Toolsofthisclassoperateonawiderangeofairpressures.Itis
recommendedthatairpressureofthesetoolsmeasures90PSIat
thetoolwhilerunningfree.Higherpressure(over90psig;6.2bar)
raisesperformancebeyondtheratedcapacityofthetool,which
willshortentoollifebecauseoffasterwearandcouldcauseinjury.
Alwaysuseclean,dryair.Dust,corrosivefumesand/orwaterin
theairlinewillcausedamagetothetool.Draintheairtankdaily.
Cleantheairinletfilterscreenonatleastaweeklyschedule.The
recommendedhookupprocedurecanbeviewedintheabove
figure.
Theairinletusedforconnectingairsupplyhasstandard1/4"NPT.
Linepressureshouldbeincreasedtocompensateforunusually
longairhoses(over25feet).Minimumhosediametershouldbe
3/8"I.D.andfittingsshouldhavethesameinsidedimensionsand
betightlysecured.

Alwaysplaceachiselinthehammerandholdthetooldownto
theworkbeforeoperating.Damagetothetoolortheretainermay
resultifthisprecautionisnotfollowed.
Thechiselretainersarenotdesignedforcompletesafetyagainst
accidentalreleaseofcuttersorhammers.Toavoidinjury,the
throttlemustneverbedepressedunlessthechiselisheldfirmly
againsttheworkplace.Whentoolisnotinactualuse,thechisel
mustberemoved.Duringoperation,safetygogglesshouldalways
beusedtoguardagainstflyingrustandchips.Whenusingtool,
regulatethespeedsothatthechiselisnotbeingdrivenoutof
thecylinder.Ifpistonisallowedtostrikethecylinderwall,internal
damagewillresult.
Tochangechisel,pullbackonspringhookandinsertchisel.
Releasespringhook.
Toregulateair,turnairregulatorknoboutformaximumair
pressureandinforminimum.

Lubricatethisairtooldailywithqualityairtooloil.Ifnoairline
oilerisused,run1/2oz.ofoilthroughthetool.Theoilcanbe
squirtedintothetoolairinletorintothehoseatthenearest
connectiontotheairsupply,thenrunthetool.
Overfillingwillcauseareductioninthepowerofthetool.
WARRANTY
Cornwellwarrantsthisairtoolforaperiodof2yearstotheconsumer.Wewillrepairany CAT3190AHMV covered under this warranty which
provestobedefectiveinmaterialorworkmanshipduringthewarrantyperiod.Inordertohaveyourtoolrepaired,returnthetooltoanyCornwell
AuthorizedWarrantyCenter,freightprepaid.Pleaseincludeacopyofyourproofofpurchaseandabriefdescriptionoftheproblem.Thetoolwill
beinspectedandifanypartorpartsarefoundtobedefectiveinmaterialorworkmanship,theywillberepairedfreeofchargeandtherepaired
toolwillbereturnedtoyoufreightprepaid.
Thiswarrantygivesyouspecificrights.Youmayalsohaveotherrightswhichvaryfromstatetostate.
TheforegoingobligationisCornwell’ssoleliabilityunderthisoranyimpliedwarrantyandundernocircumstancesshallCornwellbeliableforany
incidentalorconsequentialdamages.
Somestatesdonotallowtheexclusionorlimitationofincidentalorconsequentialdamagessotheabovelimitationorexclusionmaynot
applytoyou.
