SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions thoroughly before
using the appliance. Keep this instruction
manual for future reference or new users.
Make sure that the mains voltage
matches the voltage stated on the
rating label of the appliance and that the
wall outlet is grounded.
This product is for household only. Do not
use for commercial or industrial purposes.
Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any
non-removable part of the appliance in
water or any other liquid, nor expose the
electrical connections to water. Make sure
your hands are dry before handling the
plug or switching on the appliance.
Do not use the device if its cord or any
other part is damaged. In this case, contact
the ocial Technical Support Service of
Cecotec.
Keep children away from the packaging
materials. Risk of suocation.
The appliance must be checked frequently
for signs of wear or damage. If such
signs are present, of if the appliance has
been used improperly, contact the ocial
Technical Support Service of Cecotec. Do
not try to repair the device by yourself.
Switch o the device immediately in the
event of defects or malfunctions. Pull from
the plug, not the cable to disconnect it.
Do not use accessories or parts that have
not been provided by Cecotec.
Do not leave the device unattended while
in use.
Do not use on animals.
Check the power cord regularly for visible
damage. If the cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the ocial Technical Support
Service of Cecotec in order to avoid any
type of danger.
Do not use the device in the bath, shower,
swimming pool, above a sink with water or
areas with extremely high humidity levels.
Keep the product away from heat sources.
Do not use an extension cord with this
appliance.
The device may reach high temperatures
during use, avoid contact with eyes and
bare skin.
Do not use outdoors or operate it near

ammable substances such as aerosols.
Do not cover the appliance with any object
during use and do not expose the power
cord to the heating part of the appliance.
Do not use the appliance simultaneously
with hair mousse, spray or gel.
Do not place the appliance directly on any
non-heatproof surfaces while plugged in
or operating.
If the appliance falls into water, unplug it
immediately. Do not reach into water.
Never grasp the appliance by or near
the straightening brush teeth when the
appliance is on. The straightening brush
teeth can cause burns. Avoid contact with
the skin and eyes. Never transport the
appliance when hot.
This appliance cannot be used by children
or persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge. Supervise young children
to make sure that they do not play with the
appliance.

2. BEFORE USE
Take the product out of the box.
Remove all packaging materials. Keep the original box.
Make sure all the components are included and in good
conditions, otherwise, contact immediately the ocial
Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
3. OPERATION
Wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner.
Blow dry your hair with a dryer before using the straightening
brush.
Use a heat protection product and comb your hair with a large-
toothed comb.
Connect the appliance to the power supply.
Press and hold the On/o button until the LED indicator lights
up.
How to straighten your hair
Note: Do not touch the heating plate or the bristles during use
to avoid burns.
Make sure that the curved sides of the product are facing each
other.
Hold the appliance by the handle, always at a safe distance
from skin and eyes. Use a mirror.
Separate your hair into approx. 4-cm strands.
Hold the appliance in the hand.
Begin at the roots and lay the prepared strands one at a time
between the straightening brush teeth.
Move the hair straightener slowly from the roots through to
the tips of your hair. Repeat until your hair is as straight as you
desire.
After nishing styling, let your hair cool down.
How to create volume at hair roots
Note: Do not tilt the styler at an angle on your scalp as the
heated barrel is hot and this could be uncomfortable on your
scalp.
Select one hair strand that is parallel to your hair line.
Keep the device in this position for 5-8 sec.
Remove the device without pulling the selected hair to
maintain the styling result.
To style the rest of your hair, repeat these steps.
Do not comb your scalp, it is hot and could cause you burns.
Note: For best results, as you pull the device away from the
roots, push it against the hair and slightly towards the center
of your head.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Turn o and disconnect the device from the mains supply
before cleaning it.
Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid or
place it under running water.
Place the device on a heatproof surface until it cools down
before cleaning or storing it.
Only use a moisturised and clean cloth to clean the product.
Do not wrap the cord around the barrel.
Store the appliance in a safe and dry place and keep it out
of the reach of children. You may hang the appliance by the
hanging hook.

6. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE),
species that old household electrical
appliances must not be disposed of with the
normal unsorted municipal waste. Old
appliances must be collected separately, in
order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials
they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the
environment.
The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds
you of your obligation to dispose of the appliance correctly.
Consumers must contact their local authorities or retailer for
information concerning the correct disposal of old appliances
and/or their batteries.
7. TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND WARRANTY
This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of
purchase, as long as the proof of purchase is submitted, the
product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given
proper use, as explained in this instruction manual.
The warranty will not cover the following situations:
The product has been used for purposes other than those
intended for it, misused, beaten, exposed to moisture,
immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any
other fault attributable to the customer.
The product has been disassembled, modied, or repaired
by persons, not authorised by the ocial Technical Support
Service of Cecotec.
Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due
to use.
The warranty service covers every manufacturing defects of
your appliance for 2 years, based on current legislation, except
consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the warranty will not
apply.
