1B. Once the zipper is undone, pull the Canopy forward. This
will extend the mesh section of the Canopy and shield more of
the child in the KeyFit.

CAUTION
These instructions are in addition to the instructions in
the User Guide. Only the differences in the canopy, infant
insert, and footmuff are outlined. To avoid serious injury or
death to your child, you must read and understand these
instructions and the User Guide.

Footmuff / Mitones
2C. When properly installed, the Newborn Insert and harness
should look like drawing.

2A. Pull both Harness Straps between the back and side panels.
Top of the insert should always be BELOW the lower harness
slots. Pull end of Buckle through center slot in insert (2B). Push
insert rmly into bottom of carrier.

Infant Insert (head & body) / Portabebés (cabeza y cuerpo)
2D. To install Head Support, pull Fastener Tabs through slots and
then attach together on underside of carrier (2E). Fastener Tabs
must always connect through slots ABOVE the slots used for har-
ness. Head Support should go AROUND baby’s head, not under
(2F).
2D. Para instalar el Soporte de la Cabeza, pase las lengüetas del
sujetador a través de las ranuras y luego conéctelas en la parte

3C. Once the Footmuff is secured, you can still access the baby
through the front crossover ap. To close the Footmuff, line up
the hook and loop tabs and press rmly (3D).

Only use Newborn Insert with harness in the lowest position, and
only if the child weighs between 4 and 11 pounds (2 and 5 kg).
