, per-
sonas discapacitadas o niños.
- Este aparato no es un juguete.
Preste atención a los niños y
asegúrese de que no juegan

con el aparato.
- No exponer el aparato a tempe-
raturas extremas.
- No utilice el aparato sobre
ninguna parte del cuerpo de una
persona o animal.
- ADVERTENCIA: No se quede
dormido mientras se use este
aparato, ya que existe riesgo de
daños.
- Deje en marcha el aparato sin
carga durante 30 segundos y en
