The lightning flash with an arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral
triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated
dangerous voltage within the product's enclosure that may be of
sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert
the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance
(servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.
INFORMATION - This equipment has been tested and found to comply with limits for a
Class A digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules.
These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference
when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment.
This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not
installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause
harmful interference to radio communications.
Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in
which case the user will be required to correct the interference at his own expense.

☺Horizontal Resolution 520 TVLines
Clear image quality has been achieved by employing a SONY CCD with 410,000
(effective) pixels, which provides a horizontal resolution of 520 TV lines.
☺DAY & NIGHT
This camera has a function that automatically selects the mode that is appropriate for
daytime or night-time conditions. The COLOR mode operates in daytime conditions to
provide optimum colors, and BW mode operates in nighttime conditions to enhance the
definition of the image.
☺Electronic IRIS
The electronic IRIS function enables continuous automatic control of the shutter between
1/60~1/120,000 seconds.
☺PRIVACY Function
The PRIVACY function conceals the areas you do not wish to appear on the screen.
☺3Axis built-in Vandal Resistant Dome Housing
☺High Sensitivity
The built-in high sensitivity SONY COLOR CCD enables a clear image even in
0.3Lux
☺Controlled by OSD Menu
The camera can be controlled by selecting text displayed on the monitor screen.
☺Additional Functions
MOTION DETECTION, MIRROR, SHARPNESS and SYNC (INT/LL) functions are also
available.

① 3AXIS BRACKET
-Please loosen screws and fix tilted and panned position.
③ LENS : Vari-Focal Auto Iris Lens ( 4.0mm ~ 9.0mm / F1.5 )
③ OSD PCB
- SETUP button : Used for the menu display. This button can be used to confirm
settings after changing the value of the selected function or current conditions.
- UP & DOWN buttons : Used for selecting items by moving the cursor up or down
on the menu screen.
- LEFT & RIGHT buttons : Used when changing item values, by moving the cursor
to the left or right on the menu screen

① Please press the SETUP button Settings can now be made. The SETUP menu is
displayed on the monitor.
② Green letter means, it has been selected. You may move up/down to another
function by up/down buttons and change the status by pressing left/right buttons.
③Please select 'EXIT' and then press the SETUP button to finish the setting.
Note)
• If ‘ ’ appears at the mode you wish to operate, it means that there is a sub-menu
which can be selected by pressing the SETUP button.

1) LENS
This function is used to adjust the brightness of the screen.
①Move to ‘LENS’ section of SETUP menu by up/down buttons.
②Make your choice pressing left/right key.
③ DC : Auto iris lens selection
④ MANUAL : Manual lens selection
⑤ Please press the SETUP button if you wish to return to the previous menu
Note)
• The brightness of the screen can be adjusted in DC mode. The brightness can be
adjusted within the range of 48 ~ 255. The optimum level of brightness for the user can be
achieved by adjustment.

2) SHUTTER
You can set up shutter speed here.
① Move to SHUTTER of the SETUP menu to change the setting by left/right key.
② Please select the SHUTTER FIXED mode by pressing the LEFT or RIGHT button.
③ Please select 'FIXED' mode if you wish to adjust the shutter manual.
- You can select speed from '1/60' to '1/100,000'sec (NTSC Models), '1/50' to
'1/100,000'sec (PAL Models).
④ MANUAL : Shutter Speed can be set more accurately from0~255 steps. If the
value of ’SHUTTER M.’ is larger, the shutter speed will get faster and slower if the
value of ‘SHUTTER M’ is little.
⑤ FLK : Please select 'FLK' mode when flickering occurs on the screen, due to an
imbalance between illumination and frequency.
(NTSC Model:1/100, PAL Model: 1/120)
- MANUAL : The shutter speed can be controlled manually.

