Installation & Use
The system functions best if you always place thetransmitter and receiver at
a higher level than theother parts of theAV device and if there are as little as possible
obstacles blocking thereceiver and transmitter.
Transmitter
Note!
Adjust all theconnections for audio and video before you connect to theadaptor.
1. Connect theincluded SCART cable which is labled “INPUT” from thetransmitter’s
input “AUDIO IN” and “VIDEO IN” to theSCART output of your AV device, e.g.
video, digital receiver, cable decoder etc. The transmitter is theunit which is labled
“TX” underneath.
2. Connect theadaptor to theconnection “DC 9V” on thetransmitter and then into
awall socket.
3. Select achannel for transfer by pushing thechannel switch laterally to thedesired
channel. Remember to also adjust thesame channel on thereceiver.
4. Turn off theAV system (e.g. video, digital receiver).
5. Connect theIR cable to theIR connection and place theIR cable’s rectangular
part in front of it or theAV equipment which will be controlled.
Note! The rectangular IR part must be facing towards theAV equipment’s.
Receiver
Note!
Adjust all theconnections for audio and video before you connect to theadaptor.
1. Connect theincluded SCART cable which is labled “OUTPUT” from
therececiever’s output “AUDIO OUT” and “VIDEO OUT” to afree SCART input on
your TV. Thereceiver is theunit which is labled “RX” underneath.
2. Connect theadaptor to theconnection “DC 9V” on thetransmitter and then into
awall socket.
3. Adjust to thesame channel for thetransfer to theadjusted one on thereceiver.
4. Turn off theAV system (e.g. video, digital receiver) if it is not already turned off.
5. Aim theremote control towards thereceiver window on thereceiver to control
theAV device.
6. Adjust theTV to AV position to receive images (TV in thereceiving room).
Thebutton for theAV channel (SCART channel) can be labled AV or awindow with
an arrow in it. See operator’s manual for your TV or video player for thebutton you
should use.
Note! You can not search for thechannel with channel searching as thesignal is
directly connected to theAV input.
