betrieb erfolgen, der dabei für die Beachtung der
bestehenden Normen und Installationsvorschriften voll

This remote control may only be installed and started up
for the first time by an authorized specialist company.
Responsibility for compliance with the applicable stan-
dards and installation regulations rests entirely on the
company installing the appliance. We cannot accept any
liability for damage and losses due to non-compliance
with these instructions. Read this manual completely
before starting up the remote control. Particularly observe
the safety instructions!

2. Gerätebeschreibung Description of appliance
Durch die Fernbedienung FX wird die Funktionalität der
Durchlauferhitzer DSX und DEX auch dann erhalten, wenn
der Durchlauferhitzer nicht in unmittelbarer Umgebung der
Zapfstelle montiert ist. Eine bedarfsgerechte Temperatur-
einstellung ist auch dann komfortabel möglich.
Die Kommunikation zwischen Fernbedienung und
Durchlauferhitzer findet bidirektional statt. Durch diese
Technologie ist eine sichere Datenübermittlung auch unter
schwierigen Installationsbedingungen sichergestellt.
Es lassen sich bis zu vier Funkfernbedienungen vom
Typ FX an einem Durchlauferhitzer betreiben.
Maximal 3 Erweiterungsmodule FX3 können zusammen
mit der Funkfernbedienung FX2 betrieben werden.
Hinweis: Es findet keine Vorrangschaltung zwischen den
Funkfernbedienungen und der Einstellmöglichkeiten am
Gerät statt. Alle Bedienelemente sind gleichrangig. Beach-
ten Sie bitte, dass sich durch den Eingriff einer zweiten
Person die Temperatur des warmen Wassers ändern kann.
The FX remote control ensures that the instantaneous
water heaters DSX and DEX remain fully functional even if
the appliance is relatively inaccessible and the temperatu-
re consequently cannot be set as required.
The communication between the remote control and the
instantaneous water heater is bi-directional. Due to this
technology the data transfer is secured even under difficult
installation conditions.
Up to four remote control devices of Type FX can be run
with one instantaneous water heater. Maximum 3 supple-
ment modules FX3 can be in operation together with the
remote control FX2.
Note: There is no priority circuit between the remote
control devices and the setting options at the appliance.
All operation modules are coequal. Please observe that by
interference of a second user the water outlet temperature
can change.

5. Installation Installation
Hinweis:
Im Lieferzustand ist die Fernbedienung FX2 bereits am
Funkadapter angemeldet. Die Taste auf dem Funkadapter
muss nur dann betätigt werden, wenn eine weitere Fern-
bedienung FX3 angemeldet werden soll.
Siehe Abschnitt 7 „Werkseinstellung“
1. Der Funkadapter ist im Durchlauferhitzer zu montieren.
Achtung!
Vor Installation des Funkadapters
den Durchlauferhitzer spannungsfrei schalten.
Note:
When delivered the remote control FX2 is already registe-
red with the transmission unit. The pushbutton must only
be activated if yet another remote control FX3 shall be
registered. See chapter 7 “Works Setting”
1. The transmission unit has to be assembled inside the
instantaneous water heater.
Attention!
Before assembling the transmission unit disconnect the
instantaneous water heater from the mains supply.

2. Unscrew the cover of the mobile device and insert two
Alkaline batteries Type AA (no rechargeable batteries).
Observe polarity of the batteries. See figure 4.
3. Pay attention to a tight closure of the seals when srew-
ing up the remote control. Do not overwind screws!
4. Check function by pressing the key on the remote con-
trol. (FX 3 must be registered with the appliance before
functional check – see page 12 – when delivered FX2 is
already registered.)
2. Gehäuse des Mobilteils aufschrauben und zwei
Alkaline-Batterien vom Typ AA einlegen (keine Akkus).
Polarität der Batterien beachten. Siehe Bild 4.
3. Beim Verschrauben der Fernbedienung auf sicheren
Sitz der Dichtung achten! Schrauben nicht mit Gewalt
anziehen.
4. Durch Tastendruck auf der Fernbedienung die
Funktionen prüfen. (FX 3 muss vor der Funktionsprüfung
am Gerät angemeldet werden – Siehe S. 12 –
FX2 ist im Auslieferzustand bereits
angemeldet.)
