SLEEP MODE: This mode is found on the remote control only and simply
dims the front screen at nighttime if the unit is in your bedroom. This has
no effect on the disinfection effectiveness or functionality of the unit.

WARNING: Never operate unit near a heat source, open flame or flammable/combustible fluids.
WARNING: Do not operate unit unless all parts (including Cell, Purification Plate, Rear Filter Assembly and
Rear Cover) are properly installed.
CAUTION: Directly viewing the lamp inside unit for an extended period may result in eye damage.
CAUTION: When using AWAY Mode, the ventilation system from the room should provide a minimum of three
air exchanges per hour. If you don’t know the rate of air exchange, make sure there is normal air circulation in
the room or open a window after the away mode has completed if you have that option.
CAUTION: DO NOT USE AWAY MODE IN OCCUPIED SPACES. Short term exposure to ozone levels exceeding 0.5
ppm can cause temporary adverse reactions, including irritation in the eyes, nose and throat, shortness of
breath, chest pain, and wheezing. Pets, children, the elderly, and individuals with preexisting conditions such
as asthma, heart conditions, or high blood pressure are especially at risk.
CAUTION: Unit should be powered OFF and Power Cord should be disconnected when
Cleaning/Disassembling/ Reassembling/Servicing.
Note: Some CASPR Compact Versions (CASPR COMPACT-CA) do not include purification plates. You may
also choose to remove the purification plate yourself. When the purification plate has been removed your unit
will remain in Standard PCO/NCC Mode regardless of what mode is displayed on screen and can always be