Note)
• While using the internal synchronous system, if the shutter setting is on 'AUTO'
and the camera is directly facing a bright fluorescent light, the image on the screen
can directly affected. Therefore please choose the installation location with care.
3) WHITE BALANCE
①The screen color can be adjusted by using the WHITE BALANCE function.
②Please select the mode you wish to operate by pressing the LEFT or RIGHT button.
- ATW(Auto Tracking White Balance) : This automatically finds white color from color
temperature between 2000~18,000°K.
- AWB(Auto White Balance Control) : The white balance is automatically adjusted in
a specific environment. In order to obtain the best result, press the SET button
while the camera focuses on white paper. If the environment including the light
source is changed, you have to adjust the white balance again.
- FIXED : You may make a choice among 4 different WHITE BALANCE mode.
- MANUAL : The manual adjustment mode enables finer adjustment.
Please select ATW or AWB first. Please change to manual adjustment mode
and press the SETUP button. Please set the appropriate color temperature,

and then increase or decrease the red and blue color values while monitoring
the color changes on the object.
Note)
• Under the following conditions the WHITE BALANCE function may not operate
properly. In such cases, please select the AWB mode.
① When the object’s surroundings have a very high color temperature
(eg, a clear sky and sunset)
②When the object’s surroundings are dark
③If the camera directly faces a fluorescent light or is installed in a place where
there are considerable changes in illumination, the WHITE BALANCE function may
become unstable.
4) BLC (Back Light Compensation)
When there is a strong backlight behind the object, clear images of the background as well
as the object can still be obtained by using the BLC function.
①Move and select to ‘BLC’ by up/down key.

②ON : BLC ratio can be set and you can have the camera BLC functioned only for
the area of your desire.
- BLC AREA : You can compensate backlight of areas you selectively want. Press
SET key from ’BLC AREA’ and selected screen will disappear. Move to where you
want to choose by up/down and left/right button and it will be unselected if you
press once again. 16partitian out of 64 are selected bright area as default.
Keep pressing SET button and screen as below will show up.
ALL CLEAR : Cancel all selected area
ALL SET : Select All area
RETURN : Go back to setup page of BLC AREA
EXIT : Save & Exit
- BLC RATIO : Compensates Backlight at BLC ratio (0~63).
③OFF : BACKLIGHT function does not operate.
5) AGC (Auto Gain Control)

①Select ‘AGC’ from SETUP Menu.
②Select ON or OFF with left and right key.
As the level of gain increases, the screen gets brighter and the level of noise also
increases.
- ON : If ‘ON’ is selected you may regulate GAIN value manually.
NOTE)
•Default Value is 26dB and this Max. 40dB can be adjusted.
- OFF : AGC (disable).
6) FUNCTION
Select ‘FUNCTION’ key from SETUP menu and press Set key to change ‘FUNCTION’
setup.

① CAMERA ID
If the ID is input, the camera ID appears on the monitor. Also location of CAMERA ID
can be placed to which you like.
- Choose ‘ON’ from CAMERA ID’ and press SET button to move to ID SETUP menu.

(1) Press SET button in ‘CAMERA ID’ to change CAMERA ID.
(2) If it changes into ID setup status, the character with cursor can be altered.
- Press up/down button for change of characters, left/right to move to.
- Blank, 0~9, A~Z and other special characters can be input by pushing
up/down button.
- If everything is complete, move to ‘ ’ and press SET key for completion. If
you want to delete all characters made, move the cursor to ‘C’ and press
‘SETUP’ button.
(3) POSITION
- If you press SET button on ‘POSITION’ section you can set the place on the
screen for CAMERA ID(with up/down, left/right key).
(4) If the position of CAMERA ID is completed, press SETUP key to move to previous
menu.
(5) Select RETURN and press ‘SETUP’ button to save ‘ID SETUP’ and move to
previous menu.

②DAY & NIGHT : Select from COLOR, B/W or AUTO modes.

COLOR : Color mode.
AUTO : This camera has a function which automatically changes to the appropriate
mode for daytime or night-time. The COLOR mode is operated for daytime, and it
converts to B/W mode for night-time.
•DELAY : In case color mode changes into B/W mode or the opposite, you can set the DELAY
time(seconds) which automatically converts.
•START LEVEL : You can set figure(level) which converts to B/W mode when dark condition
changes into bright condition.
•END LEVEL : You can set the level of color mode when dark condition changes into bright
condition.
B/W : Output with B/W at all times. BURST signal can be kept or deleted by pressing
SET button to left or right. If the setup is done, press ‘SETUP’ key to get out and move
to previous menu..
