Introduction
a) Important information
General
•The mixer shower has been designedfor convenience, economy and safetyof use, provided thatit
is installed and used in accordance with these instructionsand recommendations.
•Installations thatinvolve working“atheight” (such as ina loft) mustcomplywiththe “Workingat
Height Regulations 2005”.
Plumbing (Pumped model only)
•The pumped showerunit is designed to boost the flow of gravityfed stored domestic water and
control the temperature and flow.
DO NOT connectthe base unit directly to the mains cold or mains hot water supplies.
•The watersupply must have a minimum head of0.08m and a maximum head of10m
•Make sure that none ofthe pipework supplyingthe base unit rises above the level ofthe
bottom ofthe cold water cistern.
•Avoid installingwhere the unitmightbe subjecttofreezing.
Plumbing (Non pumped model only)
•The non pumped showerunit is designed to mixcold and hotwater from anunvented supplyand
control the temperature and flow.
•The watersupply must have a minimum pressure of1 bar (100 kPa, 14 psi).
•Avoid installingwhere the unit mightbe subjecttofreezing.
Electrical
•Isolate themains electricalsupply before removingthe cover of the base unit.
(In normalcircumstances, the front cover does notneed to be removed).
•Allwiring and installationmustbe supervisedby a suitably qualified person.
•The base unitMUST be earthed.
•The installation mustbein accordance with the current editionof BS 7671(the “IEE Wiring
Regulations”) and “PartP” of the “BuildingRegulations” inforce atthe time of installation.
•Installations outside England and Wales must also conform to anylocalregulationsin effect.
•This appliance is intended to be permanentlyconnected tothe fixed electrical wiringof the mains
supply via a 5 ampswitched fuse connection unit.(Notsupplied).
ImportantCustomer information
Pumped Modelonly
•The shower base unit incorporates a motorthat is designed forintermittentuse.
The maximum length of time for any shower should notexceed 15 minutes.
A restperiod of 45 minutes is then required to allowthe motorto cool down.

•DO NOT switch the appliance onif you suspect it of being frozen.
