Dakota Digital VHX Clock Installation
For 1969-70 Ford Mustang
Your new VLC\VLK-69F-MUS kit includes:
Installation
(2X) 6-32 x 1/4”
(2X) 6-32 x 3/8” Screws
(2X) 1/2” Hexagonal Stand Offs
(4X) #6 Lock Washers

Installation Manuals
1. Remove the 8 screws securing the
clock panel to the dash and
remove from the car for easier
installation.

2. Remove the bezel spacer from the factory dash
and set aside. The spacer and three screws
will be attached to the clock later.
3. Using the supplied 6-32 x 1/4” screws, lock washers and
hexagonal stand-offs, thread the screw/lock washer through
the mounting tab and into the stand-off.
4. Using the supplied 6-32 x 3/8” screws and lock washers,
thread the screw/lock washer through the factory spacer
and into the stand-off.

5. With the three factory screws removed in Step Two,
attach the assembled clock and bezel spacer to the
dash. Connect the CAT5 cable and for VLC’s the
12V power harness to the clock and route to the
control box.
6. Reinstall the assembly in to
the dash and refer to the
Operation Manual to complete
the clock setup.
