1. Pour half a litre of 8 % white vinegar into the kettle and let it sit for 1 hour.
2. Pour the vinegar out and rinse the kettle with water 4 or 5 times.
3. Pour half a litre of water and 25 ml of lemon juice into the kettle and boil.
4. Let sit for 15 minutes and rinse again 4 or 5 times with clean water.
